Thanks to all the study resources…read moreprovided by the school and the helpful staff members who are flexible and willing to adapt their schedules. I finished the program strong and is now ready to embark on a new field of work. The RN program here is no doubt very challenging just as in any other nursing school. Personally I turned the stress into motivation for weight-loss. I entered the program at 215lbs, and graduating now at 120lbs. Losing over 90lbs! Thank you SSKI for a brand new me! I look forward to help others achieve their health goals!

Stay away from SSKI . Our experience was extremely disappointing. We found the school to be disorganized, unprofessional, VERY RUDE and difficult to communicate with. There were so many lessons that went beyond just answering nclex questions, and I truly appreciated that. Ms. Mary was also so nice, hands-on and supportive throughout the process. Sir Don will give you the knowledge and guidance you need, but he will also remind you that you have to do your part. Put in the time, effort, and most importantly, FOCUS. Easy to register, close to home. I am actually a certified instructor and have been since the late 80s (yes I'm that old). I only teach my own summer day camp staff and do not work for HeartCPR. I thought the instructor, Kayla, was great! Class started on-time, she was professional, to-the-point, yet thorough. There were actual dummies for us to do demonstration on. Choking and first aid application treatment too. Located in a business strip off Orangewood Ave. Faculty is really clean and easy to locate. CIEMT's accelerated program is fairly intense and also strict when it comes to attendance-- but…read moreit's only 5 weeks long so there's a good reason for that. The instructors do a fantastic job. Had no idea I could retain so much information in such a short time frame before this class. Shoutout to Matt and Vince. This class is totally doable for anyone who is willing to work hard and put the time in! I'm a humanities major who had zero medical experience prior to this. I still passed everything first try, including the NREMT. I think a lot of the negative reviews here lack perspective. However stressful this class is, actually working the job is definitely more so, especially if you want to do 911. Here's some advice, though-- don't take the accelerated program if you need to work or attend school at the same time. Excuses are not accepted here. If you like dogs, there's a giant one named Bourbon. If you're allergic to dogs, either bring medicine or consider going elsewhere. Overall, highly recommend.

This would be a ZERO star rating if that was an option. This facility has a $250 registration fee…read morewhich is non-refundable after the beginning of the course. None of the course material Is made available to the students until the first day of class. On the first day of class, the owner/administrator/instructor made sarcastic comments towards my daughter about the color of her school supplies stating "Oh, you think you have enough pink?" Also, when she was unable to answer a question regarding the subject matter, he responded "Maybe if you didn't sit in that f*** a$$ corner in the back, you'd actually know the answer". This comment was made towards a person with no previous medical experience. My daughter suffers from anxiety related to bullying in high school. So to be intimidated and belittled by an instructor on her first day of post-secondary education is uncalled for and unprofessional. My daughter did not feel comfortable proceeding with the program under the instruction of this individual. Given that she attended that first day, she is ineligible to receive a refund for the $250 registration fee per their policies and course enrollment agreement. There are multiple Yelp reviews as to the inappropriate behavior and treatment inflicted by this individual along with statements about the loss of the registration fee. Aside from bullying, this feels akin to a scam. Students are harassed and embarrassed but are left at a financial loss. There is no oversight for this individual as that he is the owner/administrator. Students have no recourse and no support. This individual is left untethered to inflict his particular brand of harassment on the students. And because they attended even one day of class, he gets to keep their money.

I have been going to Rescue Squad CPR for ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications for many years, and I…read moretruly wouldn't go anywhere else. In 2016, I was returning to work after surgery and needed to renew my certifications, but financially I was struggling and couldn't afford the classes at the time. I called Rescue Squad CPR simply to find out how much the courses would cost. Tim Plummer, the owner and instructor, remembered me from a class I had taken with him about a year earlier. When Tim learned about my situation, he did something I have never forgotten: he personally paid for my certification classes so I could get what I needed to return to work. That act of kindness meant so much to me, especially during a difficult time in my life. It wasn't something he had to do, and it showed me the kind of person he is beyond being an excellent instructor. Nearly 10 years later, I still go to Tim at Rescue Squad CPR for all of my ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, and I will continue to do so. He is knowledgeable, professional, an excellent instructor, and most importantly, a genuinely wonderful human being. I will always be grateful for what Tim did for me, and I cannot recommend Rescue Squad CPR highly enough.
