Special thanks to Instructor Jojo Reyes for excellent guidance and support.

The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

I'd recommend this flexible LVN program, it is part time 2 theory classes and a 12 hour clinical each week for a total of around 18 months. It's a bit longer than most LVN programs but I would choose this option again if I needed too. You are able to work while studying, for me I was able to work 30 hours not full time, I started full time and quickly learned I personally would not be able to juggle both and still learn as much as I would like to. They have great clinical instructors with lots of experience and willing to help, they will be on you to learn and if you are falling behind, they will give you that extra one on one time during clinicals! Mrs. Rahimi, Ms. Vanessa, Mr. Faud were so great! Lastly during the end of my time at CCI they brought in a new instructor for theory that made all the difference, Dr Ayman was great! I'd compare his classes to a Mark K lecture, everything he taught was helpful, he would give mnemonics, study material, everything that helped us learn. He would make sure to be available for us should we need anything, he would do one on ones to make sure everyone was working on their weak areas and encouraged us to finish strong. At the end school is hard so make sure you are ready to stay the course both mentally and physically! You have to do the work and with this schedule it's honestly doable.

They also offer a free weekly study group once you "graduate" that provides practice tests and allows for further questions. There are some extras you can purchase too... You can purchase or rent books which is great if you are tight on cash. I would recommend purchase as I liked being able to highlight and write in my book. You can purchase online materials (prep agent) that help supplement your learning. You can also purchase a 9-5 pm crash course to prep for your test date. I highly recommend the extra purchases. I just took my test and I passed on my first try! Thanks NRE!

Being that this is the only thing that they do, you would think that they could actually do it correctly. They can't. All that, and, the phone number that they originally gave me was for an employee that had already quit, or been fired. I've been calling a defunct number, and no one bothered to tell me or call me back. I finally Google searched and found a different phone number than what was advertised and got a live person to actually call me back finally. So frustrating. There are so many places to choose from, choose wisely.
