This is an IHOP so you know what to expect. The wait here is always long and this is by design since these damn IHOPS are always so small. Whenever I come with the family I always get the cheesecake pancakes. I feel so ashamed to admit that I love these pancakes: super sweet, fluffy and indulgent. As I said the wait is really ridiculous, but the take out is faster. I know that this area of Brooklyn isn't stellar, but is the hired security really necessary? This review is long over due, this is my favorite Ihop to go to especially after church at CCC or on a random I'm craving pancakes lets go to Ihop kinda day. The last time I came here was after tuesday night prayer at ccc with my friend, my mom and grandma and we never seen the restaurant so slow it was actually complete happiness lol because when we usually go its always busy!. My mom and grandma adores the server Yahira every time they come in they go out of their way to say hello and to hope we get here as a server. They are super picky when it comes to customer service so her winning their hearts its a huge plus. My usual go to is an omelette because its huge and I always have some for later and it comes with either pancakes or fruits, I usually go with the pancakes because you can't go to the international house of pancakes and not get pancakes lol. They have a new menu that's pretty good also, I suggest the bacon egg and cheese waffle AMAZING! read more

This place makes a good omelette. Try the French toast much better than the pancakes, it's worth the extra money. The staff are friendly and make your visit very enjoyable. The only issue I have is that it can be very crowded, however they get you seated as quickly as possible. read more

My family and I visited this Ihop location this morning and it must have been the worst customer service experience I've had in a while. I've been a General Manager of restaurants for 6 years and I know the deal. I know it's Sunday, brunch time, "busy time", and there really needs to be a sense of urgency to seat parties accordingly. Anyway, on to my rant of what actually happened: Arrived at approximately 1pm and was told that my party of 5 (2 adults and 3 children under 11) needed to wait 35min. No problem. 35 min later the entire waiting area was empty besides my party and another party of 2. We see that two parties of 4 walk in and were sat immediately, no wait, nothing. So naturally it leads me to believe that perhaps my party was next. No. I see the host and ask her how much longer it would be since our 35min wait was up. She said: "there are 6 parties ahead of you". I was confused. 6 parties?!?!? So my real question is: how did a party of 3 just get sat IMMEDIATELY when my party of 5 is waiting 35min? Surely you won't seat them where there is only a table for 3. I'm almost positive that that table could have sat 5. Do not give WAIT TIMES, if you are unsure how long it will actually be, or if you are UNFAMILIAR on how to give WAIT TIMES in general. At the end of the day, I'm glad we weren't sat since previous Yelpers had roachpancakes. End of rant. Never again. read more

IHOP was awesome. My party had strawberry fruity tooty pancakes on the house because we became members (one stack per table). Pancakes were delicious. I had the vegetable omlette with spinach, mushrooms, Swiss cheese and tomatoes. This dish also came with a side of seasonal fruits. Everything was cooked to perfection and wasn't oily. It was healthy and tasty. My friends enjoyed their French toast, eggs, chicken omelette (comes with pancakes), and American breakfast sampler (pancakes, sausage, eggs, bacon). Everyone's food was delicious and filling. One thing I didn't particularly like was that when we asked for separate bills, each individual in our party was taxed with a 15% gratuity charge. This was the most DISGUSTING meal I have ever had at an IHOP location. For starters took forever to bring my meal out but the waitress was very kind so we were patient, when I started eating I noticed a small piece of hair in my eggs and with further examination I seen a long brown and blond hair in my pancakes! It was disgusting! After bringing it to their attention and alerting the manager they still tried to charge me for my food and tell me to buy something else. With the pandemic we are currently facing this was just unacceptable. They were very unprofessional and inconsiderate for their customers. After we reported the hair we had some employees complaining about our presence asking if and why we were still there. It was so disgusting we will never be attending again! read more

