The logo and the front of the tea place!

The drinks were amazing, the service was great, and it was a very cute, calm, and chill place!

Boba

From the second I walked in I knew this place was trouble. It stank like booty cheeks on a Thursday afternoon. Someone must've not flushed the toilet. Secondly I ordered the Peach Milk Tea with boba and let me just say hit dog water tastes better. The taste was so bland and flat it was like drinking muddy water, I know I'm gonna blow up my toilet tonight. Once again is stinks like ass the second you walk in.

Apparently dogs are allowed?...as I'm allergic it's very inconvenient for me, and in general this is unsanitary!!Guess I have to find a new place to get boba!

Awesome place. I'm a sucker for tea, love the tea milk drinks! I asked the super friendly girl working the counter about their drinks because I had never been before. She explained everything to me! Which is awesome, and I usually always ask staff what they like and go from there. So I ordered the same drink she recommended and picked a boba flavor. They have all sorts of snacks, and I have my eye on the Vietnamese egg-rolls. Because those are the best egg-rolls around! It's a great local shop and I will be returning most definitely. I mean the drinks are awesome, and the staff is well trained! Great experience!

First off I would like to start by saying that we have been coming here with our family since Ictea opened. I have raved about them after only having one other business specializing in these drinks. Today was not the same experience that I've had in the past. Today my husband and I got two drinks his was orange watermelon slush and I got a mango passion fruit green tea..... Might I add that these drinks filled up another punch card of ours for a free drink next time. Anyways I was stirring my drink because this time the jellies were skimpy and I wanted to get as many in the straw as possible. As I'm swirling there is a lovely thick black hair floating in my jellies. GROSS ! First off I am pregnant and was craving this drink all day and drove 15 minutes to get it ALL for this to happen. Fine, we are down the street at Best Buy so we decided to just drive back and let them know about it. My husband goes in to inform the staff and he is told pretty much "how do we know it wasn't your hair and blah blah blah" my husband has blindfish brown hair and since when were hairs just falling through straws of boba drinks ? My husband asks for new jellies (which seemed to be against policy and was came as an inconvenience for asking) BUT he actually changed the jellies for him. We were told most people call and again never once were we apologized to. I've never been made to feel like a product I PAID FOR being messed up was my fault. TO TOP THIS OFF MY SECOND DRINK WITH A DIFFERNT JELLY HAD BLACK SPECKS FLOATING IN IT ! Customer service was HORRIBLE and it's safe to say that ICTEA has lost faithful customers not due to error but due to the poor handling of the actual correction of the error. I'm so irritated and I'm just glad it wasn't my child drinking the drink this time !

Glad to see Wichita have more options for Boba. I've heard this place is solid so I had to give it a try while I was in town. The establishment is very clean and in a nice area. The gentleman that made our drinks was very welcoming and even let us sample a few things. They have plenty of seating and even have a couple of flat screen TVs. I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with Boba. The flavor of the matcha milk tea was on point and the boba was alright. The texture of the boba is a little harder than what I'm used to. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again and try their other drinks/desserts.

Love this place. I just discovered it a few months ago and I've been back several times since. Boba drinks:Milk tea, coffee drinks, & smoothies. Everything I've tried so far has been great. Approx $4 a drink, smoothies are a little more. I've tried both their raspberry milk tea, & their Mango milk tea, as well as their Vietnamese iced coffee with coffee jellies and blueberry boba (extra boba flavor $.50 more) and have been extremely happy. They also carry a few food items that I haven't tried. Clean store, fast service, delicious drinks, & friendly staff. Will gladly be back. I also like that they have a punch card program. I think 10th punch is a free drink, and you get 1 additional punch for paying cash on orders $10+.

I visited this place when it first opened and saw that there was grass jelly on the menu and wanted to try it, however, the owner had asked me what is it supposed to taste like and he was not sure if they would keep that on the menu. This was somewhat disappointing since I was excited to see an Asian dessert finally served in town. I settled for a milk tea with egg pudding, it tasted too sweet and I was not sure if I was going to return after that first visit since I am not a fan of overly sweet drinks. I visited ICTea the past month with my sister since she wanted to try it out and I thought I should give this place another shot since it has been some time since I last tried it. I searched the menu and found that grass jelly did not make the cut, however they offered a variety of other popping boba and jellies that look really interesting and fun to try. My sister ordered a Thai tea with boba jelly and I opted for a taro milk tea with egg pudding. I sampled some of my sister's Thai tea and it was pretty good and just the right amount of sweetness and not overly sweet as I last remembered it. I chose the taro and egg pudding since a friend of mine recommended that combination. I was unsure initially regarding how I felt about my drink, but after several more sips I was a fan. This combination reminds me of the little taro jelly snacks that comes in a larger container jars that I used to love when I was younger, it very nostalgic for me since it tastes almost identical. ICTea also offers a selection of food, but I have yet to try it. It does, however, look promising since the food looked appetizing from what I saw on another customer's table The décor was very bright and modern, and the restaurant appears nice and clean. They also offer discounts on certain days with ID for military and students, as well as providing a punch card where the customer is able to receive a free drink after their tenth purchase. Overall, it is a nice place to grab the beloved boba drinks. I believe that since it is fairly new, it will improve with time. Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Drinks: 4/5

