Our family frequents the various ice cream stores in the area pretty regularly. What sets Ice Splash apart is their diverse menu. One kid wants froyo while the another wants boba - no problem! It's so nice to not have to hit multiple shops which often leads to purchasing way more items than intended. I had their ice cream for the first time this week and it was excellent! Honestly, I do not understand how one can't love this place! Let me start with the owner of this place. Ever since my first time visiting, she has been nothing but helpful and friendly to me. In fact, she has personally offered me discounts and invited me in to eat lunch amongst other trivial but meaningful gestures. Through her generosity and compassion, Lily will go out of her way to serve the customer. Onto the desserts! Brought a few friends over and all of them tried options from milk tea to yogurt to ice cream. None of them were left unsatisfied! However, one of my friends said it was a shame he didn't buy a larger size of the ice cream cup because it was too good! My personal favorite is the Strawberry Banana Ice Cream. Ice cream made to order! The texture was smooth and creamy, and sweetness can be adjusted. If I could change one thing, it'd be the amount of time; an order of 3 ice creams took ~15 min with no one else in the store. Two of the three orders were the same ice cream flavor/sweetness/size but I don't see why they couldn't be made at the same time. I hope for future improvement of operations, the store would increase the number of blenders for their ice cream so that multiple batches can be done at once, and/or hire more staff. I came in searching for a light enjoyable yet refreshing frozen yogurt. The environment as I walked in was nice and retro feel. It was nice they left customers use the bathroom without a key. I saw that they had watermelon and I love that flavor. As I poured myself my portion, up next was the toppings. Sadly they didn't have any fruits I wanted in stock, even though, it was displayed so. It wouldn't been nice to have watermelon flavored frozen yogurt and pieces of watermelon. I say their service of putting down the amount of toppings was very generous as I asked which one I wanted. Really delicious creamy frozen yogurt, wide variety of toppings and freshly made boba tea! I was able to customize my sweetness level to my boba tea (I prefer less sweet) which honestly is becoming a deciding factor if I am able to even order it. Pre-mixed thai boba tea can be so sickly sweet for me, but the good news is at Ice Splash you can customize it! The frozen yogurt here is really creamy and delicious too. They also offer a tart flavor, so refreshing! I wish they offered carb-o-lite flavors here, but I did see some sugar free options. I had really wonderful service both visits. Update to owners response- ***When we arrived, there was a family inside ordering, so we waited outside. We also forgot our mask so while she's helping out that family, one person went next door to purchase face covering and by the time we got it, the family that got served was just leaving. That's when we went inside to order since she was already helping the first family. We came with more people but only three of us went directly inside and we're just going to order for them which will total up to seven orders. If you guys have audio recording on your camera, please listen to what your manager was saying. She's steering customers away by not wanting to make the order and def not helping with the business. We felt like she didn't want us to come inside. We drove here hoping to get ice cream, so when we made our order, she says she can't make it right now cause it'll take a really long time and she doesn't get paid extra. (She repeated this multiple times btw). She's lying to you or spreading false info about her pay. We all heard what she said and she did not offer to make it even after the boba order. We all stood there looking at each other cause of what she said. This employee really just persuaded us to not order. I'm posting this review cause this is what had happen to let others know about our experience and to not show up after 8PM if you want ice cream if this particular manager is working. She should of told us her "rules" that she doesn't make ice cream after a certain amount of time when we made the phone call. I asked her on the phone, "are y'all still open" and she says "yes, come before 8:30." It would be nice if we were told about the "cant make ice cream at this time", since this item is 1/3 of what y'all offer on the menu. (For ex, "if it's after 8PM, we stop making ice cream orders, but you can still order drinks/yogurt"). I think it varies per employee on when they decide to stop making orders. From our first experience we show up around the same time, and was able to get our orders. I just got your message and I will call you. When we went inside, unfortunately, when I was about to order some ice cream and drinks, it didn't go so well. The lady working that Saturday who says she's the manager, literally says "I can't make the ice cream, it will take too long and I don't get paid to work overtime". We were shocked. She knew I called ahead, and then says, "I should've told you about the ice cream, but I don't get paid to work over time." Or at least just make 1 order of ice cream, if the others will take too long. We can tell she didn't want to make the order