I had the mad spicy steak bowl with noodles instead of rice. So yummy. Mike had the chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice as his base. The chicken was very tender (I stole a bite). Super yummy as well. Our DIL had the mad spicy orange chicken bowl and said it was great but she wanted a bit more spice with it. Our son said he loved the teriyaki steak bowl and commented on how easy and convenient the packaging made it for him to take either his leftovers or just a brand new bowl to work - and couldn't wait to go back as this restaurant is very close to their home. The restaurant is not big, but there is seating inside. It was clean, again staff was friendly and helpful. We did notice that the food was a bit pricier than we had expected - after looking at the receipt we realized oh, they didn't ask us what size of bowls we wanted so they defaulted to larges for all of us. So, definitely pay attention to adding what size of bowl (junior, regular, or large) you want when you order!!

There is great parking, nice natural light. It's clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu has many choices for breakfast and lunch. I went with steak and eggs. Very happy with my choice and it also included sides of hashbrowns and pancakes. I enjoyed their fresh squeezed orange juice also. The prices are reasonable. I had scrambled eggs and they were light and fluffy and tender. The steak was cooked exactly how I had requested and was tender and flavorful. The hashbrowns were perfect. There's one of their small advantage. They open early. So if you are an early riser and want a great breakfast, come here.

Food - always great. Service - always great…read more Greeting & seating - always great. Noise level - awful. Noise here is bad on a good day but add a screaming toddler in the restaurant and it becomes nerve-shredding. Management REALLY needs to consider doing something to stifle the noise. Several older people have told me they like the food but can't hear anything while there, so choose elsewhere. HomeGrown has plenty of business but it would sure be nice if noise was not such an issue. Otherwise, 5 stars

We loved the mimosas, and our server was wonderful! I also didn't realize they had a little room for celebrations, which was such a nice surprise. My only complaint was the reservation process. I called several days in advance and had a hard time getting someone to answer. I wanted an 11 a.m. reservation, but by the time I finally reached someone on Sunday, we could only get in at 12:30. Brunch ended at 2, and while there was still food available, a lot of the buffet trays looked nearly empty when we arrived. That was disappointing, especially after trying to reserve an earlier time.
