Came out of our way to try a new boba spot and they were out of boba lol. We were excited because the drinks seemed original we got the cookie butter matcha with Oatmilk and boba and my husband got the Vietnamese expresso with Boba. We waited around for them to make more boba for our drinks for about 15 min and I will say the boba was perfect. Perfect chewyness, sweetness and taste. My matcha drinks was good, I wish it was a little sweeter but that is easily fixable. My husbands drink was very strong but he liked it. This place has great milk teas. The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. My friend and I tried their winter melon and jasmine oolong milk teas, both of which were great. Cute little spot! Wichita is getting so many different options for Boba and Fruit Tea drinks. I like how each place has different signature styles. So far I've had their Wintermelon Fruit Tea which is light and refreshing. Hubs had the Vietnamese Coffee and he thought it was just OK. I also had their Avocado & Durian which I really liked, too, but it seems like the durian was just at the top of of the drink. Next time I'll be sure to just get Durian only. read more

Definitely would recommend trying their signature Thai Green Tea if you're a matcha lover. They add their homemade green creme jelly, which I haven't found anywhere else in Wichita. One of my main go to is the Peach Fruit Tea with crystal boba. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing, but kind of small. On busy days there is limited seatings. Currently they seem to be only serving drinks, and on occasions would have little pastries in the cabinet by the register. Update: they are now offering reward cards, and they are the cutest thing I have ever seen. The stamp are bobas. You need to earn 10 bobas in order to get one free medium drink. read more

I really love this tea place and their tea. I tried their original and their black sugar boba tea and they are both good. I did ask for half sweetness and it was just right. Very rich tea flavor and just different from your normal milk tea. Their boba is super good. Soft and chewy. The macaroons were good. Unique flavors like mango and mint chocolate chip. Since my first visit, Leaf Teahouse has really improved and is honestly my favorite boba spot in Wichita now. Nearly everyone agreed that during opening their drinks were a little too sweet, but it seems that they have adjusted the recipes for their drinks since then. The drinks are really yummy now (just sweet enough) and their boba is always the perfect consistency - soft, chewy, warm, and DELICIOUS! The #1 house special drink is so great! It's sweet, but you can still taste the tea, plus it has the chewy pudding as well as boba and I like that. I imagine you can specify your sugar and ice level, but I'm not positive. Definitely ask if it's something you care about! Along with the boba drinks, they also have a few assorted unique pastries and sweets in a case, but they can go fast and are usually sparse when we get there in the evenings. There can be a line on weekends and in the evening, but service is always polite and the line is a good sign, I think. Plan on waiting a bit for your drink if there is a line. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's Insta-ready in a way some big shops are but most little boba places in town aren't and it's super cute and welcoming. They have restrooms available, a couple small tables, window bar seating and a sofa or two, but it's a small space and I feel those are seats more for waiting for your drink rather than staying, although you can totally stay and relax. (There's definitely no big group seating here though.) We usually grab our drinks and head out. In conclusion, and full disclosure here, I still haven't had many of their other drinks, but I'm told they're great. Personally, I'll drive from northwest Wichita just for the #1, and getting myself out of the house and across town for a $5 drink is probably the highest rating I can give. Lol. Pro tip: Once you have your drink, definitely pop in to XingXing next door for dinner, snack or lunch! So good. read more

This place used to be amazing and would make the Best black sugar boba (their special). However, it hasn't been consistent and has been a hit and miss lately. They have been opened for a while and i would assume they would've been more organized however, they are not. The girl that takes my order every time is not the BEST person to work the counter in my opinion and the last time i went, they had my drink wrong twice and kept making the wrong one even after giving them my receipt.
