Do not go here if you value your time and value professionalism from service providers. I was cancelled on once because Tyler said that he was going out of town and when I rescheduled and arrived to the training 10minutes prior to the training start time the office was closed. So I waited till 5:58PM (training was scheduled for 6:00PM) and called Tyler to make sure the training will take place and he said that he was "running late because (he) left the key". He did not even bother to inform me about his tardiness before I called him. The CPR Squad office is located in an isolated back office and when he said that the training will be an individual training, I did not feel comfortable with this. So I said that I would like to cancel today's training and, instead, join a group lesson on another day. Tyler's response to this was "What's the logic in that?." He then continued to talk to me in an aggressive manner. (I'm so thankful I cancelled!!!) When a female customer says that she feels uncomfortable doing an individualized training at night time and prefers it to be a group lesson, the LOGICAL answer would be to be accommodating and provide an alternative training time with a group and not to become aggressive and yell at her. Tyler seriously lacks professionalism and, clearly, customer service is NOT his forte. I would not recommend this place to any one!!! read more

Has a great experience. Good instructor. The place where we did our class was noisy. Maybe the ac? Annoying.

Fantastic course! Tyler was an excellent teacher. I highly recommend this course to anyone that needs to get certified or renew their CPR certification. He has a great personality and makes this course fun. I enjoyed it. Thanks Tyler! read more

My husband and daughter are currently waiting outside a closed dark office for a class we scheduled over 2 weeks ago. I am calling, emailing, facebooking, and now I am "yelping".... I can't get in touch with anyone. They scheduled their day around being on time for this class which was supposed to start 20 minutes ago. Update: My husband had to make a phone call so he stayed until 6:45 for the class that was supposed to start at 6:00. Still no response from the business by phone, text, email, facebook messenger, and here. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before I scheduled. read more

I sent an employee there this morning for a 9:00AM CPR/First Aid class. My employee waited 20 minutes and no one showed up at the address listed for the class. Called the phone number several times with no answer. I already paid for this class, so what the heck? I guess I'll have to reverse the CC charges. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I was starting to think there wasnt a living thing on this planet that I could ever save. Goldfish in 3rd grade? Dead. Basil plant in the kitchen? Dead. Hamster for my kid brother? Super dead. So when my best friend asked if I could watch her 5 month old baby boy for a weekend, I thought, "This kid wont survive 20 minutes under my doomed watchful eye!" That's when a friend suggested I take the CPR classes from The CPR Squad. While they didnt teach me how to revive a goldfish, or bring my basil plant back to life, if this kid were to ever choke, ingest poison, or godforbid, drown, I can confidently say I would know exactly what to do. The CPR Squad has a GREAT training program. Very thorough, informative, and most importantly very affordable. From CPR, to first aid, to even recognizing cardiac arrest, they have it all. The instructors are kind and incredibly patient. My entire experience was positive and actually really fun! I mean, how often can you can say you've had "fun" taking a CPR class?? The CPR Squad takes pride in making this a memorable and enjoyable learning experience. I would highly recommend The CPR Squad to anyone and everyone. Accidents happen, and there's no better feeling than knowing you have the knowledge and ability to help save a life. And no, this does not mean I will babysit your kids for the weekend. read more

I needed to recertify my BLS for Healthcare Providers and I had been procrastinating for months. CPR training is not something I usually look forward to. Tyler was our instructor and he made the class enjoyable, informative, and taught in a way that would give any student confidence if they ever needed to use their CPR skills. He answered every question with professionalism, giving great examples and a few stories to help us understand how to apply it all in real life situations. I've taken many CPR courses, and many of them were people standing up in a room giving one horror story after another about emergency situations. Tyler got to the point, was excellent in the way he gave us the information, taught us some new things and it was an enjoyable afternoon. I feel more confident that I can use my CPR skills if I am the first one on scene. I would highly recommend this class and this company. Thanks CPR Squad! read more

5 Stars--this place IS as good as it gets!! As a nanny, ensuring the safety of the children I watch over is of the utmost importance. So as my business has grown, I decided it was time to take a CPR & First Aid class. Luckily for me, the CPR Squad was the first thing that popped up on my search engine. Not only is this place conveniently located right here in south Orange County, but the class itself was very comfortable and actually fun! Tyler was my instructor and he made the class fun and informative. I am a question asker and he gave us plenty of time to ask questions and answer them thoroughly. Also, he likes to keep the class interactive, which not only helped keep our attention, but ensured that we were actually really learning what we were being taught. Whether you are looking for certification in CPR and/or First Aid to fulfill a job requirement, are a healthcare provider looking to re-certify your BLS, or if you just want to know how to perform CPR and First Aid in case of emergencies, the CPR Squad is the right place to go. And you can't beat the prices either--they're the best I've seen out there. Thank you CPR Squad! read more

