Second bad experience...pulled up at Waffle House and at the last second decided to turn around and go to this ihop despite my last visit..I ordered the Nutella crepes..before they came out my server said that they messed up and had to do them over...when the crepes arrived they were missing the bananas and you could tell it was a rushed job..so I gave it back and got a double blt to go because I was pressed for time and the cook told the server since it was to go he rather make it after a cigarette break..not going back for a while! read more

The service was good but the food was awful. My omelet had little to no cheese in it, there was no bacon like it was supposed to be. My pancakes were hard and over cooked. I will not be returning. read more

We had to wait over an hour between being seated and getting our food. The servers are all mostly missing teeth or flaming gay which at least provides some entertainment for the wait. When we finally got our order, I was missing my hash browns and he was missing his pancakes. Ihop is supposed to offer a 50% LEO discount, but we only got a 10% military discount. read more

I frequent IHOP and normally the service is great. Poor service at this IHOP in Bermuda Run. We had to wait forever for food. Worst of all the manager couldn't care less. Go somewhere else for breakfast. read more

We had a birthday brunch for my daughter on Sunday, had to wait a little while, but not too long. When we were seated, our waitress, Kayla, was extremely friendly and very competent. We were kind of a large party, (12) and she quickly got our drink orders and filled them, and was on top of things the whole time we were there. The food was yummy. After our meal, Kayla brought out the cake I had provided (she had kept it in the cooler for us) and they all sang along with us. One of the waiters made a flower out of a napkin for my daughter, and also took my cake plate and utensils and had them washed for me before we left. We wanted to stay longer and visit with the wait staff! However, they were busy, not surprising! Altogether, a very fun party, thanks mostly to the wonderful wait staff! Don't come here. It's ghetto. They were out of apple juice. It took way too long for 1 order of French toast to be made. The server actually admitted to the table behind me that their food had come up, but another server stole it and gave it to her table... So their order had to be re-made. My husband and I went one Friday night around 8pm and there was no wait at all. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant. Our waitress was WONDERFUL! I think her name was Tassa (or something very close to that) and I have to base my rating purely on the service she gave us. Everyone knows IHOP is well, just IHOP. It's really nothing spectacular. The food is decent if that's what you are in the mood for. But here's the thing............our waitress was super nice and friendly. She was attentive. She was very helpful when I was trying to figure out points for different foods on their menu (it's a Weight Watchers thing). She laughed with us, made sure we had everything we needed, got us drinks to go at the end of our meal without us even asking, and was very personable. I think it was the best customer service experience I've had in a very long time. I just hope the next time we go there she is still working there. read more

Hands down, this is the best IHOP I've been to in a very long time. We went on a Sunday morning, so of course, it was crowded. We waited in the front for about 10 minutes with our family of six. A booth became available and the hostess let us know if we took our car seat out of the stroller, we'd be able to fit. We were appreciative of this because we would have been waiting another 10 minutes on a table. We all fit comfortably in the booth and the boys enjoyed coloring while we placed our order. The crew here seemed to all get along so well. The table cleaning crew was so efficient and quick. If you blinked you missed the fact that the table next to you was a mess just a few seconds before. The servers were so amicable! They were close enough for you to look up at and let them know you needed something, but they were not hovering asking questions every few minutes, like at some IHOP's I've been to. The manager was cleaning tables, serving food, and making sure everyone was happy. If I'm ever back in VA, I'll make sure to stop at this IHOP. read more

We arrived at 11:02 AM on Easter Sunday and had a long wait, like 45 minutes. Once in, we had a great waitperson, Nicole. When I needed a yellow sweetener, Joe came to the rescue and brought not just some for me immediately, he went to the kitchen and got more to stock my container on the table. That is the end of the good stuff. Our wait was for a HOUR for our food! People that came after us were served and leaving when our food finally arrived, and the kitchen screwed up two of our four orders! Our server (Nicole) kept going back and back and back to the kitchen trying to get things unraveled, and management promised to "figure out what happened and get back to us" but never did. Our original bill came with a survey, but the charge came back without it and I asked for and got it back, and when I tried to take it, it had already been taken! Imagine that! The management must have done the survey and I would LOVE to see what they said about our MISERABLE time at that restaurant! After waiting a second and third time for the mistakes on our order to be remedied, we left after TWO HOURS and I swore to come to this venue (Yelp) and to tell about their service. The one thing they did was to give us 30% off on our brunch but after the "I don't care" attitude, even that wasn't enough. I gave the waitress an $8.00 tip but the manager deserves to get fired for falsifying the survey. He was an arrogant boob! Mr. Nasty will lose when I contact corporate. He deserves to get called out for his stupidity! Caught red handed! Go to Cracker Barrel or Waffle House instead. read more

I overheard our server this morning explain to another customer that they were staffed with half the servers that are usually scheduled on a Thursday but I'm so impressed with her. Brittany was doing everything she could, tended to everything we needed, and still made a connection with us. A+ for her but F for the host. I don't know what their policies are but he could see that she and the rest of the servers were struggling to clean off tables and all he did was sit there and stand around wasting time in the kitchen area. In the whole time we were there I saw him seat maybe five groups when they first came in. The others had to wait around because he was wandering around and not helping out. He even brought people into a section and then had to lead them to another because he didn't know which tables were ready. He sat a single customer at a table for 6. I give 5 stars to Brittany but 0 for the host. Despite that my food was delicious! read more

My husband and I come here quite often. During the weekdays there isn't typically a wait, but be prepared to wait around twenty minutes on the weekends! The wait is usually less than what the hostess says, which is always good! The food is awesomely delicious, the food always comes out quick, and the staff is super friendly! One hostess (I think her name is Lacie) is always super nice and pleasant to be around, and I've had one server (I think his name is Darrell) quite a few times and he is one of the best servers I've ever had! Really Bad Service! My BF and I go to IHOP often. He loves pancakes and I love a good omelette. New to this area we were hoping to have a "go to" place. But more than once the service here has been unsatisfactory. This time was the worst. I was alone (the kiss of death if you expect top notch service in many places since the tip is based on total tab). I usually tip well in less expensive places to make up for the low tab but the server didn't know that. I have to note that I intentionally went at 1:30 pm to avoid the breakfast crowd. There were plenty of people (and staff) there but it wasn't full. Anyway, the server came to my table about 5 minutes after I arrived (too long) and I ordered: Diet Pepsi, an omelette with cheese, bacon and spinach, and the "fresh" fruit since I'm doing low carb. After 10 minutes I had to ask for my drink. He brought it and excuses about being old - he isn't. When my food came, the omelette was fine but the fruit looked like it had been pre-chewed. I told him it doesn't look good and he said "it comes pre-prepared" and offered to dig around and look for some that looks better. (You can't make this stuff up!) I asked for wheat toast instead- so much for low carb. He asked if I wanted Chalula or Tabasco. I said Chalula. He brought Tabasco. When the toast came it was dripping with liquid butter. I had to ask for a refill for my drink. Although he did stop by to see if I was doing ok he turned me over to another server temporarily so he could step outside to smoke. He came back reeking. (I'm a smoker but think you can wait if you're working). I know some of this sounds picky but my thinking is this: if I'm supposed to give a gratuity I should receive the same care as every other table. Left feeling neglected. read more
