This is what I got for $7
Nancy H.

Update - after 1 more time (to redeem my free drink that I've earned), I will stop coming here. *Reason 1- their reward program sucks. I have to spend over $70 just to get a free medium drink. (A few times their scanner wasn't working so I had to pay with my card and not the app). Used to get $5 off every $25 reload. **Reason 2- they're supposed to give you a discount when you use your own cup. I only got it a couple of times out of 10+ times. ***Reason 3- I use the same size reusable cup as their large. I always buy a large. So this morning I got 1/2 of my cup (with a big whipped cream on top, it still didn't even touch my cup lid). And I paid almost $7 for it. I'm looking for a new coffee shop. I'm tired of spending $50-70 a week for coffee. I was contacted by a manager and she apologized for the new gal. She even bought me a drink there. I'm glad they took the time and efforts to win back a loyal customer. Update - I've been coming to this place for a few years now. I always get the same thing - large mocha expresso blender with an extra shot. I get it a few times a week so most employees there know me. They start making my drink as soon as I pull up. Yesterday, I stopped by to get my usual. The new gal didn't know so I placed my order, paid and waited. She was making my drink and came back asked me what size. I said large. After awhile she came back and gave me my drink. It was a medium. I told her I ordered a large and it was clearly not the right size. She insisted that was a large. I really don't care about the money but why couldn't she just own up to her mistake? One bad experience will cost you your long time customer. I'm waiting to hear back from someone on how to get my refund from the prepaid card. I'm sure some other coffee shops will be happy to take my money and I'm sure their coffee is as good if not better. So I finally decided to try a muffin today. I got the chocolate chocolate chip muffin. It was ok - not that good. I think Dillons has better muffin. It was a little dry. I didn't know they were going to warm it up. I like mine room-temp but oh well. Update - so I decided to try their fruit smoothie today. I ordered a peach smoothie. A medium costed almost $6. By the time I got to my office, which is less than 4 minutes away, the drink had a peachy clear fluid at the bottom & the white-peachy foam was on top. I felt like I was drink sugary fruit juice. Also I couldn't taste the peach either. That was a huge disappointment. I guess I'll just stick with the mocha espresso blenders.

This just opened today, great coffee and smoothies. I really like the one on the west side and glad to see there is one on the east side now!

Ordered a large mocha no foam. Once the foam went down I realized the cup was half filled with coffee.

Great coffee and the line is always shorter than Starbucks. Price isn't much different than Starbucks, unfortunately!

This place is great. It has that nice hometown coffee shop feel, with excellent conversation!

I love the Coop in Derby and this new location is an excellent addition to the family. With three…read morefloors of cozy, eclectic tables and nooks with big old windows, it's the perfect place for a small group, board gaming or quiet study. It has a tidy, cute shop space with local meat, bakery goods, gluten free options, art, soap and other goodies just like its parent shop. Decor is white and black and tastefully simple. Food-wise, we enjoyed our drinks (iced caramel apple chai with boba and a Café au lait) and baked goods while we sat on the sunporch playing Uno. (See the business owner's note about the cool game room below this review.) I see that they have soup, burritos and flights of drinks and I definitely want to hit that up next time. Service was great; there was one lady running the shop on this rainy Saturday and she was very friendly and helpful, greeting us cheerily when we entered the shop and bringing our drinks to us on the second floor later. The Google page says that the shop has wheelchair access but I admit I didn't see it--perhaps there are other entrances with a ramp, but none that are immediately noticeable, This is an old Victorian house with most of the seating on the second and third floors with steep staircases, but there is a table and limited bar seating on the first floor. It's probably not the greatest place for handicapped folks, but it's a lovely shop and I hope all feel welcome. Hi
