The car was in good shape but they did find a few suggestions to upgrade the ride and safety, such as old tires were starting to dry rot, and breaks needed maintenance. The owner (I presume) asked me why I thought the brakes might be bad, and didn't patronize me with my answers, which I find happens a lot in mechanics shops.
