My friend ordered a tea and he laughed that it came in what looked like a science beaker LOL. Prices are pretty standard for a more hipster coffee joint (i.e. not cheap)...12$ for the coffee and tea. But it's the quality and the experience. [Ambience] Very quiet. Lots of people studying. We were the only ones talking and I felt really bad because of it. Music is soft. Decorations are very earthy and calming and light. [Service] Very friendly and know what they're doing! [Parking] Some street parking, but I parked in the parking structure on 222 N. Aside from a great location with easy parking (free 90 minutes in the nearby lot), Ideology also offers food, Wifi, power outlets, good hours (they close at 9pm), friendly proprietors, and a comfortable and relaxing work and social environment. At the moment, Ideology is brand new and undiscovered, but it won't remain quiet for long. My only hope is that I'm able to take full advantage before the word gets out (not likely). read more

Went with a friend to look for a place where we could do our homework and study for finals. She suggested that we try this place out. Looking at the yelp page I can see that this place is really new. First things first, there is no parking. You have your option of street parking or sneakily parking in the restaurant on the other corner of the street. The inside is pretty nice. Definitely an Instagram worthy place. Wasn't sure what I wanted and the lady in the front recommended that if I was looking for some tea that they actually have choices that i could smell. I love that they do this. Ended up getting a iced matcha green tea. The tea wasn't the best that I had and it seas too milky for my taste. Seating area is pretty nice but I feel that it was made for appearance and not comfort. The chairs on for the tall tables didn't have backs to them so it was kinda uncomfortable. This was a very cute spot to study and do some work. The baristas are really nice. I got the matcha latte with oat milk, I liked it a lot but it wasn't really as amazing as I would've wanted it to be. There was some clumping on the bottom but it wasn't that much. I did really like how they use real matcha though since not a lot of coffee shops do. Parking could be tricky but I recommend just parking in the back by Orange. They have 90 minutes free! read more

actually so upsetting that my usual go-to coffee spot does not value their customers enough when approached with an issue. my office ordered some drinks from here yesterday, two of us have milk allergies and always turn to almond/oat milk substitutes. this has never been an issue in the past however, yesterday after the first sip we both noticed a different taste and brought it to the barista's attention. we spoke to Amy who questioned how we knew the incorrect milk was used and said that we were wrong as the barista assured the use of the correct milk. needless to say, we both experienced horrible stomach issues later that afternoon through the night as a result of the whole milk that was used by mistake. understandably, we did not intend to point fingers and accuse them of the mistake as mistakes do happen. however being accused of lying about the milk that is in my regular go to coffee order is ridiculous. as regular customers, we are quite familiar with the taste and the aftermath of our orders and we respect those in customer service and understand that often places get busy and there are mix ups. Amy assured us that it was a slow morning with not too many orders which makes it seem like they had the ability to be more careful when preparing our beverages. overall, this experience was disappointing and was mishandled. being accused of lying about our orders is strange... nonetheless if you have milk allergies please be cautious :) read more
