The store was jam packed with shoppers galore and seemed to be a pretty happening place. The staff were friendly and there was a large variety of comic books to peruse. The kiddos like the young reader book section (great choices for graphic novels). I didn't realize they bought and sold books here as well. A highlight of this location is the life-size Doctor Who Tardis. While this isn't our local comic book store, it's always fun to check out another Comic Book store and see what's new! Two Thumbs Up!

Danica is a kind of "comic whisperer," with a great talent for suggesting titles you'll love based on other things you've liked. She's introduced me to so many great books. Brandon is also fantastic. I've absolutely had the experience of getting ignored when shopping for comics, and the personal attention Danica and Brandon give to all their customers is really fantastic. I stopped in here briefly to check it out and did not stay as long as I wanted, or else I would have ended up going down the proverbial rabbit hole.

Beautiful location with lots of room & plenty of free street parking, too. We made the trip out today to pick up Batman fidget spinners for a birthday party this weekend - great price and in a case! Our little guy picked out a couple funkopops today ( huge selection) and the hubs of course picked up some comics. We even got an acrylic case to wall mount his favourite comic. The owner, Bodhi, was there today. Super knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the various gaming options. I had never heard of it before so I decided to pop-up to the second floor and check it out. It shares the space with Shades of Grey Tattoos. The owner or manager started chatting with me as I looked around. He mentioned that the Tattoo shop already had some comic back issues and toys but he has come in to run a bigger comic/collectible store in half the space. It looked like things were still getting set -up so I am assuming this part of the shop is still quite new. Because they share the space it is a much smaller shop than many other comic/collectible places but it still is pretty cool. They have a great selection of vintage toys and he also showed me some certified comics worth between $2500-$8500 each! If you keep a file you get a discount, the more books you by, the more uyou save (up to 25% off cover price) also regular sales and promotions make each trip exciting beyond your new reads. I'm not into gaming but it is also quite a hotbed for gaming activity. With regularly scheduled campaigns played instore it can be a very interactive enviroment. I can see myself returning whenever I need to buy a special gift for a special someone. As a matter of fact, I did already. I got my mother a glass touch lamp with owls on it. She loves it and uses it as a night light for when she needs to get up in the pee hours. You know what I mean. They've got many themed collectables besides just Bradford. There's Disney, Night Before Christmas, Elvis, Classic cars, Betty Boop and other collectables I don't know how to name but recognize all the same. The prices are sometimes high, but we are talking about collectables. I collect dragons, and not only did they have a nice selection, but I found them to be fairly priced. I've paid more at other stores. The owner is a sweetheart. She likes to chat, but she's not intrusive. She doesn't hover. Honestly, I'm going to shop there whenever I need a gift, because I want to see this place stick around. I recommend you at least check it out. I have likely walked by this store many times and never walked in until recently. Each section is organized for a theme, including Elvis, Betty Boop, dolls, Christmas ornaments, t-shirts, and more. We were asked if we needed help but we were just browsing and the staff left us alone after. Prices of the items can be a little pricey but they offer unique items that you likely can't find in the mall. This is a great little store to find a gift for an unique person!
