Even though I had no appointment, they still helped me out when I came in. Service was great. I signed a quick waiver. No charge! In less than 15 mins, Antonio, Genna, Noah and Brandon put a new screw in for me. They did a small file/cut to smooth out one of the edges for a more clean closer fit. She took extra time to ensure I fully understood my condition and the possible treatment options. She also examined our 8-year-old daughter and was wonderful with her. Our daughter genuinely enjoyed her eye appointment! The only downside was the limited selection of eyeglass frames. The only luxury brand they carried was Gucci, and even that had very few options. I've experienced appointments being accidentally canceled, being placed on hold for 15+ minutes, dismissive attitudes, and staff giving inconsistent or inaccurate information. Most recently, I called to have a copy of my contact lens prescription emailed to me so I could purchase lenses while I was already at the store. I was told it would take 10-15 minutes, so I waited. After more than 20 minutes with no email, I called back. I was placed on hold again, and when someone finally answered, she asked for my date of birth. After I explained that I still hadn't received the email, she simply said they were busy and wouldn't be able to send it right away. I explained that I had already called earlier and was waiting at the store because I had been told it would only take 10-15 minutes. She then asked for my name, and after I gave it, she repeated my date of birth--but got the birth year wrong. It felt like she hadn't been listening and was just trying to dismiss my request. She eventually said she would send it "as soon as possible" because they were busy, but the rude attitude and lack of professionalism were disappointing. I understand that offices get busy, but clear communication, attention to detail, and respectful customer service should still be expected. I truly hope the front desk improves because the doctors are excellent, and it would be a shame for the overall patient experience to be affected by poor administrative service.
