Was in Wichita and wanted a Matcha Latte and found this spot on yelp. The Matcha latte was ok. The flavor was light. But my wife really enjoyed her avocado durian smoothie. She said it was rich and had a great durian flavor. Definitely a nice spot with a lot of drinks on the menu. Just skip the Matcha Latte and try the other drinks. read more

Came out of our way to try a new boba spot and they were out of boba lol. We were excited because the drinks seemed original we got the cookie butter matcha with Oatmilk and boba and my husband got the Vietnamese expresso with Boba. We waited around for them to make more boba for our drinks for about 15 min and I will say the boba was perfect. Perfect chewyness, sweetness and taste. My matcha drinks was good, I wish it was a little sweeter but that is easily fixable. My husbands drink was very strong but he liked it. The vibe is quaint and many good picture spots I do suggest checking it out but be prepared to wait for your boba. read more

This place has great milk teas. The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. My friend and I tried their winter melon and jasmine oolong milk teas, both of which were great. I've never had a jasmine oolong before but it tasted exactly as I hoped it would. The inside was very nicely decorated and I loved the big boba cup out front. Lots of opportunities for pics. I got the avocado durian smoothie which was reallly good but wish they blended it instead of just adding durian at the bottom of the drink. The decor is super cute and into the season with the holiday drinks and decorations. Love it. Only complaint was that it took about 30 mins or so to get my two drinks.. too long of a wait for drinks. read more

Cute little spot! Wichita is getting so many different options for Boba and Fruit Tea drinks. I like how each place has different signature styles. So far I've had their Wintermelon Fruit Tea which is light and refreshing. Hubs had the Vietnamese Coffee and he thought it was just OK. I also had their Avocado & Durian which I really liked, too, but it seems like the durian was just at the top of of the drink. Next time I'll be sure to just get Durian only. read more

I really love this tea place and their tea. I tried their original and their black sugar boba tea and they are both good. I did ask for half sweetness and it was just right. Very rich tea flavor and just different from your normal milk tea. Their boba is super good. Soft and chewy. The macaroons were good. Unique flavors like mango and mint chocolate chip. I love the atmosphere as well and the super nice staff. I have tried boba tea all over the world and is impressed with this quaint place. Definitely try it read more

Definitely would recommend trying their signature Thai Green Tea if you're a matcha lover. They add their homemade green creme jelly, which I haven't found anywhere else in Wichita. One of my main go to is the Peach Fruit Tea with crystal boba. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing, but kind of small. On busy days there is limited seatings. Currently they seem to be only serving drinks, and on occasions would have little pastries in the cabinet by the register. Update: they are now offering reward cards, and they are the cutest thing I have ever seen. The stamp are bobas. You need to earn 10 bobas in order to get one free medium drink. read more

Since my first visit, Leaf Teahouse has really improved and is honestly my favorite boba spot in Wichita now. Nearly everyone agreed that during opening their drinks were a little too sweet, but it seems that they have adjusted the recipes for their drinks since then. The drinks are really yummy now (just sweet enough) and their boba is always the perfect consistency - soft, chewy, warm, and DELICIOUS! I've been back several times and haven't been disappointed with anything I got. Their No.1 Leaf's Special-Tea and Avocado & Durian smoothie are my favorites! read more

The #1 house special drink is so great! It's sweet, but you can still taste the tea, plus it has the chewy pudding as well as boba and I like that. I imagine you can specify your sugar and ice level, but I'm not positive. Definitely ask if it's something you care about! Along with the boba drinks, they also have a few assorted unique pastries and sweets in a case, but they can go fast and are usually sparse when we get there in the evenings. There can be a line on weekends and in the evening, but service is always polite and the line is a good sign, I think. Plan on waiting a bit for your drink if there is a line. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's Insta-ready in a way some big shops are but most little boba places in town aren't and it's super cute and welcoming. They have restrooms available, a couple small tables, window bar seating and a sofa or two, but it's a small space and I feel those are seats more for waiting for your drink rather than staying, although you can totally stay and relax. (There's definitely no big group seating here though.) We usually grab our drinks and head out. In conclusion, and full disclosure here, I still haven't had many of their other drinks, but I'm told they're great. Personally, I'll drive from northwest Wichita just for the #1, and getting myself out of the house and across town for a $5 drink is probably the highest rating I can give. Lol. Pro tip: Once you have your drink, definitely pop in to XingXing next door for dinner, snack or lunch! So good. read more

This place used to be amazing and would make the Best black sugar boba (their special). However, it hasn't been consistent and has been a hit and miss lately. They have been opened for a while and i would assume they would've been more organized however, they are not. The girl that takes my order every time is not the BEST person to work the counter in my opinion and the last time i went, they had my drink wrong twice and kept making the wrong one even after giving them my receipt. It seems that leaf is ran by children. I would rate it 2 stars right now but about two months ago, it would have been 4 stars. so i will average it out and give them 3. read more

My second rule is if it's an ice cream shop or a bakery or a breakfast / lunch spot.... the score goes down because the coffee is usually and afterthought. Well this place broke all of the rules.... BOTH THE BAKERY IS EPIC AND THE COFFEE IS EVEN BETTER! The only thing I didn't like is there is just so much pride stuff. I get it - I'm from the FL keys which used to be one of the main places for LGBT communities (back in the day it was only LGBT). Key West / San Fran and Province Town - those were the only true open communities. But now it's nationwide and it's actually world wide for the most part. From my viewpoints LGB is 100% just part of society and we don't have much flag waiving in the keys because nobody cares - we are all just one big family. It didn't take away from the expense it was just a little too forward.

It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!
