We had such a bad experience with exceptionally rude receptionists and "upselling" at larger companies (ServPro) just trying to get an estimate for mold and water damage, so it was refreshing to work with Ansony. We noticed mold and water damage in a corner of our home and Ansony was able to come out to give an estimate shortly after we called. After a few weeks of us dealing with insurance, we noticed some additional damage elsewhere in the home. We reached back out to Damage Squad once we had things squared away with insurance to have them check out the additional damage and they came the next day to reevaluate and update their estimate. The changes were very reasonable--Ansony understood our budget and made it very clear what was necessary to address (i.e., mold) versus what could wait (i.e, more cosmetic things). So we signed the contract that day. Damage Squad came the next morning. Incredible. It's hard to find someone you feel like you can trust for home improvement, but Ansony clearly knows what he's doing and I never felt like he was trying to "upsell" or overcharge us. I felt like he genuinely made decisions and recommendations as if our home was his home, and he and his team treated it as such. I usually only go for providers with many reviews, but my gut said go with Ansony, and I'm so glad we did. Would 110% recommend Damage Squad.

His crew cleaned the entire area around our home when they were done. The finished work looked great.  John was on site when the work began and when it was finished to follow up with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. It definitely was!  We enjoyed working with John and would definitely recommend Mid Atlantic as an excellent company. John even replaced a few boards in our back deck that we had requested during his initial roof inspection and estimation. Soon after the roof was installed there continued to be leaking into my home. I called and emailed them numerous times before they responded and finally the came to my home and said the required work was not included in the new roof. I paid half of what the claimed it would cost. Around Thanksgiving water was entering my home at two places in my bathroom. I have left 4 voice messages and 4 emails and they refuse to respond. I'm reporting them to the BBB and the Maryland Attorney General's office. DO NOT USE AXI REMODELING. They will collect your money and despite the warranties you will never hear from them again.

Blair replaced 5 skylights with a more reasonable 3 of a slightly smaller size that better suited the space. They also re-paneled the inside ceiling and carefully matched the stain so everything looks really great. No further issues with roof leaks. Frankly, I would trust the folks at Blair to make everything right - plus they are good people. Thinking of using them again for another big project, because they are professionals in the truest sense of the word. We're very pleased with the high quality workmanship and professionalism exhibited by the Blair teams that worked on our house. When we started considering a deck, we had several contractors say that we could not get the features we wanted (Trex Transcend, black spindles, lighting mounted under the rails, etc.) within our budget. Nick came out to our home, talked with us for several hours, provided an estimate for everything we wanted in our deck, and it was under budget!!! Bruce built our deck; he was very thorough and did a great job.
