Ive always came here because it's close, cheaper than the other Boba places and they always finish making my order before I finish paying. I've always ordered it the same and the staff have been nice, but I am not sure if she (a staff member) is new or just has never been there when I go. She was incredibly rude and had an attitude, I asked for a Coffee Latte with Boba iced, and that's always how i've ordered it and the staff would make it, but instead she said if I meant something else with an attitude very loud for everyone to hear, then she gave me back my card with an attitude. I hope she's fired or learns to not be rude or give attitude to customers read more

Surprising solid bubble tea place! The inside of the establishment has the appearance of a pretty average coffee shop/bubble tea shop. What I had: Chai Bubble Tea: had a strong chai flavor, but wasn't too sweet, which was something I was expecting it to be. The boba was well cooked, not too tough and not too soft. The boba was a little chewy and had a nice sweetness to them. Overall, definitely pleasantly pleased with this place, and would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some decent bubble tea! read more

Since it was my first time here, I inquired into the house blend coffee, expecting good things. I had tried numerous boba places where they served exception house coffee. She did not only explain to me but was also extremely curt and rude. She said I couldn't do add-on for hot drinks, and appeared flabbergasted when I asked about iced option for espresso-based drinks, looking as if I had just grown two heads . I have never encountered such unprofessional customer services. It's unfortunate that I was planning to try other flavors at this place. Now, I don't feel comfortable going back. Second time I've showed up around 10:30am and traditional boba is not ready/made... if you open at 10am and claim it takes an hour to make the traditional boba and you claim to get in an hour before open it should be ready. I will be going else where from now on. I just thought I would give them a second chance but it's a no go for me. I could have sworn up and down that Boba Zone was no longer in business due to their jacked-up location on Google Maps, but I finally found them in that shopping center on the northeast corner of 21st and Rock, and from the looks of it, the only Boba cafe in town is doing pretty well for themselves. It's like a coffee shop, except you can get smoothies along with your teas, coffees, and other what-have-yous. There's a daunting amount of options available for your drink, though I do prefer a nice avocado smoothie. Adding boba also gives me something to chew on to prevent me from sucking it down too fast, though I wonder if a sugary drink ever really needs any more extra carbs. This is not an area of my expertise, so I'll say the avocado smoothie had that soy milk-y vaguely avocado-y flavor that I actually prefer to the heavy suffocating gut bomb that is a milkshake. The boba here is amazing. I've been to almost every boba place in my area and nothing beats this one. My recommended boba to try is the peppermint tea one if you've never been. They have a good selection of flavors and every time I've been, the staff has been pretty nice. read more

First of all, if you don't like boba, you're a monster. I've been to boba zone long ago in the past. I'm not a native of Kansas so I've only actually had boba zone about 3x in my life (when I visit). I ordered a lavender/jasmine (I can't even remember) milk tea with HALF SUGAR and less ice. I think the employee might have forgotten, and I didn't taste my drink til I got to the car, but while it was good milk tea, it tasted like it was honestly 120% sugar! SOOOO SWEET!!! :( Since the milk tea was honestly really good, I don't believe they deserve anything lower than 4 stars. Hopefully it was just a mistake, and not truly what they think "half sugar" tastes like. Regardless, keep it up, Boba Zone. Everyone deserves to know what boba is. This is the best place in the city. I've gone to every other places and now I frequent this place. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and best of all, the drinks are prepared deliciously the same every single time. The place is neat and clean with tables for you to mingle. I'm a food critic and believe me, their drinks are excellent. I won't go anywhere else. I'm addicted. I can only say it's awesome if it's done by two girls 1-taller Asian and a Spanish girl who's usually at the cashier. They are really awesome. I have given this place multiple chances and I am fed up. a couple weeks ago I went in at around 9:30 and their door was wide open, when I went in they said "sorry we are closed". This is my go-to place for boba drinks. They have so many options to choose from and you can customize your drink with their different toppings however you like for a little extra. I usually get the honeydew milk tea with boba (so good!!!). I'll be trying their lavender milk tea and smoothies next! The place is so cute for chilling out as well. At this point the cashier asked if I meant to order an iced mocha, at which point I had to show her where on the menu it said you could order what I wanted. Decent boba here. The best part is how cheaaaap the drinks are (this is great for students on a budget, like me hehe). The tea is a little on the sweet side so I would be careful. They have a decent amount of toppings for an additional $0.59, but like I've said, the prices are dirt cheap for boba drinks so the addition is not much at all. The large drink is super filling, and they also have a small size if you're just looking for something to quench your palate. My favorite flavor is the banana milk tea -- something I have never seen at other boba places. It tastes like banana milk if that's your jam. The 2 young ladies working here were extremely nice and offered suggestions since we've never had it before. Being California and New York, I was astonished to find an institution solely-dedicated to bubble tea in Wichita - I knew I had to try it! At Boba Zone, there is a fair selection of smoothies, juice teas, milk teas, coffee, and specialty drinks. I got the boba milk tea ($2.49), which is the classic black milk tea with boba. Although I asked for half sweetener, the drink was still pretty sweet, but with some pleasant roasted notes. The bubbles were chewy, almost bordering on hard, and had a strange aftertaste. I think the smoothies at Boba Zone are probably better than the milk tea drinks, from other Yelp reviews.