by dragging out "it'll take me a reeealllly looong timmme to make the ice cream". Who hired this person? Is this manager really helping out your business? We came there for the ice cream and I wanted to have the others try it out. I did order one drink for someone else just cause I felt bad while we were there. I've been hyping this place up and finally got people to come here...I am embarrassed and after this experience, doubt we'll be back. What I liked: The portions are huge and the price is really affordable compared to other froyo spot. The froyo and ice cream are very creamy and freshly made. The ice cream even takes 15 minute to make. What I ordered: Italian tart which had a weird after taste and I wouldn't necessarily order it again. The cheese cake I like least. The cookies and cream on the other hand was great! The purple yum ice cream was creamy and good, reminded me of icicles. Overall a bit too sweet and heavy for me. One of best dessert places I've been to. I got their hand made coffee ice cream which I saw was made with real, freshly made coffee mixed with the cream and hand made in front of you. Let me start by saying that their frozen yogurt was some of the best I've ever had. It was self serve and I decided to try the euro tart and mango tango. The yogurt was fresh and the flavor did not seem artificial. Really enjoyed my frozen yogurt.. Let's talk about processes.. I found this place on yelp with and decided to come here with one reason being that they had freshly made ice cream. When I walked in, we were greeted immediately. As we glanced the menu, the kind lady at the counter mentioned multiple times that getting the frozen yogurt was faster and that she had multiple orders ahead. Very strange to deter people from ordering one of the signature items that they are known for. She did set the expectation that it would take 10-15 minutes in which my kids were okay with. As I'm sitting here now, I would estimate that it's been 20-25 minutes and they have now brought out one of the two ice creams that we ordered and I have one upset toddler because after patiently waiting, she has to watch her sister eat in front of her. I would imagine if you offer fresh made ice cream, you would be staffed appropriately and designate one person to handle that. I've been observing the last 15 minutes and each staff member ends up dropping whatever they are doing to attend to the customers getting frozen yogurt which extends the time for others who ordered drinks and ice cream. Very frustrating as this place has good product but their processes are very scattered and would deter me coming back here, specifically for ice cream as my expectations would be waiting 30 minutes for a simple ice cream order. TWO 8 OZ ICE CREAMS for $8.70, BOBA FOR $~ 3.90!! BEST PLACE EVER! This place is amazing and I'm so happy I found it. I got Irish Cream and mango passion fruit in the smallest size offered, which is 8 oz. I highly recommend Irish cream. It's like a mix of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. The ice cream was not overly sweet at all and actually tasted it really natural. The ice cream was rolled and takes a little bit for them to make since they are making it right in front of you! I saw them use a mix of fruits and my mango passion fruit even had little bits of dried mango inside, which was a delightful touch. If you've ever had a bad experience with fruity ice cream (which I have--usually I think it's overly sweet), you won't need to worry about that here. The ice cream actually tastes like the fruit! We also got the purple yam/ube flavor with gummy bears (toppings are 80 cents). I was a little skeptical at first because I've found some places to make overly empowering, artificial-tasting ube ice cream. But this was delicious as well and a very realistic taking flavor. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I want to take everyone I know here. If you've ever been to Marugame Udon, it's kind of like that experience. You get to see the workers juice lemons, cut strawberries, and use their spatulas to roll up the ice cream in front of you. And best of all, the flavors are unique and delicious. I didn't get the boba, but the prices are what they used to be maybe 5 years ago! I highly encourage anyone who usually heads to a familiar chain like Yogurt Land or Salt and Straw (which I think is excessively thick and rich) to try Ice Splash instead. The ice cream here was very refreshing. It's highly affordable. Think about it--you're getting handmade ice cream with fresh ingredients that's being meticulously made by friendly workers! I was fully expecting the total to be around $16 or more because it's handmade, has fresh ingredients, and because inflation, but the prices here are low but the quality is outstanding. You can tell the owner really cares about this establishment and the workers take pride in what they're making. Notes on location and parking: It's in a sleepy plaza with a movie theater and some other things, but there's plenty of parking nearby. The best thing about Ice Splash is that the items are reasonably priced while still maintaining quality. My kid has been begging for boba drinks but at $7-8+ a pop at other places, it is an infrequent treat. Here the boba drinks are $4-5 but still offer a range of flavors and toppings, so we can indulge more often. The frozen yogurt is delicious too, with a variety of flavors.
