I had a unique and fun experience at the Ice Bar while visiting. My time slot was for 9:00 PM, but when I arrived I wasn't able to go in at that time so they changed the time to 10pm, so I learned quickly that it's best to arrive on time or a few minutes early for check-in. No worries though -- I just came back later and checked in without any issues. I was already prepared for what I was walking into -- I brought gloves, hand warmers, and foot warmers, which definitely helped make the experience more bearable. Once inside, I grabbed a poncho and was ready to go. The entire room being made of ice was really cool (literally), and having a bartender inside serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks made it even more fun. I made sure to take lots of pictures -- it's such a unique setup and perfect for photos. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience that I think everyone should try at least once. Just be prepared -- it's an ice bar, so it's cold, and most people will probably last about 15-20 minutes. I made it 15 minutes and was ready to head out . The day before, we had booked and paid for entry and drinks in one of the available time slots. However, when we showed up at the agreed and confirmed time, they didn't have jackets and gloves for us, so we couldn't get in. Since we had chosen the place for a pre-dinner cocktail and had a table reservation elsewhere immediately afterward, we couldn't wait to get in later in the evening. We asked for a refund for the entry and drinks, but a somewhat indifferent and slightly arrogant receptionist simply referred us to an email address where we could complain to her manager. After a week and a half and three emails, there has been no response. It's therefore hard to see this as anything other than a calculated money machine equipped with incredibly poor staff and poor management. A really cool concept. At first when they told me your ticket includes one drink and only 20min I was a little taken back. But after they let us in I couldn't even stay 20min it was so cold even with the jacket they give you to put on. Make sure you bring your own gloves or purchase some you will need it to drink your drink lol. The bar and everything inside is frozen and made of ice, including the drink glass they give you. So if your thinking about stealing the shot glass it will surely melt in your pocket. Lol A really cool experience for sure. This ice bar was located near the famous Charles Bridge and 5 story club, easy to find and cheap to get in compared to ice bars in the states. Once you go in and pay, you sit in a waiting room where they hand you jackets and a pair of gloves. Feel free to take pictures, it's about 30 minutes for each group that goes in. Once they open the doors, prepare your nipples! It's freezing in there but in a good way! You automatically get a free drink of your choice, everything else will cost you extra. They serve the drinks in ice glasses, hence the gloves. By the bar, there is an ice sculpture of a naked woman where you can take shots from; guess where they pour out of?! Hint: milk and babies. Definitely recommend trying this, the bartender pours the shot from a funnel that passes through half the sculpture via straw and it comes quick! He gives you a chaser immediately and after downing it, you smash the ice glass in the bin. I was pretty lit and missed so I ended up throwing it on the ground, but I low key wanted to like the Greek,"opa!" Such a fun experience, definitely stop by if you ever find yourself in Prague! Also, the Night Gym is nearby for all you nasties. read more

Listen, everyone writing reviews is dumb. This place is cool and funny. You get a drink with admission and honestly what else are you looking for when going to a place called ice pub in a touristy part of town. Do you want to have a drink in a cold place, and take some pics? Do it. Do you want to have fancy cocktails and act snooty? Don't do it, obviously this isn't for you. We made a reservation and we were 10 min late so had to wait till the next session. No problem completely our fault, just saying, arrive 5 min early. You go in with a group, 15-20 people probably. You get a drink ticket and I had a free ticket from my hostel. You get thin gloves and a poncho. Cool inside when you think that its all made of ice, but to be honest there is not much to do. You spend about 20 min in there, got a little little cold toward the end. Its a cool experience but I would not go again, to me its not worth a second visit because of the price. The appeal of this place is obviously the novelty of it! I've always wanted to go to the ice bar in the UK and had high expectations for this place since it's in Prague. Our hostel held coupons that gave a second drink for free so we brought those with us. I think it cost around 220 korunas which includes a free drink. They give you ponchos to wear on top but i suggest bringing a scarf and your own jacket and gloves! The black gloves they provide are pretty thin and not very helpful. They had cool ice sculptures inside including a michael jackson and an ice DJ and ice throne! The bar itself is obviously fairly small, prob could not fit more than 12 people at a time. The drinks they offer are with Absolut vodka (orange juice, cranberry, and a blue one that looked way too sweet) They blast club EDM music and the entire experience is only 20 MINUTES but i barely lasted!! Went there with two friends. I've read a lot about scam in Prague, so I was cautious when paying. I gave the girl 1000czk, got back 600 in change. I thought It was a bit expensive, so I asked my friends if maybe she already charged for their ticket also, but they had paid 200czk each. When I confronted the girl in the counter, she claimed to have given me back 800. I was so mad, I wanted to call the police, but that would mean wasting 1-2 hours. Do not go here. The girl behind the counter first didn't give one person in my group her ticket to get in after paying (she never mentioned we needed any sort of ticket). My other friend and I got our refunds since we were given tickets, but she gave him a ripped bill, which apparently isn't taken at most places in Prague. Poor customer service. I will say last time I came here too, the shots are very weak as well and extra drinks cost about 150. Not expensive for my home currency, but not cheap in the city by any means. read more

Definitely not worth the trip. First you have to pay the entrance fee to get into the building. Then you need to prepay to buy a drink to get into the actual ice bar. The service in the bar is terrible. The drinks are awful. They market that they are mixed drinks, but they taste just like a plain shot of vodka. Service was crap. I thought this bar had a fantastic atmosphere. It had so many styles and different selections, but honestly the 2 star review was because of a certain bartender (I believe his name is jakub and he was working at the discotecha section). I have seriously never met such a rude bartender in my life. I came into this bar without a drink in my system, and I don't know if it was the fact that I was a foreigner, or If he just assumed I was drinking. It was very obvious that this guy hated his job. This was the absolute worst service I've ever experienced at a bar. The lady who sold me my ticket forgot to give me my receipt (which you need to get in to the ice bar to get drinks) and then later blamed me for losing it and refused to refund me or let me in to the bar. I was completely sober by this point and I don't know if it was because I'm a foreigner or just it this lady was that rude but either way it was the worst customer service. Do not go here!!!
