It was a call in the evening not too late around 8 PM and a technician came out and she quickly diagnosed that one of my systems was the outdoor fan and the other one was the compressor. I did not agree with her diagnosis and so I had another company come out and they diagnosed it differently and I told the American home and water what the diagnosis was and had them come out and do a second opinion and they said you're right it is the control board. Please keep in mind that this unit is under warranty and it has been almost a full month and I've had one call made to me about the status of the warranty claim and the replacement part and in the meantime, I went with another company to have this repaired under warranty. Two reasons I'm writing this review; number one the technician that diagnose my systems was completely wrong originally and I was able to get it fixed quickly using another company and while I'm still waiting for this company to be in contact with me about the replacement part under warranty. I hate writing this because they've had great service early on and it's a disappointment that their customer service is now what's making me write this. I had to call three times originally to get an update.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

Our A/C was making deep grumbling noises, shaking the house, and causing neighbors to text informing us how bad it sounded to them. Working with our home warranty company, they had sent two previous technicians from other companies out to evaluate. Neither could find the problem, mind you neither were here long enough to wait and listen either. Jose M. with Sun Tech was the 3rd company that was dispatched to our home. Jose listened to our concerns, asked many questions, and took his time trying to find the cause. Because of his patience and diligence, he was able to find the problem (air handler and motor) and replaced necessary parts in less than 24 hours. We have recently gotten a home warranty, and when my A/C began giving us problems we called for a service. This home warranty company has been spotty to say the least in providing service vendors who know what they are doing. I am happy to say that these people at Sun Tech Air Conditioning are exceptions. They were knowledgeable, personable (I'm not looking to take any walks in the moonlight, or long, warm showers; just a friendly handshake and smile will do nicely), efficient, and very considerate of my property. My unit is old, and can be a maintenance challenge. They fixed it a year ago, and it is still running strong. Also; I know what I said. Sun Tech replaced an old Samsung mini-split system which had died with a Mitsubishi unit. Installation was as scheduled and the technicians were timely and professional. After about 5 days, I noted the ac wasn't cooling as I thought it had been. I notified them and they had technicians out that day. Turns out there was a Freon leak. They promptly reworked all fittings and recharged the unit. It has been working like a champ. While I wish that rework wasn't necessary, I was impressed with how they handled the situation. Things happen, but the measure of a company is how they address it. read more

Jose came to repair our air conditioner and it turned out that we needed a new thermostat. The only one that was on his truck was not covered by my home warranty. They would order one and come back tomorrow before the weekend. We were thrilled that it would be up and working before the weekend. Several minutes after Jose left, I heard a knock on the door. I had Will come out and do a warranty service on my 18 year old ac unit. I wanted to make sure that it was in working order prior to the hot summer months. Our AC broke. Turns out it was the fan motor. But the fan was siezed on the old motor, so they had to order a replacement, none in stock. Victoria and Will did great. Will went down to the supplier and watched them place the order personally and made sure it was overnighted. They confirmed the "white wire" AZ Perfect Comfort had pointed to wasn't even connected to anything. I am relieved I didn't pay AZ Perfect Comfort $240 to "fix" a non-existent problem. When I requested a refund for their $99.95 diagnostic fee, they refused, so I have disputed the charge with my bank. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

We had a couple other estimates in and found some good pricing but wasn't confident with the customer service they provided (too salesy). Rose offered a very competitive pricing that included full (and i mean literally full warranty, not the "here's your warranty for 10 years and every time we visit, you pay $99" warranty). We negotiated for the brand and model we wanted with the amount of warranty years. She had her technicians scheduled that same week. The only minor issue would be the technicians saying they would leave the place "spotless" but didn't (Rose wasn't there for this). There were visibly shoe prints when they were supposed to be wearing booties. When we returned to check on the process, they weren't wearing booties as they said they would. We had to clean everything up when the job was done. Thankfully, Rose did return to clean the attic cover and repainted what she could. We appreciate this very much.
