I found this nice breakfast place, so decided to check them out. There was a 30 minute wait, so the hostess took down my number and we waited in the car. We went in 30 minutes later because we didn't receive a text and we were told that she called our name 15 minutes ago and that there was something wrong with the phone lines. She did seat us immediately. We decided to order the Crab-Ocado Scrambler and their Shrimp and Grits. The Crab-Ocado had avocado that had seen better days. Everything else was ok. The shrimp and grits had too many ingredients, but that's because we didn't read what it had. We thought it was the traditional shrimp and grits, so technically we didn't like it because it had more things than we wanted. Overall, our experience here was not great, but we are always willing to try again and when we do I will update the review. We will definitely steer away from seafood for breakfast. read more

What's good Yelp Nation, This has become my wife's and I favorite place to eat when we are playing hookie from work. The food has been great the last two visits. The pancakes are fantastic. If you love real diner pancakes this is the spot. I love thin fluffy pancakes. The French toast is great too. The potatoes are very good and seasoned. This is an overpriced waffle house. The food was not good. Clearly employees work there because they need it not because they are happy.

The food came out fast but that's because everything was burnt to death. The back and somehow the waffle. The bacon was replaced and edible but the second waffle looked just as horrible as the first. The waitress was nice but didn't offer any alternative (biscuits, pancakes, something!). She did comp my bill but I left almost as hungry as I went in. My sandwich melt was good, although if I were to order it again I would probably ask that they only put turkey on it instead of both ham and turkey since the ham was already thick enough. The food was ok. The service was excellent, top notch at best. And the restaurant was pleasantly mild toned. Just a normal Sunday morning having breakfast at a new place. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, and they were a little under cooked. My bacon was under cooked as well. My potatoes were good, and my pancakes were a bit on the thin side. You would just have to go and try for yourself. The menu is bigger than expected being that they offer breakfast and brunch for the time they are open. Look everything was awesome about this place, besides the food. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the owner was present and checking in with everyone and was a super nice guy. The ambiance and restaurant itself are awesome. BUT, the food was very average at best and maybe even below average. When I go out for breakfast, I'm expecting to eat better than what I would make myself at home and this was not the case here. I had scrambled eggs, sausage, and a waffle. The sausage was pretty good, but it's hard to mess up sausage. Now for the eggs, I ordered them scrambled but they came way over cooked and basically fried with little to no flavor. The waffle was smallish and very bland, there was no crispiness to it and it was soft and kinda mushy. After coming once, it was probably my last time. The pricing was typical for going out to a breakfast restaurant, but if I'm being 100% honest, I can eat much better tasting food at a Waffle House or IHOP or Cracker Barrell for half the price. They were nice people and I hope they figure it out , but they have some work to do in the kitchen. read more

I had a craving for eggs. This looked like just the place to satisfy. I had the Founder's Hash Benedict. Fluffy poached eggs over corned beef and English muffin. My experience here was bad. My waitress was not polite. It started with ordering. I guess I got too ahead of myself because she held up her finger a told me to hold on. I felt embarrassed honestly but brushed it off thinking maybe I was being sensitive. Then came the lack of acknowledgement. I thanked her for something and she walked away as if she was ignoring me. That happened twice. After that I just stopped saying thank you. I thought maybe she was just overwhelmed until I saw how cheerful she was with the older couple beside me. Eggs Up Grill is a very cozy place to grab some breakfast. We went after my youngest son performed with the youth orchestra group at St Paul's Baptist Church. The food was filling and there are plenty of options to choose from. I was impressed with the different options of tea they had available too. Eggs up grill was truly a delight to experience. My boyfriend and I arrived at 10am on a Sunday and had our food by 10:15am. Excellent service and staff were super nice! We started off with the Cinnamon Caramel Latte which mostly tasted like milk with cinnamon in it. I probably would not get again, however the French Vanilla latte was really good! The best part of our two dishes was the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette with pepper-jack cheese. It was very flavorful and we're still thinking about it the next day. The pancakes were average but the eggs scrambled with cheese was perfection. The environment was very clean so that was a plus as well. This spot has an open concept. You're able to sit at a booth, table, or the bar. We got to sit down immediately when we got there. It looked clean when I was there. As soon as we sat down, our waitress, Amie, was attentive to us. I ordered the blueberry muffin and eggs and my man ordered the grand slam with the three eggs. The blueberry muffin was kinda toasted on the outside, which I thought was nice because it had a slight crunch on the outside but still soft and moist on the inside. My eggs were over medium and cooked nicely. My man's food was up to his standards. No complaints. He had home fries with his order and he looked to enjoy them. First time here. Took us a while to get seated and waitress to come to the table. We ordered our drinks and food. Food came out, not correct and we never got our drinks. The food was tasty and we got a small discount for bad service and never getting coffee and other drinks. Suggestion would be take have someone walking around filling waters and Coffees all the time and that's their only job. Recommend staying home and saving your money. We paid close to $50 for breakfast for 3, food quality and environment certainly doesn't warrant the cost. One waffle that would cost bout 30c at home to make in an iron they are charging $9 for one waffle!! I ordered the avocado on toast with two eggs and it was a moldy old avocado on two measly slices of grocery store sliced bread with canned salsa, tasted bland and certainly wasn't $12 worth of food.
