I've been coming here for the past few years. The people working here are super sweet and attentive. I've gotten my contacts from here each year and it's been an easy process. I love how they ship ppl the contacts to my house with no charge. One time I had something weird happened to my vision, where this white orb kept coming up and they were able to fit me in and make sure that I was good to go. It wasn't serious. See y'all next year! They messed up my wife's prescription resulting in a delay of over a month to get her glasses. And when I tried to make an appointment for a medical condition, they said that I should wait until the year anniversary of my last exam which was over a month away. Sutter Health scheduled me right away because of the urgency. My wife and I both regret ever going to Corvision. Update- they contacted me and made a big effort to set things right. The worst optometry around here. We ordered a pair of prescription lenses, they said it would be ready within 2-3 weeks. 6 weeks later, there is no sign of our order. They won't pick up the call, and send a very "dont bother us" toned message on text. They are highly inefficient and incompetent, and we for sure are not coming back. read more

They were fantastic. They had great quality of eyeglasses. I bought the ray-bans from them, but more importantly, their lens were very good quality. Also, they were very accommodating/helpful to customers and customer oriented. Only downside was that they were uptight on the Covid policies. They measured temperatures and made you wear masks. Update from old location... Just as expected, Dr. Li is awesome! The new location has a very fresh modern feel to it. They have very new technology that I haven't seen in other offices! After having my eyes tested by the machines, it's uploaded​ to a tablet that goes straight to Dr. Li. Pretty cool... Also, after Dr. Li tests my eyes, he takes the readings and has these " dummy "glasses that gives you a feel of what you'll be expecting to see out of... but the MOST IMPRESSIVE thing here is that I WAS ABLE TO CHOOSE AND GET MY GLASSES THE SAME DAY #MindBlown As far as insurance, they take VSP.. not sure what else. Lastly, you are able to make appointments on line easily, and will get an email confirmation soon after. BOTTOM LINE: if you need an optometrist, Dr.Li is the one to have! He's very thorough and informative! From insurance, to medical concerns (eye related of course), he can pretty much address them! Old location review: I was looking for a NEW Optometrist in Fremont, and decided to try the one inside WalMart. Office: located in the front of the cash registers, past the Optical Department. Front desk: the receptionist was friendly. She will be the one to check you in and do the initial eye testing. Doctor: Dr.Li is very up beat and friendly. He's easy to talk to and addressess all questions you may have throughly. Had my eye appointment, and he noticed that my eyes were dry. He said the dryness may effect my vision test so he gave me drops to use for a week, so he can get accurate testing. Came back the following week and noticed an improvement. I was then was fitted for contacts. He gave me ones to try that may be better for my eyes. Gave a good explanation about the difference between astigmatism ones and regular ones. Had me try it out for a week to make I was fine with the trial before I ordered them. Came back, and ordered contacts. I told him I was concerned about the cost so he looked up the difference between the cost and quality for Equate vs. Name Brand vs. 1800Contscts vs. Walmart. Walmart was the best deal. Came here a day after just successfully going online to book a general appointment/check up. +1 for that! Quaint optometry setup. 1-2 rooms, 1 small closet room for the exam, and then the rest of the space is for the different glasses selection and the front desk. Pro tip 1: Contact examination fee is $60 Pro tip 2: check in on Yelp to get a free contact solution (travel size) or a free eyeglass towel! Check-in: Filled out some more information about myself, and gave my insurance information. You don't pay until the end of your exam. I did some tests with the receptionist, since the optometrist was busy with some sellers/buyers (?) and was brought to the room. My opinion of the optometrist (and his staff): very friendly people, but almost borderline too casual. I know I'm young, but I still care if you provide me good customer service! Everything went pretty well, but the main thing that irked me was that I was still charged a "fitting fee" when I was not even offered any type of contacts to try on. At other places I've been to, I would at least be given a pair of test contacts to try on, even if it's the same brand. I had to argue a bit with the front desk to get a pair, since that is the service/product I was paying for. At the end, he gave me a pair that had lower prescription because he said they did not have mine in stock. Overall, hesitant to come back again, now that I live in Mountain View. Friendly and helpful staff. They have a clean office and strict covid protocol. I ordered my sunglasses and the prescription coupled with wrap around made me dizzy but they offered to fix it, ordered a new prescription lenses and even cut the lenses to fit my Asian face. It took awhile from beginning to end but I guess covid slowed everything down. But it was worth it bc They didn't charge me for the extra work and care. I really appreciate it. read more

We went to this practice for eye exam and ordered glasses. The doctor was unable to write the correct prescription. Even after repeated visits, our glasses did not work. We went to another doctor and paid out of pocket for another eye exam. We received correct prescription. We called Corvision Optometry to check if they will correct the glasses for which we had paid them already. They refused tocorrect their own mistake. They asked for more money to correct the prescription. We will not go back to this doctor again. read more

