Refreshing to see a business doing it the right way in Canarsie! Great customer service with happy people there serving you! Best of all, THE FOOD TASTES GREAT! Very efficient too which is surprising since they have long lines at times. (No doubt because of all the other crappy service people get elsewhere in the neighborhood.) read more

Best IHOP I have been to in a really long time. Got seated right away no wait at all on a Saturday!! Wow hit the jackpot. Love the steak tips with eggs and of course the fluffity (yes fluffity) goodness of their famous pancakes that melt in your mouth mmmm! If your in brooklyn and craving IHOP definitely go here! read more

IHOP - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

As busy as it was this morning the wait wasn't as long as they mentioned thankfully. Natali was very helpful and pleasant in the waiting area. My server Ana was friendly and welcoming good customer service from both of them. read more

I have never had a problem with Ihop or at any other restaurants and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dining establishment. The server Yaritza dropped an entire tray of orange juices and coffee mugs on myself and my mother. The manager Hunifred ,being more apologetic than the waitress, witnesses the incident, apologized and offered to pay for dry cleaning. We were seated where the wind from the door was felt and it made our dining experience very irksome because we sat there soaking wet from the orange juice. Trying to enjoy our tea and salad my mother tries to get comfortable but can not because the floor was still wet from the orange juice. They didn't make sure that our space was clear of glass and liquids we had to call them over to try to get everything situated. Trying to eat while soaked in orange juice was very unpleasant and it was very hard to enjoy our meal so I asked the manager if she could do something about the bill. She said that she would but that she couldn't give us a free dry cleaning because the incident happened before we received our food. I explained that the incident was the cause of us not enjoying our dining experience and she wasn't very understanding and couldn't care less. I feel that we had to pay for her waitress mistake and felt very unwelcome at this point because we've received an ultimatum for our unpleasant experience and that had ruined our entire day. If this is how your managers represent your business I will not be dining here or at any other Ihop ever again. read more

Really clean. Excellent staff. Wait time is not long however brunch on Sunday is very long wait due to a large church just down the block.

This I hop is the bests the staff really hop when it comes to service . Like I was in a real restaurant in the city or downtown Brooklyn. Like three waiters brought our food to us. They need to have training here for the rest of the I hops in Brooklyn . Food came out nice and hot read more

Had a lunch date with my sister at this location today and I must say the waitress named kelia was extremely unprofessional and lacked customer service to the highest extent! Two people at a table and we received our food five mins apart. Food was cold. Then when asking for the check shortly after food arriving, she then noticed how upset we were so she sent the check by a another waitress(should've tipped her). Spoke to the manager and he claimed he will have a talk with her(sure hope he does) because they have now lost two loyal customers. read more

My first time trying this IHOP probably the best one I've been to so far would recommend going back

Good ihop but they are always busy on Sundays because of the CCC. They have take out and I would suggest you dont come here expecting not to wait read more

My experience was less than favorable. While the restaurant was not crowded, my food took way too long. The waitress encouraged us to order appetizers because the food would take long (credit for honesty). I had to ask her twice for my beverage which she forgot and insisted to bring out orange juice instead of the coffee I ordered. The appetizers were fine, but when our main course came out, why were my pancakes uncooked in the middle and part of my bacon was cold? Everyone but me enjoyed their food except for me. Well that was until they went home and the food went right through them. A totally disgusting experience. I would have expected more. read more

Had a great experience here the food is well cooked the waiters are friendly ! It's just busy on the weekends especially late nights so if u don't like a crowd don't go there late night ..band I love that they salty open 24hrs on the weekends ! Just what we need read more

This IHOP is DISGUSTING I got food yesterday and there were roaches in two of the pancakes I received. They are absolutely disgusting in this IHOP and when I called to complain about the bugs in my food they told me to come get more pancakes. I came here because this location had the highest rating. I came on a Monday morning so it wasn't busy. The staff is made of mostly beautiful courteous women who take pride in the work they do. They remind me of flight attendants. Good experience. read more

Pancakes pancakes awesome awesome pancakes its amazing I love the food here wish I could have it in bed

The wait was a bit long. However, once you get a seat and order its on. lol! The service is always great.

This place has the all around best breakfast ever!!!!!!!!!!! but the wait ing is to long for sitting down it has for kids the most scrumptious freshly cooked crispy bacon and fresh warm syrupy out of this world buttermilk pancakes and also to go on the side freshly stired eggs if you parents have not tried this you should try their breakfast sampler read more

When my boyfriend and I walked in we were taken back by how empty it was and all of the servers seemed to be so young. However, we were seated rather quickly because it was so empty. Our server , Courtney, was amazing, she was attentive, polite and pleasant. I ordered the French brioche with scrambled eggs and hash brown. The first downside to this IHOP was the utensils, both my boyfriends and my knife fork and spoon were dirty (resembling dishwasher stains). I ended up getting plastic utensils and my boyfriend used hot water to clean his. When my food arrived the eggs were cold, the hash brown was cold and the brioche wasn't cooked throughly, I could taste the raw egg which was disturbing. My boyfriend just had the pancakes,no mistakes there. Courtney was polite enough to take my entire dish back and brought out fresh eggs, hash brown and properly cooked French Brioche. Ultimately our experience was meehhh, it was nothing out the ordinary, the service wasn't "amazing" but it wasn't horrendous either, but we probably won't be coming back because the food wasn't quality. read more

