Nerds Galore! This place is filled with sci-fi collectables, from toys, board games, cards, comics…read moreand a few cosplay costumes. Next door is where you gather with random people and play card tournaments such as magic the gathering and etc. This place seems to have a decent price for their board games with plentiful of comics. Their models/action figures are quite pricey. Staff is friendly, parking is extremely cramped even around the building. Haven't checked if they have washrooms but the layout was quite sufficient. You may need to squeeze in-between people while browsing in-store due to the small space inside. But either than that, yup i'd buy board games here. Only problem is the location, exiting can be a hassle if your driving. Recommended for guys with spectacles, or just for browsing.

Hello True Believers,…read more Comic Fever in North Central Edmonton is an awesome little comic shop. My favorite attribute is the incentives! If you keep a file you get a discount, the more books you by, the more uyou save (up to 25% off cover price) also regular sales and promotions make each trip exciting beyond your new reads. I'm not into gaming but it is also quite a hotbed for gaming activity. With regularly scheduled campaigns played instore it can be a very interactive enviroment. Talk to Lee, he is the owner/operator and a really good guy to deal with

This place is terrific. Geek heaven. Great selection of single issues and trades, and huge boxes of…read moreold archival stuff. A large gaming area for tabletop games. Tons of tempting action figures and sculptures. Books on creating comics. The staff are always helpful and willing to assist me in finding anything I can't quite place or remember. The negative reviews I've read here seem to expect some kind of big-box-store phony PR campaign from the staff. I think they are mistaking people who are naturally shy or introverted (typical comic book readers?) with being unfriendly or unwilling to help. When I've taken the time to engage with the guys who work here I've had nothing but great experiences, digging through crates to find a certain story arc with my favorite characters, getting recommendations based on other things I've enjoyed, having variant covers set aside until they're ready to go on sale, etc. I'm always greeted by someone at either door when I walk in, and even though they know me by now they always ask if they can help me find anything. I don't know what people are expecting. Complimentary tiramisu? Overall this place is a great regular stop if you're a comic book, tabletop or action figure/memorabilia collector and I strongly disagree with reviews stating that the customer service is lukewarm. If you're comfortable in any other hobbyist shop you'll be comfortable here.

Frankly I find this store overly crowded and not terribly friendly. As a woman who happens to be…read moreinterested in comic books, general geeky things, and games, I find it to be exceedingly important that there be good sight lines in a store of this variety and I find it confusing and hard to navigate as a store location. It really could lead to some uncomfortable encounters with staff or patrons simply because of the layout of the store. In addition I was there with a tall person recently and the items hanging from the ceiling hit his head. This is not good in general. It's a very disorganized clutter-filled store. And feels unusually crowded even when not many people are in there. I would much rather patronize other similar stores in Edmonton that do not have quite such a cluttered/unsafe aesthetic. It also took us a LONG time to find a staff member to help us in searching for a comic we were seeking (it was unavailable). It's good that this part of town has comics/games/etc. options for shopping but I really wish that it were more of a friendly place to shop, especially for people who are new to particular hobbies.

I'm not much for book reading but if something catches my eye I tend to buy it. A great place to find a selection of books but if you want a definite answer for a specific book at location just check it through their website. Website: http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/ I find it very useful. They also added a section for unique gift shopping like mugs, bento lunchbox, & etc. A section for children books which is great for the easter season. Accessories such as book-markers are handy. Atmosphere is like a library but fresh books ready to be bought, staff is friendly, & parking is large. Starbucks is connected to the store which is quite nice. Recommended for anyone looking for a book or just a browse.

We just parked at the back and walked around. The book we were getting signed was displayed right after walking in. There was confusion which way the line was going to pay though. The line when straight back but then it hit a book shelf and people lined up on either side of it. For busy times, it would be great to know where to stand. The layout isn't ideal with the shelves forming a V instead of horizontal lines. Even though the layout isn't great, the store is big and has lots of selection. They had children activities going on and it was great to see staff there and families doing crafts. The book signing line was along the wall by the Starbucks. People would cross to access the magazine area but it wasn't a major inconvenience for everyone. The staff were good to make sure we paid for our book and asked for our names for the book to be personalized. Someone offered to take our photo with the author which was a nice touch. I didn't browse much but did see to the side of the cash area is the stationary and gift area. A great addition to the strip mall but not a place I would frequent on busy weekends.

I came in looking for some Naruto and Cowboy Bebop merch and left more than satisfied. They've also got a wide array of table-top gaming gear here too, if you're into that stuff. The manager is really friendly, as well. He saw me taking a picture of their life-size Batman statue and suggested I get in the picture and let him take it (much to my embarrassment). A real hidden gem in Millwoods Town Centre. Nerds of South Edmonton, don't miss out!

Every time I go, I discover a new series and wind up spending way more money than I intended. They have a table set up to the side where people are often playing what I believe is dungeons and dragons? Magic? I don't know, those are my best guesses haha. The staff members are always really helpful and friendly. They also leave me alone while I'm shopping which I appreciate. When I'm picking books I like to take my time and not be bugged. My only criticism (and before you read this I want you to know that I'm aware this is such a stupid thing to complain about haha) is that they are always discussing the newest episodes/movies of things I like and I hear so many spoilers! Like I said, that's kind of a silly thing to complain about but it bugs me!

There were at least 10 - 12 in the box. There was no acknowledgement just telling us it would be full price and asking if we wanted it. It was tagged at a certain price it should have been adjusted as the scanning code of practice states. When i said that i was ignored and asked if there would be anything else. When I said it should be the price it is tagged at, they rang my son through and I was told to have a good day. That is not right. It was tagged at a certain price with multiple of the same item in the box. If that is how Indigo operates I will not shop here any more.
