Veronica was very friendly and welcoming the second I walked through the door! I've been to many different places to get recertification but this has probably been my favorite. Veronica is by far the most friendly instructor I ever had. The training center is very warm and welcoming and not overbearing at the same time. Key points of each skill is emphasized appropriately to ensure when you need it during emergency you won't panic. Facility also is very clean and prepared professionally. I took my ACLS class here and I have nothing but good things to say. Logistics wise, this was the cheapest ACLS class I found online and they allow you to reschedule three times for free (w/in 24hrs). I had to reschedule mine twice so this was a great benefit. Parking was plenty. Coffee, tea, water and granola bars were provided. The place is clean! Veronica was the person manning the front today, and answering calls, and she was the nicest, and most welcoming person to me. As for the ACLS class, my instructor Jason (also goes by David) was soooo good at explaining everything. If I had a question about why things were a certain way or why AHA teaches it as such, he would explain it to me clearly. He also really, really helped me with my weaknesses in identifying the differences between certain heart blocks in ECG. Overall, would go back here for my renewals and possible future certifications. I was in search of a BLS CPR/AED class that was close to home, and that would fit into my schedule. I found this facility through AHA. They have classes almost every day of the week from 9:30-1:30 (But generally you actually finish around 1:00). I reserved a seat and registered via the AHA website, however I found that the AHA website doesn't really work all the time so I had to reregister in person and thank goodness they had more seats! The course is $50 and I recommend buying the CPR pamphlet for $13 because the test is open book if you do. The parking lot was spacious. The facility was smaller and cute. Upon arrival I was greeted by the instructor Veronica. They offer coffee/tea/water/and even granola bars! There were 3 other students, so it was a small intimate class. Veronica is WONDERFUL! She made the class very easy to understand and so much fun. She made sure we each get confident in our abilities and actually comprehended what we were learning. I received an eCard as well as an email containing my card. The great thing about the eCard is that it is accessible at any time and it does not need to be signed by the instructor. We were given free pens and tote bags. They also sell keychain mouth pieces for $4 just Incase you have a feeling that you may need it. read more
