I took the BLS course on a Friday morning. The class was mostly comprised of students already working in the health professions, so coming from the legal field I was a bit nervous thinking the material would be way over my head. But the course presenter Anita, who was assisted by Jameston (apologies for probably getting the name wrong), were very welcoming and 10 minutes in I was already feeling comfortable enough to ask my "novice" questions. From the start Anita and her assistant were engaging and very professional. The class was thorough and interactive. The very hands on with the training mannequins and AED made me feel more at ease with learning the steps for BSL. The facility is super clean with 2 restrooms, located in a nice business park in Irvine near the Spectrum. Front desk and other staff in the halls were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be taking my renewal class with CPR Lady training facility. Great experience. Sorry, I don't have any pictures. I had to take a CPR class for work and was lucky enough to be placed in John Little's class. He is the best instructor so full of knowledge and experience. He made the class fun by including jokes to keep us engaged. He used real life scenarios to stress the importance of the topics he was discussing. I've taken this class prior with a different instructor but I felt that I was leaving this class with soooo much more info. Instructor Anita was excellent today. Really enjoyed her expertise and how she taught the class. I love how the skills portion is done as a whole class. ***My reason for 3/5 stars is because when scheduling the class, they mention that you need a manual for the class. I purchased it for $25 and picked it up at the beginning of class today. However, I noticed a majority of the class had "loaner" manuals that said "Property of the CPR Lady" to be used in class only. This made me very upset. Had I known this was an option, I wouldn't have purchased one. Wish I could get a refund for the manual. read more

Renewed my license here and just as I remembered, very good class. Time efficient class, test was easy. Mannequins have censor lights to show that you're hitting depth and speed. John was funny and gave scenarios that made important parts stick to your head. E-card was sent to email within a couple hours on the same day. Love this class, will come back. read more

I had been doing research to find a place to get my BLS instructor certification. Some people say to do AHA, some say Red Cross. Eventually I'll be my Red Cross as well but decided to start with my AHA certification. Most schools were around the same price but the website and customer service were so great here when I inquired, so even though it was farther from me, this one seemed like a good fit. After signing up online, they were in constant contact about sending me my materials and what I needed and what to expect in the day of the class. They sent detailed directions and parking instructions as well. They're located in a plaza and the face a corner so it's easy to see when you pull in. There's plenty of parking, just make sure not to park in spaces that say reserved for certain businesses. The class started promptly and there was plenty of seating. The instructor was organized, and knowledgable, and all the staff there were so helpful. I came back a couple of weeks after to complete my course observation and received my card. They have a great number of resources for their instructors and want them to succeed. I'm so glad I found this place and recommend it to anyone looking to get certified as an instructor, or if you just need your cpr, bls, or any other certs.
