Horrible food. Eggs not cooked, cooked a biscuit on grill. Horrible I specially asked for hash browns to be cooked throughly. Asked for medium eggs, got raw whites.

Big open clean dining room, attentive and friendly service AND they know how to cook and present food = WINNER. We came here close to the last hour of opening one night. We were one of only two parties in the room as most of the business seemed to be delivery or pick-up. Food came out without delay and everything was just as it should be. This was possibly one of the best dining experiences at an ihop, I hope they continue to do well.

My experience here was not bad at all if you look at it from an overall perspective. There were some pros and there were some cons to the meal but we will get to that later. When you walked into the store the store looked very clean it looked very spacious from when I was in there the last time the countertop that used to run along the one side of the building was gone which opened up the building a lot and made social distancing much easier. We still had to use the app and be called in for our meal to be seated but it seemed to work pretty efficiently and I was very happy with the results. Patti was our server today and she was very attentive to certain things but was not attentive to others. For instance, there are paper menus and when we sat down to the table we were only given one paper menu for two of us and with both of us sitting on opposite sides of the table it was impossible for us to look at the menu at the same time. I had expressed the concern that we only had one menu so instead of grabbing another paper menu they just returned later hoping that we had had enough time to look at the menu and decide what we want between both of us passing the menu back and forth which I find kind of odd. I ordered a coffee with my meal and had to wait until she was walking by me pick up my cup real quick pretend to be drinking some and set it down so that she could see that it wasn't full and I needed a refill even though I needed a refill quite a lot sooner than that and it really wasn't that busy unfortunately if they had a full house without restrictions I don't know if I would have gotten any second cup of coffee at all. Overall though she was very nice and she was very respectful when she did give a refill she did not bring out extra cream or sugar to the table so my second cup of coffee did not have the cream that I was desiring so it was an okay cup of coffee but for the price that I'm paying in the teacup size coffee cups that they give I made sure I drank the full cup. When we talk about the food my wife who ordered the Bacon bowl was very pleased with what she got. I was also happy with the burger which was very good but the onion rings did not have any taste it tasted like grease and bread crumbs and I was not impressed. I probably would not order the onion rings from this facility again. I gave it four stars because I believe that with everything that's going on and everything that's happening with the world today restaurants sometimes struggle with certain things but the quality of food should not be one of them and they struggled this time with the quality of food and a tiny bit with the service. I hope this is not something that happens often but I will say that overall my experience was positive there and I would recommend that if you're in the area and you would like a quick place to have inside dining and sit down and have a bite to eat try it out.

    Waiting for chicken and waffles

Clean and the service was prompt and friendly. Chicken and waffles, very nice. A freshly baked Belgian waffle and a substantial serving of battered chicken strips, very freshly cooked and almost too hot to eat, they were juicy with a nice well seasoned crust. A simple but enjoyable experience. If only ALL of the IHOP branches in this area were up to this standard.

This IHOP has good food, friendly staff, and located in a nice quiet location. It was also clean, and that's always a plus.

It being July 4th, Independence Day, I thought it would be an appropriate day to enjoy a hot dog. Just ask Joey Chestnut! I'm not going to reduce my # of *s because we really enjoyed our food and beverages. But I do have to question what I had to drink. The board said it was an Ommegang Grande Tripel stout at 5.5 ABV ($9). That level of ABV would be reasonable for a stout, but the color of the brew was golden like a typical Tripel, and not dark like the typical Stout. The bartender gave us a sample, and it was full of flavor with my wife noticing the vanilla tones that were described by the bartender. I didn't initially identify any specific flavor other than delicious and different than I would have expected from a stout. I also would not take issue with the posted 5.5 ABV. HOWEVER, a quick reference to Ommegang online as I write this says that it is a Belgium Tripel and the ABV is 9. Yes, NINE ABV! I would definitely have noticed if I were drinking a 9 ABV on an empty stomach. I also would have noticed it driving the car after finishing a pint within one hour. For those familiar with Utah Phillips, "It was good though!" But on to the food. We ordered a shareable Tot-Chos ($12.99) consisting of tater tots, tomatoes, avocado, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli. These were very tasty and not too spicy, with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside tots. My wife ordered the Sooo Cali ($10.99) hot dog. The black angus beef hot dog is very tasty even before it is topped with wild arugula, tomato, avocado, crispy onion strings, and spicy basil aioli. The combined flavors work well together on the Kings Hawaiian rolls. My choice was to try the Hogfather ($10.99) - a pork bratwurst with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli, and miso ranch. The bratwurst was delicious and again, the flavors worked well together. BTW, my wife had a Grimm Nothing But Citra ($8), an IPA that even I found acceptable. We really need to return here more frequently.

If you've never been here before, I highly recommend trying two items in particular: 1. Beer cheese dip 2. BBQ (Or any other) mac & cheese I should note that the BBQ mac & cheese (previously the Memphis BBQ Mac) recipe has changed over the years, so this review may not hold forever. That said, mac & cheese in general has been the most reliable item on the menu for me. I've tried plenty of other dishes here over time -- fish & chips, burgers, fish and chicken tacos, and nearly every mac & cheese variation -- but I'll stick to reviewing what we ordered on this visit. This time around, my wife ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the BBQ mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was delicious, and the BBQ sauce added a nice sweetness that paired really well with the pulled pork. The fish and chips were also very good. The fries were a bit soggy, but since we ordered to-go and they had to survive the drive home, I won't knock them for that. Portion sizes here are fantastic and easily justify the price. I love this spot -- it's a dependable comfort food destination for me. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to beer recommendations. The building itself is gorgeous and massive, giving the space an impressive sense of scale while you enjoy your meal.

The bartender seemed far more focused on socializing with friends, the hostess, and an off-duty employee than on serving the guests sitting at the bar. At one point, we sat for more than seven minutes with empty drinks at a bar that was nearly empty. Despite making several attempts to get her attention, we weren't acknowledged until another employee noticed us trying to flag her down and stepped in. Even then, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated moment; it was the pattern throughout the evening. Conversations with coworkers & friends consistently took priority over customer service, leaving us feeling ignored despite the bar having very few customers. The food was still very good, but the level of attentiveness and professionalism from the bartender fell well below the standard.

An earlier email reminder from the Mealeo CEO that I had over $3 in Mealeo credits reminded me that this would be a good opportunity to place my order at Country Drive-In through Mealeo to take advantage of my rewards. I was initially surprised that upon placing our order at 6:30 pm that it was not going to be ready until 7:15. But when I arrived at CD-I at 7:10 I could better understand. They were slammed with customers. I let the pickup window know that I was there for my order, and they said they would check on it. At exactly 7:15 they brought my order to the window. Ahh, reliable efficiency! My wife had decided to order a Tuna Melt ($8.39), I went traditional with the Sausage sandwich ($9.59), and a large order of Homemade Onion Rings ($7.19) for us to share. The Tuna Melt had little if any tuna flavor, very disappointing. The Sausage was one of the best I've had from them (there have been some off years recently). It was just greasy enough with the peppers and onions on top of the sausage patty that the fresh and soft brioche bun (not the hard roll indicated on the menu) prevented any loss of drippings for a flavorful bite each time. The onion rings were perfect this time also. Not overly greasy even as they cooled down. All of this is why we keep returning every season.
