If you miss class, you can go to another location later/earlier in the week to make it up which is a nice option. You can also change up locations to experience different instructors. They also offer a free weekly study group once you "graduate" that provides practice tests and allows for further questions. There are some extras you can purchase too... You can purchase or rent books which is great if you are tight on cash. I would recommend purchase as I liked being able to highlight and write in my book. You can purchase online materials (prep agent) that help supplement your learning. You can also purchase a 9-5 pm crash course to prep for your test date. I highly recommend the extra purchases. The whole process has been very amateur. No one will answer the phone, ever, they won't submit all of the required paperwork to the board, and they will give you misleading information about things like live scan. Being that this is the only thing that they do, you would think that they could actually do it correctly. They can't. All that, and, the phone number that they originally gave me was for an employee that had already quit, or been fired. I've been calling a defunct number, and no one bothered to tell me or call me back. I finally Google searched and found a different phone number than what was advertised and got a live person to actually call me back finally. So frustrating. So far it's great! I'm usually in this location now with instructor James. He's funny and entertaining each class. He's straight to the point with his teachings. There a lot of laughter and jokes as well. Located in the building with ample of parking except for certain classes like Saturday 9am. There's also plenty of street parking as well. DON'T PARK AT THE HOSPITAL OR ANY OTHER PLAZA. You will get towed. Yikes! Bought this thru Groupon for 149, which isn't bad for classes to obtain a license with certification. I was a bit hesitant because of the helper. I felt uneasy from how she rushed me to complete the Groupon and sign papers. I called a week ahead to ask if it was possible to attend one class and decide there. She assured me it was perfectly fine. When I arrived and spoke to the James, he didn't even mind. From day one when I started my course here at Nationwide I knew I made a good choice. The environment and the people here are terrific! The way the course is set up with homeworks and take home quizzes really help you keep track of your progress during the 3 months classes. Things have changed a bit over the course from when I started 3 plus months ago from a hand written white boring board to a powerpoint projector which is a plus btw. Wow! Who knew that a coupon on Amazon Local would yield such amazing results! I am so happy that I took advantage of the amazing deal for my real estate courses. They allow you to go at your own pace while still giving you a guideline on when courses should be completed. The books were on a loan out process so we never had to purchase any materials. Just turn it in when you are done with the 1st book and they give you your second book and so on. Griselda is amazing!! Any questions or concerns this is your go to person right here. Don was my instructor and he was awesome. I am sure they have amazing teachers lined up as the new students file in! I took notes and recorded at the same time because valuable information is being given while in the process of taking notes so just a heads up. You can also go on the youtube page and look up any classes you may have missed because the course is taught in one big loop. So no matter what week you start eventually you will get all of the courses completed. I recommend...make that strongly recommend the crash course!! Please sign up for this. The tip is to not get so concerned with what's in the book that you miss the questions! So the crash course gives you lots and lots of sample questions that you might see on the exam.