I started coming here when I relocated to Fremont 3 years ago. Dr Li and hai staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their office is small but has up to date and top of the line equipment. I wasted a lot of time visiting multiple VSP providers looking for reasonable frames for my kids (in network). Corvision prices their frames so that you aren't paying crazy out of pocket prices and also has some of the latest models. I found models I saw at LensCrafters for my kids here and didn't end up paying anything out of pocket (except co-pay). Other VSP provider locations were charging me much more for the same frame and didn't have the best designs! If you need glasses for your kids look no further. Needed contact lenses and an exam last minute without an appointment. After finding Dr. Li online, we called and he was able to fit me and my husband in for an appointment right away. It's also July 4th weekend so I was surprised we were able to be seen right away. We got there and was greeted with a super friendly hello and started out to fill out the paperwork as the guy in the front desk told us to. Half way through, he goes, "oh I'm Dr. Like by the way." I had been hunting around for a new optometrist after my last one failed miserably (in terms of punctuality for appointments and making me feel like I was actually a patient and not just another customer). My boyfriend went to see Dr. Li because it was close to his home, and he told me to check Corvision out, so I did. And yes, Dr. Li is AWESOME! I set an appointment for a contact lens exam, showed up, and they took me right away (after I filled out a few forms, of course). Dr. Li is super laid back and made an effort to get to know me and my eye history. I have a pretty severe astigmatism in one of my eyes, and he kept that in mind as he went through some different prescriptions. I also think he's the first optometrist I've ever visited that didn't make me feel bad about being blind. If I couldn't read any of the letters, he would say things like, "That's okay!" or "Yeah, that's close enough -- pretty good!" My past optometrists would have just said, "Hmmm... okay" with the subtlest hint of judgment in their voices. (Okay, maybe I just read too much into things, but seriously, Dr. Li was really cool.) After my appointment was over, we set a follow-up appointment to make sure the lenses were fitting well with me. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and both Dr. Li and his receptionist remembered me right when I walked in. Super welcoming environment, super awesome doctor. I'll start with my fiance is blind as a bat. He's had to wear eyeglasses since he was a small kid. He depends on his eyeglasses daily to see anything, which would make you think he'd know to remove them if he were to ever go on a roller coaster. Wrong. He lost his glasses on a Friday. We flew home that Saturday. He had a backup pair but they were really old and fragile/superglued. So he had to wear his prescription sunglasses everywhere, even indoors lol. We actually both had scheduled eye exams for Wednesday, but since this was an emergency, I had to call around for anyone with actual day-of openings. I called Corvision and they said they are booked but they'll let us know if theres an opening. I told them we'll be on a plane but if they can text or email us that would be great. I didn't expect it at all but they ended up texting us and scheduling us that day! When we got there, it was extremely busy, which made us feel worse for asking them to accommodate us. They even stayed after hours to finish up our order. We have our own business too and know how hard and tiring this can be! But they never once made us feel like an inconvenience. Furthermore, because it was an emergency, they made temporary eyeglasses for him, with lenses they had in stock that were the closest to his prescription, so that he can go back to work and use until his real lenses came in. Corwin was my eye doctor in the past and when I heard he had his own practice I came over. The office is pretty family friendly, I had my toddler with me and the place was super clean and the staff was really nice. I was impressed Dr. Li was able to get my kid to sit still long enough in the exam chair to get a quick peek into his eye (the big E chart was digital and he played a cartoon on it to distract him). Ive been looking around for eye doctors closeby until i finally settled with corvision. Saw all the yelp ratings so i thought i ought to check the place out. My first day in, i was just looking around at the frames they carry and Dr. Li and his staff were more than welcome to help me out. And i ended up doing some paperwork and set an appointent for my eye exam. When i came in for said eye exam, marvin (Dr. Li's assistant) and the lady (one of dr. Li's staff..his mother? Lol I dunno..but i didnt get her name) remembered me and that does make an impression. They have a very warm and friendly service that'll make you feel right at home. We have had a great experience here for the last two years. Dr. Li is thorough, and we always have a detailed and pleasant appointment. My first appointment had some confusion with the type of exam, and Dr. Li waved a charge to accommodate me. He took the time to dilate my eyes and properly diagnose the floaters in my eyes when all other optometrists insisted on rushing with retinal digital imaging to get more patients in and out and just ignored the floaters. The first visit there was a young woman who insisted on misgendering my child, but I haven't seen her since. Everyone else in the office has been decent and respectful, and we feel welcome. read more
