This is the second time I've been to this location. The first time was for a battery for an iPhone, and this time was for a laptop that wasn't working. When they change the battery, it was done with an hours and at a reasonable price. I brought the laptop in on Thursday and Friday. It was back in my possession. I feel very strongly to be writing a review. Do not come here. I was here a month ago to fix my laptop screen and phone screen. Not only was it hundreds of more dollars than It should've been; here I am 4 weeks later and my laptop and phone just broke completely on the same day with no way to fix them. got my phone fixed here, after repairs it had a green tint and the screen will randomly turn completely red or blue, or flat out not work, Ill press buttons and it wont respond and Ill try to text and itll start typing random things. I figured Id just put up with it until I could get a new phone, until today when I dropped my phone from two feet off the ground and it completely shattered. Don't waste your money here!!! read more

Disclosure: I did not ever actually pay for any services here, but this review is solely based on the pricing to fix iPhone screens. I walked in recently to ask for an estimate on my cracked iPhone 12 Pro screen since this is the first time it ever happened to me. The guy proceeded to take a look at my phone and tell me it will cost me $450. I contacted the Apple store in Roosevelt field mall and I got my screen fixed for $279. It's clear this spot tried to take advantage of me. I do not recommend this place. read more

This location breaks devices. Stay Away. On Saturday 2/24/2024 I vistied the Ifixscreens, Oceanside, NY 11572. My daughters 6th gen Ipad screen was seperating from the body on one side and wanted to get it fixed for her birthday. So the worker stated he could glue it and would take two hours. I paid $30 dollars and when I picked up I was told the battery was swolen so that is why the screen seperated but the glue would definetly hold not to use for 24 hours. After waiting 24 hours the screen was now seperated from the body on 3 sides and the Home button no longer worked. In addition the glue was coming out of all the seams. Furious I want back to the store on Monday 2/26/2024 and a different worker said he would have to keep it for several days and he would have to speak with the other employees about the home button issue. I explained that it was working fine before you guys touched it. Not caring about my concerns and he would not put me in touch with a manager, I was afraid to leave it there because they already broke it. I then had to get aggrivated and argue with the worker for my money back. I requested a manager call me and never heard from them. read more

I called them first about replacing my iPhone XR screen and was on a time crunch and the guy said if i came within the hour it would be 30-45 minutes. I told him i'd be there in 20, he said no problem. I got there within the time we had discussed (15 minutes to be exact) and he tells me 3-4 hours. My jaw dropped and explained to him that we literally just had a conversation about this, and he said "sorry people came in before you." He was not nice or apologetic about it either. Why would you ever promise 30 minutes if there's that possibility? Whatever needed the phone fixed so it had to be done. They called my husband when it was ready and he tells him "she really should try to get here now." This was at 2pm when they closed at 6, and I heard him telling the guy in front of me when I dropped it off that he can pick it up anytime before they close at 6pm once it's ready. I get to the shop to pick it up and the chip on my card sometimes takes a bit to register and he hastily snatches the card and says "INSERT IT!!!" with an attitude. AH just thinking about this place gives me PTSD come to think of it. Anyway here's the kicker, I get the phone everything appears fine and about 3 days later I started having problems with the screen recognizing touch. Now, a month later it literally does not work. The last time I needed this service done I went to UBreakIFix in RVC and had a very pleasant experience, not to mention it was $60 cheaper! Unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays. I need my phone for work so had no choice, so i was at their liberty. I think this shop takes advantage of that vulnerability and I do NOT recommend. read more

I spent $250 to have my screen fixed, and the job was done so poorly a month later my phone stopped working (No service at all out of no where). Samsung took the phone apart and showed me literally where everything was put back in such a sloppy manner that that caused the phone to stop working, screws were missing, the cable that connected the SIM to the phone was loose which caused my no service. Anyway, my suggestion would be to go to an authorized repair center who will charge you the same if not less and will keep your phone in warranty, unlike bringing it here and voiding your warranty. Came here to get my iPhone screen fixed years ago and had a great experience. I forget the name of the nice guy who helped me but he fixed my screen in less than an hour and was super nice about it and it worked fine after. I went back about a month ago to get the same service done for my current iPhone since I had a great experience last time, but the guy working this time just did not express the same positive attitude and I felt like we were bothering him. There was probably three hours till they closed which I guess was not enough time for the guy who was working and I understand that. I asked if there was anyway possible I could get it before they closed and he said he could try but it was not likely so I left my phone there and picked it up the next day because he never called to tell me whether or not it was ready by the time they closed. Anyways my new screen this time requires me to press harder to swipe things like when I try to fast forward or hide a FaceTime,, not like the smooth touch I had before so I guess keep that in mind. read more

These folks are truly amazing. They fixed my Sons ipad Air 2 that would not charge. My son is particularly rough with portable technology and the power connection went bad after about 5000 times him aggressively pulling the power cord in and out. With the high prices of iPads nowadays, purchasing a new one would not be financially favorable with the mark up these days so took a chance it can be fixed and viola' it was fixed in a timely manner and at a very reasonable rate. Stay away! I recently got my IPad screen replaced by Ifix screens in Oceanside. They replaced the screen but the home screen button was never the same after it was returned. After a couple of weeks of use the home screen button was off track so I brought the iPad back to get it repaired. They fixed the button as good as they could but it still was not anything like it should have been. I used the iPad for a couple of days after i picked it up and I was never able to charge the iPad again. I brought it to him once again and the tech said it was unrepairable and there is nothing they could do. I was never able to power the iPad again and it is a useless device right now. I would not trust this shop with any repairs. read more