First of all this place is AMAZING! It has a huge parking space for customers. As soon as you enter, the staff is nice and courteous. They are patient when you order. The food is made to your liking and is delivered to you in time to enjoy the freshness and goodness of it. The portions are made just right. I suggest ordering the Maui-Style Crunchy Shrimp because it blew me away. The IHOP splashers are extremely good too. You should either try both or which ever one catches your eye. Also if you're there to do take out, then they have a big, flat screen television to watch whatever is showing at the time and comfy seats. read more

This service here has gone down! Went here yesterday and the waitress was so slow!! At the end of the meal, she gave us our check and we waited for 15 minutes for her to come back. Finally, we gave up waiting and went to the front to pay, and it just so happened that the manager was up front. I told him what happened, and he said that it was unacceptable that we had to wait so long for her to come back and that he would have a talk with her. I never like to get people into trouble at work, but she was the worst waitress I've ever had at this IHOP. read more

I went to this location in the afternoon hours with my sister and our children . Our server Omar was absolutely phenomenal. He is the epitome of great customer service. He gave just enough attention to make sure we were enjoying our meal and keeping us replenished. I have been to many IHOP locations (my children's fav restaurant) but Omar definitely is the BEST server ever. Thank you Omar for a great experience. read more

Me n my daughter were once for bf. And found a hair in the eggs .since then we haven't been back .disgusted

I had the bright idea of heading to this particular location which is just feet away from a church on a Sunday afternoon. Though there was a wait, I felt the staff kept things moving at a steady pace. I appreciated the speakers outside of the eatery which meant that I did not have to cram inside of the waiting area or block the doorway. Given the location, I think they should consider expansion to meet high customer volume. I always wanted to try the crepes and finally did. My order was the international crepe passport (strawberry-topped crepes with two eggs, and substituted two turkey bacon strips and turkey links). Delicioso! My meal was affordable and sufficient, just what I needed. The service was excellent. One employee seated us, another took our drinks order, a third employee took our meal order, and a fourth employee asked if we'd like to join the Pancake Revolution. I am already a member, but my friend happily joined. Great experience! read more

Ewww gross. I got blueberry pancakes without the syrupy compote and they seemed undercooked. Felt like I was eating batter. I should have stuck to the buttermilk ones. I'll never make that mistake again. 3 stars because I've haven't had an issue with the food here unless I get blueberry. This was pretty bad though. read more

The pancakes were the best pancakes that I have ever eaten. I love the customer service too, the waiters were very friendly!

The food was pretty good, anytime when you can go into a restaurant and it's kinda slow and empty is a good thing. With that being said, the food was very fresh but that wasn't the best part. Our waitress, Genesis, was superb. Really she deserves a raise or promotion. Seeking from another waiter, she did everything you would ask for in excellent service. Polite & attentive, she got everything right in which some people would forget some details. Thumbs up on the hiring and training IHOP. Overall you can never go wrong with pancakes read more

The food here is very good, and the staff is very nice. You can eat breakfast any time of the day. The pancakes with strawberries on top is delicious. My favorite meal here is the Chicken Florentine Crepe. It's the best non breakfast item here. read more

My experience this time at the Flatlands Avenue location wasn't a good one today! I have been craving Ihops chicken philly for two weeks and when I get it they mess it up by bringing me beef. When I waive my waitress over and tell her I don't eat beef that's why I ordered chicken and she tells me I should've told her "sub chicken"! Really? That's why I asked for a chicken philly. Why get defensive? Just apologize for your mistake or if you were confused about what the customer wanted asked them to specify. Don't place the order and then get defensive when you're extremely wrong!! So now I had to sit longer, starve and watch my friend eat while the cook prepares a new sandwich for me. Don't know if I'll come back here read more

So today is my birthday and I come here for breakfast. Long story short I ordered take out from them got home and my whole order was completely wrong. Won't be coming here again read more

I like ithe place the staff very professional and make you feel welcome the food is good

First time at this particular IHOP. I have to admit because of the location I thought it was going to be not the best experience but I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised. When I initially walked in I was greeted by a young lady with a little bit of an attitude problem but when I was seated I got a really good waitress. The waitress( Fanny) was a pleasure. She was very attentive and had good disposition. I tip very well and am big on cust service. Maybe the managers can have Fanny give the hostess and some of the others lessons on how to keep their customers happy. read more

Gave us moldy food. Manager didn't even come to apologize!! Ghetto and unsanitary. Don't eat here!!

Great service and a very friendly staff, top that off with excellent food and you have a memorable experience.

When dining at the Flatlands location don't be surprise if the manager comes over to your table and ask you to leave. Apparently there's a time frame for sitting at the table. read more
