I have been going to Rescue Squad CPR for ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications for many years, and I truly wouldn't go anywhere else. In 2016, I was returning to work after surgery and needed to renew my certifications, but financially I was struggling and couldn't afford the classes at the time. I called Rescue Squad CPR simply to find out how much the courses would cost. Tim Plummer, the owner and instructor, remembered me from a class I had taken with him about a year earlier. When Tim learned about my situation, he did something I have never forgotten: he personally paid for my certification classes so I could get what I needed to return to work. That act of kindness meant so much to me, especially during a difficult time in my life. It wasn't something he had to do, and it showed me the kind of person he is beyond being an excellent instructor. Nearly 10 years later, I still go to Tim at Rescue Squad CPR for all of my ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, and I will continue to do so. I took my ACLS course today and I was a little lost with the changes that were made in the training, and Tim was very generous to guide me through the training with the video, exam, and going over the course materials. Tim is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience under his belt. SUPER helpful, not confusing AT ALL, and actually... learned more here than my Advanced Med-Surg course in nursing school. I drove over an hour from Los Angeles just to be there, and I do not regret it at all. If you're worried about not passing the course or anything like that, just know that the course was made for you to pass. It's also helpful if you have already taken cardiac courses in school or anything like that. The prices are very fair here, unlike places in LA. Highly recommended!! GREAT CLASSES! Tim was exceptional and really knew what he was doing and teaching. He gave lots of stories so it made the class more bearable to sit through (it's the material). It was a great learning experience and he really broke down things we didn't get and went through things quickly if we already knew it, so no time was wasted.