Wish I never went here. They not only give a really bad aftermarket screen for replacement, but they didn't even install it right and it resulted in me paying hundreds for a new phone. LOOK ELSEWHERE! The beginning of my experience seemed good. I was in and out in 5 minutes with dropping off my phone, and my phone was ready a few hours later. They initially offered me 2 types of screen replacement (which is weird. There should only be 1). The first option was a $129 average screen, and the other was like a $175 better screen. I took the $129 average screen. Well, it was some crappy aftermarket that looked horrible. But that wasn't the worse part. I noticed my navi and my touch screen wasn't working well and thought I needed some update or something. I then took off my case and saw the entire left side of my screen sticking up!!! It wasn't even replaced properly! What the heck!! I call, which now I am home in Florida), and some kid on the phone tells me my battery is probably bad. What?! I ask to speak to a manager, and he tells me I will have to email him my address, and mail my phone back to his shop to be fixed. His email address is incorrect and now I cant get anyone back on phone. I had to go to Apple and be told they damaged my phone. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! read more

This place is great. I have never been there before so I went in with an open mind. For my boyfriend's birthday I wanted to get his laptop fixed. It's been broken for longer than a year. It has the white screen of death and an LCD crack (the wonderful worker explained to me). They had to order a new screen and they gave me the option to take it home and wait for the part or just leave it when them. I trusted my gut and trusted them and left it there (I get nervous about those things). A week later the gentleman calls me telling me it's ready to be picked up and when I show up they started it up for me and showed me it was fixed. Price wise, this place is great. Other places wanted to charge me $200+ where he only wanted $160. read more

When the phone fell on a CARPET this weekend, I did not expect the screen to again shatter, but it did. When I asked for a discount on another replacement, they offered nothing. I frantically walked in with a broken (wouldn't turn on) iPhone five minutes before the store was closing on a Saturday evening. The gentleman was cleaning up to close up shop and was glad to help. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my phone and was willing to fix it on the spot as I waited. This is a poorly run shop. I brought in a laptop for a screen repair. After 2 weeks of not hearing from them I called and they said they would get right back to me. Without hearing from them, I called back a day later and they informed me that they actually lost (or "misplaced") my computer! When they finally found it, they said it would be a while to fix because they were "busy" and still could not get to it. Now it has been over 6 weeks and they still have NOT bothered to fix my computer screen!!! They do not return phone calls or seem particularly bothered to help their customers. Unfortunately I have broken my screen far too many times. I have successfully gotten my screen fixed multiple times at other stores before, but the experience I had here was horrendous. I dropped my phone off for what should be a routine screen fix but upon returning I was told my phone was now not really broken, more than just the glass. Basically I brought my phone there to get fixed, and they broke it further. On top of that, the only thing they did for me was say "Sorry". Could care less. Even though they eventually fixed the screen they ruined my tablet! It took almost a month for them to fix the screen. Kept promising the parts would be in soon. When I finally got it back, the tablet could only access wifi if I was right next to my router. I didn't have that problem before they had it. When I took it back they were going to charge me again to look at it and claimed they didn't break it. They were always polite but I payed over $150 for them to break something that wasn't wrong and now the tablet is useless. read more

Do NOT bring your phone here. If you are looking for your cracked screen to be repaired, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you are looking for your phone to be broken by the employees that work here, then by all means, bring your phone here. I brought my phone in to have the screen repaired. I had to return in person 3 times because the screen was lifting off the phone after they "repaired" it. During one of these trips I was charged AGAIN for this "repair" even though they claim their work is "warrantied". I should never have paid them again but had no choice at the time b/c my phone was not functional and due to them "repairing" the phone, my phone's warranty was now void. You would think this is enough of a headache, but it doesn't end here. Shortly after being charged twice, I had to bring my phone in again due to my phone not working because of all the times the screen had lifted off of my device, the insides were now damaged and the phone is completely dysfunctional. The employee gave me the address of some other business in Suffolk County that could "maybe" repair my phone that THIS LOCATION BROKE. There was no way that I was driving to another county to pay someone else (again) to fix my phone that another business broke. So I did my research and returned back to this location and demanded that they repair my phone, under their warranty, because they were the ones who broke it. The employee said I was right and they would send the phone out to the same Suffolk location that they had tried to make me go to on my own. Very sneaky! I was promised to have the phone back within 2-3 days. Well, today is day 8 and needless to say, I still do not have my phone back and no one is able to give me a straight answer as to what the hold up is. 4 days ago (Tuesday), the excuse was that they were closed for 3 days because of the snowstorm. I called again on Wednesday and was told that they are closed on Wednesdays. I asked the employee on the phone to have the owner call me that day, he said ok that he'd call me later. Today is Friday, still no phone, still no phone call from the owner, still no refund, still no answers. I called again today and was told that the owner cannot call me because he doesn't speak English. How wonderful! Maybe that was information that should have been told to me earlier, like when I was instructed to meet him at this location 8 days ago (I left work to meet with him, he wasn't there. The employee who was there, claimed to be the Manager, knew nothing about the fact that the owner was supposed to be meeting with me. He said the owner never comes here and no one told him anything about this situation) I am completely appalled and at loss for words.
