Nerds Galore! This place is filled with sci-fi collectables, from toys, board games, cards, comics and a few cosplay costumes. Next door is where you gather with random people and play card tournaments such as magic the gathering and etc. This place seems to have a decent price for their board games with plentiful of comics. Their models/action figures are quite pricey. Staff is friendly, parking is extremely cramped even around the building. Haven't checked if they have washrooms but the layout was quite sufficient. You may need to squeeze in-between people while browsing in-store due to the small space inside. But either than that, yup i'd buy board games here. Only problem is the location, exiting can be a hassle if your driving. Recommended for guys with spectacles, or just for browsing. read more

I love this place! I come here almost every week! My comics are racked up from this shop, the best one in Edmonton! I come here because my favorite is getting the comics and Pokémon cards. I stack through the comics trying to buy the perfect types. I have bought a few deck protectors today. I went today and bought a Pokémon trainer kit, a Pokémon card pack, and two comics, "Inhumanity Indestructible Hulk" from 2013 and a captain marvel one. The staff is very friendly even on my first days of standing around looking for the perfect Pokémon cards, they ask if I need help. Ask for help, best thing to do in a collectible store. I honestly suggest going to store if you're a fanboy of stuff like this, it's like a dream! read more

LOVE this place. Super convenient and knowledgeable! If you're coming in for MTG singles I recommend bringing in a list of the expansions and their rarity to help the staff pull things more easily for you! Otherwise visit their webstore and they will have them shipped to whatever location is easiest for your pick up. read more

Warp 1, 2 or 3: Doesn't matter which one, if you are into comics, they got them... If you're into Trading Card Games, they got them... If you're into D&D, they got them... If you're into AD&D, they got them... I play Magic: The Gathering, and I buy my cards here..they also buy cards...& comics... I have seen a whole whack of memorabilia at the 3 stores, and would be very interested if I was a collector... read more

This is one of our favourite spots to stop and pick up some new board games every couple of months. If you have any questions, the staff is generally very friendly and can answer you or point you in the right direction. They have a pretty good selection, and I don't just mean for board games. If you're looking for comic books or graphic novels? They have hundreds and hundreds to choose from! Do you need new Magic! the Gathering cards? They have those, too. They have scheduled nights during the week where you can get together with other people to play games or trade cards - You would be surprised the community that is built around board games and comics! The only downfall is the store is so small, so if they are busy, it can be difficult to navigate around the store. Definitely check out Warp 2 the next time you're looking for a new game or graphic novel! read more

Not impressed with this store. The vibe is terrible. Unless you are a regular you get the glares of unacceptance. Tough to get the cashiers attention to pay as they were too busy socializing. Over priced, terrible parking and within days of new releases either sold out of jacked up the price. If you know nothing about comics and are just buying a gift its probably got what you want. If you are looking for a regular comic store, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

These guys have a huge selection of comics and all types of board and role-playing games and supplies. I've been in here with my boyfriend because he's a bit of a gamer geek. The staff is younger and extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of gaming. My guy is into Dungeons & Dragons, and he likes the large selection of books here and how they are displayed: not just book binding facing out, but all of the books are set up on the shelf cover-out, so you can see the artwork on them and it's much more fun to shop and browse. This is also the best place to get D&D figures, which you're normally forced to buy in boxes that are randomized, so you don't know what figures you're getting. At Warp 2, they sell them individually with prices based on their rarity. Also, if you're new to gaming and don't have people to play with, you can come to the store and be part of the group that plays there. Love this place! Warp 2 is a fan boys/girls wet-dream. The atmosphere in this store is great from the minute you walk in. Tonnes of comics, role-playing games, t-shirts, toys, nic nacs, posters, figurines,magazines, you name it. You can spend a lot of time just browsing around in here because they have so much neat and interesting stuff. The staff in Warp 2 are quite knowledgeable(by osmosis probably, because once a fanboy starts talking about his obsession they will talk your ear off about it) and enthusiastic in dealing with customers. This is also a great place to go if you are a fan of the "super hero" movies, or looking to buy a gift for someone who is, as they will have almost everything you are looking for. I recently got into magic and being a girl I just really wanted to find an atmosphere that wasn't intimidating with tournaments where I could hone my skills, and Warp 2 was everything I could ask for and more. Warp 2 has a huge selection of cards, games, and comics, that will have you wandering for hours. The comics are put into plastic (which the shop keeper would gladly rip off for you if you needed a quick look) which keeps them in pristine condition. The shelves are a such that have the cover facing you so you can see and immediately find what you're looking for. The Magic cards are bought and sold at fantastic prices and are only beat by actual trades. The staff is friendly and will take the time to learn your name if you become a repeat customer. Comics, games, cards or memorabilia, you'll find it all here. A true nerd's paradise. read more

Awesome little shop that is a treat to the north side of Edmonton. The staff is pretty quiet and mostly keep to themselves, but usually don't mind helping you out if you ask. The prices aren't that different than any other comic book shop in town, and I really appreciate the cartoon collectables they stock. Only difficulty is the parking, which I don't think they can really control but it does make for a hard trip during busy weekends. read more

They have a large selection. However the prices are ridiculous. 5 bucks for a cheap collectable that u can get at a simple store for 2 bucks. The comics/manga on sale are old and outdated. They have a good selection of pop vinyls but they are pricy. The animes available are old. Basically this store is good if you have a manga/ comic book collection and you want to find the older ones. Idk. The employees are kinda rude. Like when ur done and u wanna leave and pay, they are talking to someone else and they won't stop to help you even tho they can see you. They'll help you but they won't even talk to you, they'll just keep talking with the other people. The store creaks and it's so close spaced, and i don't recommend bringing a backpack or anything big. Honestly it feels like you're gonna knock something over. read more

Warp has the best selection in Edmonton, & nice staff. Except for one dude who is a complete jerk. Seems very unhappy and attitudes are contagious he's been condescending to me & my girlfriend quite a few times... always as he rings through my purchases he should find a new job instead on tainting this comic store as I think it is Edmontons best. read more

This is perhaps the worst comic, collectible, and game store I have ever been too. The parking is terrible especially during events at the store. However, this isn't my biggest issue. I am big into trading and buying MTG cards. This store has a wide selection which is good. However, their prices are outrageously over priced. Cards that I buy at other stores or online are about 50-75% cheaper than here. For example I was going to buy a "Eight-and-a-Half-Tails here but saw the price of $15. No way was I paying that. I went to a different comic store in the city and purchased the same card for $6. And this isn't just a one card incident. Almost all of their cards are priced this way. Now despite their prices being so high; if you want to trade in cards they give you a measly little sum of what it's worth. Most stores will give you 50-75% of the cards value for trade in (not cash). But, Warp 2 will give you 25-40% of it's value. Considering the mark up of their cards I would expect a better price. Now despite their horrible pricing system the customer service isn't very good either. Their employees are lazy, not helpful, and don't have as much knowledge compared to other stores. If you want to see something out of the case you will surely get a grumble from the employee. Most of the time they will just be on their phones so heaven forbid you make them work. If you ask a question that could easily be answered such as "how much are your fat packs?" They won't hesitate to tell you they don't know. Then you have to ask them to check because they surely won't do it without being asked. All in all I think this store needs some revamp for it's prices and it's employees. Theres always this awsome guy there that lets me pay in pennies(but i dont only if i halfto) im only 12 so its hard to get money.
