We got three different quotes and recommendations for a replacement 5 ton unit, and Honest Air Care's knowledge, transparency, flexibility, and price once again caused us to choose them. They offered several different models we could choose from, spanning the spectrum of discount and premium traditional heatpumps as well as newer inverter models (one of which we ultimately selected) with a couple different price/efficiency points. They were really the only one to do that, the others seemed to have their old school model and brand they liked and wanted to stick with it (which is entirely reasonable, but not what we wanted). They also communicated pretty well, answering an emailed question and responding on the phone. They replaced our rooftop unit, redid the connector and roof integration to account for changes in form factor, and added three new vents into our bedrooms to account for the additional air flow required (and improve night time cooling effectiveness), all in one day. Owner Steve Troup tried contacting the complex and get my information because I made a police report on the incident, the owner was told by the complex they cannot give any residence information because it's against the law , the complex then contacted me and stated the owner wanted me to give him a call and that he wanted to resolve the issue . As soon as he answers the phone the owner starts going off on me saying I am lying that his employee never stole the item, he then stated he is willing to pay $2000 for me to drop the case with the police and to remove the review I left on here , after the jewelry store quoted $4k for the exact piece of jewelry he instantly got annoyed and denied trying solving the issue and wanting to pay me . The review was removed but will be back up here and other sites as well as this situation has affected my mental health and still want to pursue a lawsuit against him and the company as he tried scaring me sending me a letter saying if I didn't remove the review I will be going to court . Yelp states 95% of the court cases that go for a review get dismissed as United States has freedom of speech in the first amendment and this was from my experience.
