They offer you so many resources, and you are always able to get in contact with administration if you need further help. Yes they push you hard, and the standard is very high but that is only because they produce the best quality nurses. The program is rigorous and will push you to become a strong student. I became confident during clinicals and developed strong test taking skills. My NCLEX seemed easy in comparison to our tests due to how much I was prepared. The day I took my NCLEX didn't feel overwhelming, it felt like another day of testing. I ended up passing at 85 questions on my first try! My experience at this nursing school has been solid overall. This is an accelerated ADN program so don't expect it to be easy it's hard like any other school. The owner really cares about the student success and stops by every other weekend to see how the students are doing. I appreciated how some instructors are very knowledgeable and have lots of experience many of them still work in icu, Er, and hospital setting and some teach at west coast and other universities and instead of paying 140k + for the same teachers here the whole program is about 70-80k and 100$ to take the hesi A2 to qualify/application. This is a great opportunity for what they're charging. While there are many positive reviews as you have seen here, there are also negative reviews. To see this contrast, I feel is not representative of its true rating. I think this school is fair and average. Why? Well you're paying 70k for the tuition for this school. Compare that to other programs and it is very affordable. However, this a relatively new and small nursing school so their current infrastructure is a bit rundown as they continue to build their reputation. However, admission is very easy and they give you the opportunity to be a nurse at an accelerated pace. I would ask you is it worth the hassle that you might go through compared to other programs where there is a long waitlist and a checklist of prerequisite courses and requirements? As you may have seen, there are comments that say they are supportive. I would say yes, they are! As they give you many "chances" in the form of remediations in their exams. This methodology is unheard of compared to other schools and this definitely sets you up for success. To top it all off, check their NCLEX Board Pass Rates from the BON, almost everyone passes. I can continue to list more positive things but that would be an injustice to the true reality. I want you to ask the students themselves what they really think of the school. I would ask them privately because with the many positives that this school has, it has its huge huge shortcomings and it is best if you heard those shortcomings from those who are really going through the process. My experience with this school has been amazing. We were given all the tools to help us succeed the program. We were given plenty of practice with high tech mannequins in one two skills lab. I was very fortunate to sustain the program while not working, but for some who aren't able to sustain the program it's their choice to continue to work or not. I passed NCLEX-RN!!!. I have finally become a Registered Nurse. The 48 hours waiting for the results while checking Pearson Vue every hour felt like the longest hours of my life. This "school" is a borderline scam. The main staff are extremely disinterested in the students goals and concerns and seem to be primarily seems out to rake in in as much money as possible. The schedule doesn't work for anyone besides the teacher and is almost completely random.You will not be able to work or plan anything due to the teacher deciding you will just have to randomly come to class for the entire day. The majority of the lesson plan devolves to the students reading from a book and attending clinic hours. There is virtually no reason to have staff besides administering tests. The school attempts to strip you of your autonomy and I'm surprised this place is still operating. This is a classic tale of "you get what you pay for". Mrs. VJ (director) and Mr. Mike (CNA instructor) are gems in a field of subadequate yet over-priced nursing programs. I took the weekends-only CNA course with Mr. Mike, and appreciated his easy to grasp style of explaining various protocols and procedures that encompass the essentials of nursing. I further appreciated that the course fees (which are ridiculously low compared to any other comparable CNA course) included the cost of materials and an American Red Cross BLS certification as well. After doing extensive research online about the different CNA programs available in the Orange County, I landed on Sri Sai Krish Institute purely for the flexible schedule and competitive price, and I am so glad I made that choice. SSKI is run by Ms. VJ, and the CNA program is taught primarily by Ms. Marela. They are thorough, patient, and experienced, often giving us plenty of wisdom about nursing work in a clinical environment. With their guidance, I was able to pass the board exam with flying colors, and I will be forever grateful. But it doesn't stop there! Even after all was said and done, Ms. VJ still helped -- and is still helping me! -- find various job opportunities to make sure I can put my CNA license to work. The facility has a couple classrooms and a large lab where you practice your clinical skills. Without question, this lab will become your best friend. I attended this school when it was just CNA program. I dont have anything to say about the program itself. However, back in 2014 Mrs Marela, LVN was aCNA jnstructor. She was such a mean person made 2 girls cry. Yelled at us and because we were seconds late when she was late all the time. She seemed bipolar all the time and no student liked her.