I let my cpr lapse and needed it to apply for a job. CPR Squad was there when I needed them. The price was very affordable compared to some others I've taken in recent years as well. It was an absolute treat to have Tyler, the instructor, for this typically tedious class. He made the class fly with his humor and fun learning environment. I'll be back in two years to recertify. read more

Owner is the one that teaches the class and he is great! Explains everything very well and thoroughly. Small class and lots of class times and days to choose from. Space is clean and well kept. Unit is a little hidden but the email you get after you sign up will show you exactly where the class is. read more

I had to certify first aid and cpr and my instructor was Tyler. He was a great and patient instructor. We had to practice on manicans and he did a great job at instructing the class. I will be back in a couple of years when I need to certify again. read more

I am currently a foster to adopt parent and had enrolled my mom in this CPR class so she would be able to babysit our son. My mom called me when she finished and let me know how amazing the class was, but more importantly how nice and engaging the owner was. He was a paramedic that decided to start his own business. I have so much respect for him. If you are looking for a really great class please enroll with the cpr squad! read more

I signed my daughter up for a 9 am morning class CPR/First Aid class. I chose "The CPR Squad", based on reviews, WHAT A MISTAKE! My daughter got there 15 minutes early per website, waited 20 minutes and no one showed up at the address listed for the class. Called the phone number several times with no answer. I would not recommend this business. Sign up at your own risk! read more

I highly recommend The CPR Squad! We are expecting our second child next month and wanted to brush up on our child/infant CPR skills. Tyler taught a class for us and a group of friends who are also expecting and/or have little ones at home. He was extremely knowledgeable and prepared for whatever questions we threw his way while making the class interactive and enjoyable. I definitely feel more prepared to act in an emergency situation after his class. read more

Not very good customer service. Needed some paperwork from them and they kept promising me it several times but never got to me.

I was so lucky to be able to work with Tyler on my BLS training with the CPR Squad! He answered all of my questions and was very helpful when it came to making plans for our meeting to do the CPR training! I had an appointment for the next day and my mother came to update herself too! We were excited to complete the CPR training in a little over 2 hours and we had basically a private training with him too!! He covered all that I needed to know and then some and was super approachable and friendly!! I would 100% recommend going to the CPR Squad for any of the classes they offer! read more

Very clear and helpful CPR course. Instructor was friendly, professional and engaging. Highly recommend.

The CPR Squad - Getting ready to start class! - CPR Classes Near Me - Lake Forest, California

I have a dental office and I will ONLY use the cpr squad for my team's training. They come out every year and train my staff. They are very accommodating, friendly, organized, and reasonably priced. I tried other companies before and with other companies my certificate was always delayed, and it was always difficult to schedule. I am extremely happy with this company and I have referred them to other doctors in the building. I have also referred them to friends and family who are having babies to teach cpr and basic safety for babies to expecting mothers. Everyone I have referred this company to has personally thanked me for the referral and has had a great experience!! Thank you CPR squad for always providing such incredible service! read more

I needed CPR certification for work and I called CPR Squad. Tyler Laughter was great! Very informative and made it so interesting, fun,and easy to learn. What an awesome experience! I'm a fitness instructor and needed CPR before getting recertified and since I'm new to the area I didn't really know where to go for CPR classes. All the reviews pointed to the CPR Squad so I gave them a call and from the very first phone call, they were extremely professional, responsive, informative and really nice so I signed up and even managed to get my boyfriend to sign up with me. Tyler came to our house and brought all the equipment. He went through everything with us and made it a really interactive, informative and fun experience. I have been CPR certified many times in the past but I managed to learn a lot from Tyler that I never got out of previous courses. I think in part it was due to the non-intimidating environment (as traditional classes are full of strangers and now you want to put my mouth on a dummy in front of everyone-type thing) but it was mostly due to Tyler and his style of teaching and his personality. It's an excellent thing for everyone to know and my boyfriend was very glad he took it with me because he had a near death choking experience a few years ago and thank goodness someone in the crowd knew the Heimlich maneuver so now he feels like he will be prepared in the event that someone needs his assistance with CPR or the Heimlich maneuver. Thanks so much to Tyler and the CPR Squad! Oh, just a side note... if you call their office and no one answers, leave a message. I called a few times without getting an answer but shortly after I left a message, I got a call back from Tyler. read more
