If you're looking for a business mailbox, I caution you against Mail Station!…read more I signed up for a box with them in January 2024. At the time, customer service was great and I was really happy to be a customer. For a long time, I got my mail and had no issues. (Though I did often have package slips but no package) Then, in February of 2026, I got very sick, resulting in a hospital stay and major surgery. Once I got out of the hospital, I realized my payment to Mail Station hadn't come out of my business account. I called multiple times. No answer, so I left a message with my name and number explaining that I had been in the hospital, but I wanted to bring my account current if possible. I wasn't able to even walk at the time, so I couldn't go in. I never got a response. I assumed I'd changed the card on file and that my account was current, as I never heard anything. That was my mistake. In June 2026, I am finally physically functional again. I go in to check my mailbox and notice the mail inside isn't for me. I approach the counter and say, "I think my mailbox has been reassigned." They confirmed it had. I ask "Why, was I delinquent in payment?" The older man and the young woman behind the counter look me up in the system, but said they didn't know why my box was reassigned. I asked where my mail was. They didn't know that either. They asked if I had been out of town for a bit. I explained I was in the hospital getting surgery and hadn't been able to come in. I explained that'd I'd called Mail Station, and even left a detailed message with no response. They said, "Oh. Wow. Well, we don't know." So: - Mail Station closed my account without any attempt to contact me. No calls, no emails. If payment is the reason for the closure, I would've happily taken care of my account if I'd been contacted. As it stands, no one can confirm why my account was closed. - Mail Station reassigned my box without asking for the key back or changing the lock on the mailbox. This gave me access to another business' mail. That's not cool for the other business owner. I wish I remembered their name so I could let them know. - Mail Station lost, threw away, returned, or otherwise misplaced my mail but couldn't tell me anything about it. - Mail Station didn't attempt to in any way resolve the issue and I barely got an apology. They didn't even ask for the key back--I volunteered it as I never want to do business with them again and it's super unethical for me to have access to another business' mail. If you value your mail, which I assume you do since you're looking to rent a box, Mail Station is NOT your best option.

It was a little bit of a rude reply, but it didn't bother me. I waited for him to go through two more customers when he finally asked me how he could help me. I told him I needed a fingerprint scan for a specific license. He said he didn't know what form to give me and he couldn't help me. That conversation took about 10 seconds and it could've happened when I walked in the door, not after waiting there for over 15 minutes. That really pissed me off. I do wish they would have let me seen my photo prior and asked if I wanted to retake as I absolutely hated the one photo they took. And when I had my photo taken at Staples before they took a bunch and let me choose and then even redid them for me. The place is kind of tricky to get to just because of its location off of Balboa before it turns into garnett. And I don't think they have their own designated parking lot. I think we parked just in a public parking lot or it might have been the old Bank parking lot. I'm not sure but we were fine there for 15 minutes. The price was pretty good as well. I think I paid around $25 for the two photos. I recommend this place if you want quick and efficient.

I had a scheduled appointment, but she was nice enough to go ahead and do my fingerprinting. I was grateful! She was very nice! Professional and very personable. I shouldn't have bothered her by asking questions as she was concentrating to get the best prints possible when prints didn't click the first time, but she answered my questions and didn't show any frustration. Everything ended well! Diana started my day off very well! I especially appreciate the fact that she did my LiveScan right away and did not make me wait. This hasn't always been the case at other offices when the person doing the prints was not busy and I arrived early. Diana was great!

I said, "could not book their advertised same-day Live Scan online." I called the number provided on the website to ask a question about navigating the website NOT for a "Live Scan 24-hour service." You said: "The phone number is answered after hours strictly for genuine emergency notary needs." Please direct me to where your website tells customers that the phone number is for emergency notary needs only after hours, because I did not see this. Also, what is "after hours" for a business that is listed as "open 24 hours?" Can you see why a new customer may be confused or not understand the business model? They did have good availability if you need something done quickly. Their rates are reasonable compared to the other notary services. Many major banks now have their own notary service that they provide to customers for free. Which is what I've been using recently. But if I had to pay for notary service, this is definitely a pretty good option.

I live about an hour away and had to arrange my day so I could take my parents to have notary done. She said I could drive to another location an hour and half later. My parents didn't want to wait to go to another location even though it was just the other side of town. Not sure if this was mistake but we now have to get another card and out the $ that was paid for this and past the renewal expiration date. I'm sure the services here are great otherwise and they are open on weekends but for anyone in our same situation, do yourself a favor and just get the prints done at Chula Vista PD or SD Sherriff's office. I don't doubt the services here are 4-5 for anyone requiring what they offer, but unfortunately our experience was 3 stars for being told that this was an authorized location and made sure to mention it was for FL CCW.