Dont go here please, go to the one on Ralph Ave. This location is horrible, a bunch of youngins that do not have good work ethic. I've went about 6 times because i give places a few chances but only once did i have a good server, i dont remember her name but yes she was young but did well and carried herself well (light skin with glasses). Any other time i had to get the manager to service me. often you get seated and then forgotten about for a good 25 min before someone comes and checks on you (if they even come and check, ive had to get up myself n go to the manager and then he would take my order) and even when its dead somehow your food comes out cold. 6/6 times ive went the food was always cold and had to get sent back. Presentation goes a long way too, workers walking around with Bonnets and Durags is not professional... Also ladies stop trying to force edges, the install was poor get some of ya money back. read more

This IHOP is always packed but for a good reason excellent management and great staff my food is always well prepared never had an issue. The manager is always around showing his face helping making appearances it shows that he cares about the store and employees. I've used the bathroom here a couple of times and every time I went it was clean and had paper in the stalls. They have something called the buddy system which is great because you can always ask for help if you need more napkins or want ketchups. My take out order is also always correct never cold they also recently signed up from uber eats. So I can definitely beat the line and order from home. read more

The manager named Arielle called the police on my 8 year old daughter and I last summer but IHOP does not care about their customers so he still works here. Last summer I asked for my bill to be adjusted because I had a free meal voucher which was emailed to me and he told me no and I cannot expect to eat for free. I explained to him that the server told me I can use it before I ordered my food, I also asked him to split the bill if it will be more convenient to the company. He said no. The entire time my wallet was on the table. My daughter went to use the restroom and I called IHOP customer care and while I was explaining what happened the police was standing at my table. They said the manager Arielle called and identified me saying I was trying to dine and dash. I explained to them my daughter is using the restroom and that I am trying to use my voucher and that I was on the phone with IHOP trying to resolve the situation. The police told me to hang up the phone pay the bill and leave the restaurant or get arrested with my daughter. I was forced to give the police officer my payment and forced to leave my daughter was not even finished eating. I do not understand how a person like this man Arielle still has his job. read more

I have never had a problem with Ihop or at any other restaurants and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dining establishment. The server Yaritza dropped an entire tray of orange juices and coffee mugs on myself and my mother. The manager Hunifred ,being more apologetic than the waitress, witnesses the incident, apologized and offered to pay for dry cleaning. We were seated where the wind from the door was felt and it made our dining experience very irksome because we sat there soaking wet from the orange juice. Trying to enjoy our tea and salad my mother tries to get comfortable but can not because the floor was still wet from the orange juice. They didn't make sure that our space was clear of glass and liquids we had to call them over to try to get everything situated. Trying to eat while soaked in orange juice was very unpleasant and it was very hard to enjoy our meal so I asked the manager if she could do something about the bill. She said that she would but that she couldn't give us a free dry cleaning because the incident happened before we received our food. I explained that the incident was the cause of us not enjoying our dining experience and she wasn't very understanding and couldn't care less. I feel that we had to pay for her waitress mistake and felt very unwelcome at this point because we've received an ultimatum for our unpleasant experience and that had ruined our entire day. Had a lunch date with my sister at this location today and I must say the waitress named kelia was extremely unprofessional and lacked customer service to the highest extent! Two people at a table and we received our food five mins apart. Food was cold. Then when asking for the check shortly after food arriving, she then noticed how upset we were so she sent the check by a another waitress(should've tipped her). I just realized the previous review was for the wrong iHop. :/ Anyway, me and my party came here for breakfast. The wait to be seated was okay, but we were pretty hungry. The waitress, was quite rude. She got us our drinks in a timely fashion, but we had to wave her over to order. "What do you want?" she says with an obviously agitated voice. As I read my order to her, I kept saying, "Eggs with cheese". After the infinite time, she repeated the order with cheese. As the rest of us ordered, her demeanor was just rude...Next, we were short a straw. When she came back with them, did she hand them to us? No, she throws them on the table. smh I get it. The best IHOP in NY! Super friendly employees. Food is always prepared well and never sloppy. You actually know who the managers are. The only day you have to wait long is on Sundays due to the church, CCC right down the street. An abundance of parking is available. The Take-out is really quick and see less as well. read more