Wow! I think I just found a new boba place in town that I'm 100% obsessed with. I didn't have time to try their 50% off specials in June because I was working up in my college town, but I stopped by right away on the way home. The interior was very clean and I like the layout of the store. Of course, since it was my first time, one of the employee explained to me how it works. They have a HUGE variety of toppings asides from the classic boba. I didn't know what was the egg pudding so she offered me some. It was very interesting and reminded me of my home country, Vietnam. To keep it classy, I just went with my basic milk tea, adding in boba, egg pudding and lychee jellies. Literally, those jellies are my all-time favorites! The drink has a special taste, it's a little different from Boba Zone (the other popular boba place), and other places that I've tried. It's AMAZING!! After finishing my first drink, I went back and tried the Taro tea this time, but just with lychee jelly. The regular/one-size cup is very tall = bigger portion = totally worth my money! So far, that's my go-to whenever I stop by, which has been every other days now. I try my best not to drive across town for it but it's just too addicting! I also bought the mango smoothie with mixed jellies and a strawberry smoothie plain for my parents, and they very much enjoyed the taste. My parents are picky people, so seeing that they've agreed to the taste made me extra happy. My sister and I love love LOVE the place, and the workers are very friendly. Just talking about it make me crave it even more now

They have the best Thai tea in town! The flavor beats Boba Zone and Thai Bistro hands down.

This is probably the best boba in Wichita. It doesn't taste as artificial like the other stores In town. I recommend the Honeydew milk tea.

They have an excellent…read moretopping and foam menu that lets you build and customize your drink with more options than most in town, although beginners should probably start with one of the drinks listed because it can get overwhelming. You can request sweetness level, which I always do, because I find most milk teas a bit too sweet. They also appear to serve bubble waffles in various forms and a few other dessert options, but we haven't tried them yet, although I'm looking forward to it. The service has always been professional, if a bit hands-off. The shop is a cheery, clean, yellow and white-painted space with big windows, the hipster neon sign that comes standard in boba places for selfies, plants and modern chairs, couches and standard tables for hanging out with friends. A tv was on in the corner, but it was on mute. I've been to most, if not all of the boba places in town, and Joy tea is very high on my list. If I'm ever way the heck out east for some reason, I'll always hit it up, and you should too!

The strawberry shaved ice was recommended by the friendly cashier who gave us really good recommendations on the desserts and drinks here. She gave us a raffle ticket to enter into their raffle for a boba plushie or two free drinks. She said they draw every week for a prize! How amazing! The drinks were very good, you can still taste the tea and it's wasn't super sweet either to mask the tea. It was perfect ratio of tea and strawberry and pineapple. Do yourself a favor a come here!

I live in an Asian shaved ice desert. Perhaps that's why I'm already super enthusiastic when I…read moretravel and find some. Simply the gratitude of it being present in middle America sets me up to have a good experience. Someone complained in a review about the "false advertisement" of having shaved ice as most Americans know it. It's hilarious to be that they assumed it to be what they know as shaved ice. If they had tried the Asian shaved ice, I guarantee they'd enjoy it and wouldn't have complained. If you know about other culture's shaved ice, you're open to try new things and let yourself be surprised. I digress. The shaved ice found here is the Korean version, Bingsu. It's very similar to other styles, but this one is mostly milk based. The menu is pretty extensive, including smoothies, yogurt, juice, coffee, boba tea, and of course shaved ice cream. We came for the shaved ice cream, so we tried the strawberry & mango first. It mixed the two, which surprised me since I had assumed it would be half and half separated. The combination worked beautifully. There was whipped cream, strawberry and mango syrup on top and we asked for mango popping boba. It was so delicious! The best way I can describe it is a feathery texture that melts in your mouth. We also tried the coconut one which came with condensed milk and coconut shavings. We also added strawberry popping boba. Highly recommend either/bob. Since the consistency is light and fluffy, even though the portions are generous, you don't feel stuffed afterwards. The place is spacious and has tall ceiling, making it very open. There's seating available on both floors. I enjoyed the Korean music playing and the tv translating the lyrics. The volume was just right (as opposed to some reviews out there complaining it was too loud). I probably wouldn't try to make calls inside though. The guy at the counter was super nice. He kept smiling really big the whole time he talked to us. Made me smile too. He also told us about the Korean cheesecake they have for sale. It looked delicious and fluffy so I got the coffee one. It was more of a sponge cake than cheesecake but it was delicious. Highly recommend.
