The fact that the manager allowed this to happen in front of paying customers is incredibly unprofessional and unfair. It felt like my time and effort were completely disrespected. If customers don't even have a fair chance to buy items because employees get first dibs, what's the point of showing up early or calling ahead? I hope this store reconsiders how it handles product releases and prioritizes fairness for all customers.

(Car is push button - apparently they will drive without the keys in the car, who knew?!? ) As I was leaving the area and headed back to the Bay, my keys must've slid off the top of the car...a kind gentleman who didn't leave his name, saw the key fob for CosmoProf, recognized the name of the store and drove over to drop them off. The salesperson at the local store called customer support, who reached out to me to let me know my keys had been found. I was so pleased - not only that this Good Samaritan came to my rescue, but also because the entire CosmoProf staff in store was so helpful in making this happen. I met up with the DM and three other people who were all veterans but made it very easy for me to start over.
