I walk in and was told me to put on hand sanitizer, I said I can't I am allergic - their response.."then don't touch anything in our store!" Next, told me to put on a mask, i said i can't, medically exempt... then I was immediately asked to leave because of mask refusal and they don't care about my disability and was escorted out of the store. Absolutely rude as hell.. I will NEVER shop here again!!! People with allergies and disabilities deserve respect! The way I was treated was absolutely disgusting.

I pre-ordered a couple games and was assured that I would get a phone call when they came in. No call. At all. When I finally went in, was told that I must have ordered from the mall location. Uhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure I'd remember what location I ordered the games at. Anyways, no record of my order, no refund for my deposit and they even sold my game!!!!! The female manager talks way too much and I don't like always being upsold crap I don't want every time I go there. When did EB Games become a commission retailer? A 2 minute trip to that location always has me there for more than 20 minutes as they ramble on and on and on pushing more junk at you. I watched one staff member sit on his cell phone as I searched for a game and was offered no help looking for it until I went to the till and asked. I'll keep my business at WalMart and Best Buy. EB Games used to be a great company. Now they're annoying and pushy. I also don't feel that when you buy a "new" game, you're charged full price for a copy they had to open to display. I believe that would label it as "used" from that point. False advertising. Watch out for that. And there is just no getting away from that ever annoying SURVEY they always stuff down your throat at the end of the transaction. Even some of the employees look ashamed to mention it. Save your time and use Kijiji or a larger retailer for your game hunt.

But it's not because it's first come first serve so if you pack up all these clothes and someone beats you there? Also you are limited to how much you can bring.. so if you have 3 totes and want to spend the day of their convenience, they say sorry we only take one. Need to be back that same day to pick up the money or it's store credit. Nope they can't figure out etransfer or really anything convenient. I was told at one location I could only bring one tote yet anything under 75$ is store credit.. absurd. Inconvenient. I'd rather donate these beautifully kept clothes and items to someone who needs it than get next to nothing and have to drive back and forth with the amount they can take that day, to have to be back in time to actually get the cash. There were at least 10 - 12 in the box. There was no acknowledgement just telling us it would be full price and asking if we wanted it. It was tagged at a certain price it should have been adjusted as the scanning code of practice states. When i said that i was ignored and asked if there would be anything else. When I said it should be the price it is tagged at, they rang my son through and I was told to have a good day. That is not right. It was tagged at a certain price with multiple of the same item in the box. If that is how Indigo operates I will not shop here any more.

This Chapters is tucked away within Sherwood Park and seems to be popular with locals and those of us here on business looking for a place to hang out during our free time. The book selection is decent and the magazine section is generous. There's also a coffee shop attached and a good selection of stationary, journals, and gifts.

Well it's two weeks later and I've used the controller twice so I figure I'll return it and was denied. "In store credit only my manager says" (while the manager hides in the back). I get that it's a store policy but a couple things worth mentioning. 1) No return on opened hardware equates to "all sales final". 2) Don't tell people they can return things unless you detail the policy. 3) If your going to take a hard line on such a antiquated policy at least have the guts to come and speak to me. 4) Don't tell me "we can't sell it as new", obviously you can't but that is a business cost and doesn't matter to me whatsoever. Anyway, the guy was good about it for having to enforce such a idiotic policy. I learned my lesson, big box or online. Good by brick and mortar.

Had to wait half an hour for one person to trade in his games and other consoles then decide on a game to get. You can find old games in their bins, newer games on the wall racks according to console. Accessories are available for controllers or just customizing your console which is cool and unique. They have a few Board games but I found some to be not worth the price and found better sales in Toys'r'us website with in-store. You can bring your games or old consoles here to trade in but just beware the value is greatly depreciated and resold for higher like a car. But if you need in-store credit money fast that would be the option, there is no cash just in store credit for trade ins. Parking is cramped at the front due to stores nearby. I believe they still do midnight game preorders but it's not worth it nowadays with digital downloading. Recommended for video game shopping or gifts for gamers.
