I cannot be happier with my decision to go back to school, I could also not be any happier that I eventually decided on attending NDCI after corresponding with and touring half a dozen other LVN programs this side of LA/OC. I decided on the part time program though a full time program for Vocational Nursing is also avaliable, and CNA programs throughout the year. The cost is a bit less for tuition than most other programs in LA/OC area but that did not influence my choice to much it was the pass rate for NCLEX, and how when the D.O.N. described the program you could tell the school is specially geared around creating great nurses. The instructors at the school are extremely knowlgeable in their field of Nursing, and you can tell that they take a pride in passing along this knowledge and skill set. From the D.O.N. to the instructors one of their shared goals is to harbor a good learning environment at the school and clinical sites while making sure that we share laughs along the way. This school may look small compared to other big fancy looking schools- but the instructors are amazing, caring and full of knowledge. I completed the CNA program last year and waited for their next full time LVN program at NDCI because I knew this school was worth waiting for. I am a current student- I have now been enrolled in the LVN program for more than a month. I couldn't be happier. The DON, Ms. Felix, feels like a second mom to me- she is so kind, encouraging always greets you with a smile and she really does care. Mr. Roy will will keep you awake during theory, you will laugh, look forward to his class and you will leave understanding things rather than just memorizing and reading. I highly recommend this learning center. The instructors are amazing, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about their students' success. They explain concepts clearly and always take the time to answer questions whenever I need help. The learning environment is welcoming, supportive, and motivating, which makes studying much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this school and the 5 week Mon-Fri program if you are able to do it: When you do your clinical rotation you get to practice a lot more skills. This school is very well run and the instructors teach you the proper way to do your skills as a CNA. Our group learned so much during these 5 weeks and several got jobs by the time the class ended. If you are unable to do the Mon-Fri program the school has evening and weekend programs, also. The enrollment fee includes a lot of things that other programs do not, such as two pairs of scrubs, a transfer belt, and a stethoscope and blood pressure kit. Andre in the front office is very knowledgeable, and will help answer any questions you might have. Glad I made the choice to attend the 5 week program at NDCI in Cypress.Their state approved curriculum was easy to follow along and comprehend. Andre, the front office staff, makes the enrollment process so pleasantly smooth while Mary Grace, the CNA instructor is very patient and calming, no student left behind on her watch. So the first couple of weeks were spent in a classroom and skills lab setting where fundamentals and techniques are taught. The last few weeks were at a facility where we practiced clinical skills.The clinical portion of the program is where you really hone your craft while working with patients on a 1:1 basis. This school definitely helped me learn the tools necessary to pass the state exam (on the first try). I feel very confident and prepared moving into the roll of CNA! read more

I'm a current LVN student here at NDCI. The theory and clinical instructors are great. They will discuss the lessons and will explain them well. The instructors are friendly and approachable, and you can ask them questions about the lessons. They are more hands-on with their students, and I like that it's a personalized approach because they give their time to help the students learn better. Both theory and clinicals are fun and I learned a lot from attending them. I would add another review later on just to share more updates. I had a great experience at the Nurses Development Center. The course was not only informative but also incredibly well-organized. A special shout-out to Ms. Janelle, our instructor, who did a wonderful job guiding the entire class. My experience in the CNA program has been amazing at this school!! I came in shy and nervous but little did I know I would meet the coolest people. Friendships have been made within my classmates and even my instructor!! My instructor's name is Adam. This means I get more guidance from my instructor, which equates to higher academic success. I enjoyed taking the CNA course at NDC! The staff are really nice and accommodating. I took the daytime course online and the last week in person for practicals. My instructor was Mr. Adam, he is an amazing teacher! His teaching was clear, hands-on, and straight to the point. Let me start from the begining, I was bounced around from school to school until my very good friend and nursing instructor, Mr. Roy told me about this school. I admit I was skeptical at first but then I realized my dream had always been to help people. The months were gruelling and tiresome. I signed up as a part-time LVN student while working, and I can honestly say this school has been worth it. The instructors here are really great. NDCI is a great school if you're looking for classes that range from CNA to LVN. They are very accommodating and the staff is very supportive and understanding.
