I don't Yelp too often, however after my amazing experience here yesterday, I felt I must. After being recommended to come here from a coworker, I made an appointment for a regular eye exam. When I walked in, I was immediately helped by the most caring, heartwarming staff. Dr. Li is really cool. I called on Monday knowing they were closed but left a message inquiring about contacts. He called me Tuesday morning and offered me an appointment for a contact fitting first thing in the morning for the following day. Fast forward to Wednesday morning, my appointment lasted about 30 minutes and he answered all my questions. He sent me home with 2 different types of daily contact lenses to test throughout the week to see which ones I liked best. And he was even able to update the prescription on my current eye glasses on the same day, which was awesome! My old optometrist would've taken at least 2 weeks. When I picked up my glasses with the new prescription, they noticed the screws were loose and tightened them up for me. I was talking about how comfortable the test contacts were to my coworkers and they are bow looking to come in for some as well. Highly recommend! read more

Great optometrist and great selection of frames! First of all, Doctor Corwin is awesome. He is friendly and really makes sure that you have the right prescription whether that'd be for glasses or contacts. Secondly, this office carries Ici Berlin frames! This is a German brand and not many eye offices carry them. I was specifically looking for this brand and I was pleasantly surprised by their selections. I ordered my frames and I love it so far! I've received so many compliments. Not to mention, the lens quality is much better than what I'm used to (from Warby Parker, Lenscrafters - oops!). I'm always on the computer and the anti reflective coating and blue light protection really saves my eyes. I will be back! read more

Went to visit Corvision, yesterday for the first time. I was looking for some sunglasses / active wear protective eyewear for the upcoming skiing season. They have a good selection of Oakleys and after going through several pairs, I ended up settling on a Prism lens which should help me see clearer up on the mountains! Had an appointment with Dr. Li, came in without any knowledge for the reason of my stigmatizing conditions. Did a quick analysis and discovered that the long duration on the monitor created a lot of issues. Dr. Li suggested getting blue lenses to help ease the light reflecting along with some other strategies of preventing my eye sight from worsening. Very helpful all around! Nice choice of glasses. The doctor listened to my concerns and tried to give feedback and explanations. The old lady in charge of sales was a bit aggressive. She tried to tell me I had to have progressives after I told her I preferred separate reading and distance glasses. She also started to fill in a bunch of extras without consulting me first which was very annoying. I told her she needed to ask me before she made me pay for them. I went to Corvision this past Spring after issues at other optometrists in Sunnyvale. To keep this short, Corwin worked wonders and prescribed a much better prescription for my glasses and was able to order new lenses that fit my frames (purchased elsewhere in above poor experience at other optometrists in Sunnyvale). The experience was all around phenomenal. The screening went smoothly, the prescription is great and he magically saved the frames I had purchased previously - all marvelous. He was overly knowledgeable and approachable, answering all the questions I had. I'll be going back here for sunglasses and additional frames moving forward - I've found my go-to optometrist! I originally chose Corvision because it was accepted by my eye insurance (VSP) and it's location was super close to my home. I read the Yelp reviews and needless to say, booked my appointment same day. Their hours work perfectly so that I could get to my appointments on the way home from work. I went into Corvision looking to get contacts (for the first time) because I was fed up with my glasses. I also needed my annual eye exam. Dr. Li helped me with all of the above! I was in and out of there in less than an hour. He answered all my questions with patience and helped me determine if I should get daily's, bi weekly's or monthly's (we settled on the monthly's). He gave me a pair to try out and then had me watch a brief video describing how to properly take care of them and how to take them in and out. I made a follow up appointment the next week to tell him how they were going, and ended up ordering my year's supply of contacts. I go to pick them up tomorrow. It's only been a week but I can't imagine my life without contacts now!I even recommended them to a few friends who have also had a great experience there!
