    Banana macadamia nut

We stopped by this cute trailer and sampled some amazing original flavors like huckleberry cream and Marionberry sorbet. I landed on the kids scoop of banana macadamia nut in a hot fudge filled HOME MADE waffle cone. As a seasoned ice cream girl I really do know my ice creams and this place rocks!

Excellent little place, wonderful use of the Airstream, strategically located on the parking lot of the most popular place in town the Packwood Brewing Co. We had ice cream every evening (4) on our stay in Packwood.

Awesome local ice cream trailer. It's an old time air stream and run by a local. Homemade waffle cones or get it in a cup. There are 8 rotating flavors. Cheesecake and chocolate was a great combo. This year they added asai bowls. Did not try. But with ice cream this good it's hard to stray. It's tucked into the corner of the brewery where the corn hole is played.

Place is super cute. Ice cream is delicious. I got the pistachio in a waffle cone (super crunchy and nicely sweetened) and my friend got the cappuccino chip. We also got a doggie cone for my pups which is an adorable mini cone with whipped cream. Cool concept; decent prices.

Super tasty, home style ice cream. Smooth and creamy, served by a charming owner! Located right by Packwood Brewing Co! Bring your dog, kids, everyone. Super after a long hike. Plus, Affogatos are excellent!

Coolest Ice Cream shop in the outdoor patio area of the local Packwood Brewery!

Get the Kentucky pie flavor! Also soft serve is good. Employee greeted us with a smile despite the long line

I ordered the Blackberry Cobbler Cold Brew, which was delightful. They didn't have many non-pork breakfast options, so I tried the Blueberry Chia Cup. I'm just not the biggest fan of chia, so this wasn't my favorite. However, my friend said her breakfast burrito was solid. We returned later in our trip, and I got a Ginger Molasses Cookie. This was delicious! The texture was perfectly chewy and the flavor was great. Overall, worth the visit!

It can get pretty packed though since it's the only dine-in cafe in town. There is quite a lot of cute merch in the back & stickers at the front counter. Service: Service was okay. Our orders did come out quick, but if it's packed it'll take a lil while. Food: I came 3 different days and ordered 3 lattes each day (Carmel, marshmallow, and hazelnut). I believe their hot lattes taste a lot better than ordering an iced one. I've had better lattes but this is the closest cafe in the area. Espresso was decent. As for their pastries, their salted double chocolate chip cookies are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! That cookie was the reason we kept coming back.

Most of the store is dedicated to selling gifts and other merchandise. The cafe, where all the ice cream and treats are found, is in the back of the store through a doorway on the right. Milkshake, Huckleberry, Large 24oz ($8.50*) - I'm not sure if they make their ice cream in house. Probably not**, but the milkshake is pretty tasty, studded with plenty of little flecks of blue/black colored berries. The consistency is perfectly drinkable and it's not too sweet. I saw them pouring in milk and scooping tons of ice cream into the blender - the milkshake probably has more ice cream included than even a double scoop cone. The milkshake is delightfully fruity flavored, kind of like blueberry, but also a little different. Just the day before drinking this milkshake, I foraged huckleberries near Mt. Rainier (red and several types of blue), and I can say that it also doesn't taste exactly like a fresh huckleberry, but the ice cream still tastes great in its own way. (4/5) *There is something funky going on with their accounting. A large milkshake (sans whipped cream) should be $8.50 according to the menu displayed at the counter. Their address indicates they are in Enumclaw, so adding a 8.9% Enumclaw sales tax should be $9.26. I was charged $9.49, plus an additional 33 cent service charge (they have a label at the front counter stating they charge a 3.5% service fee for credit cards so that's not an issue). I gave them a call after noticing this discrepancy and they told me that the large milkshake is actually $8.75 since they raised prices two months prior (and didn't update their menu...) and the extra $0.74 is tax. That's equivalent to a 8.5% sales tax, which no jurisdiction in either King County nor Pierce County charges. There's something strange going on and their explanation in the call makes no sense. **Based on my research, I believe the ice cream they use is from Cascade Glacier, which is a blueberry ice cream base with huckleberry flavoring. Any place with unethical or dishonest behavior automatically gets a 1 star review. For Wapiti Outdoors, in the best case scenario, they, for some inexplicable reason, decided not to update their electronic signboard to reflect their latest pricing AND they didn't set up their POS system to calculate sales tax correctly. In the worst case scenario, they are actively scamming their customers. Bathrooms - One unisex room

With its weathered sign and old-school charm, Spiffy's has the kind of roadside appeal that makes you hit the brakes. We tried a bit of everything: the Spiffy Burger and fries ( the burger was large and came cut in half with care!), a hot dog, a corn dog, and chicken tenders. Everything was perfectly cooked and generously portioned. ( the crinkle fries were crunchy on the outside and moist and hot inside - I do wish the portion size of fries was larger in the basket. The Spiffy Burger lives up to its reputation-- flavorful, and satisfying. The chicken tenders portion was large were a hit with the kids. Both boys tried the Cherry Coke shake of the month and expressed how good It was. Though it has a rustic look, don't let appearances fool you. The food is good, the prices are more than fair, and the staff is as friendly and welcoming as you could hope for. There's a reason this place draws in locals, travelers, and nearby workers alike. If you're anywhere near Morton, make time for a stop at Spiffy's. Whether you're craving a burger, a shake, or just a quick, satisfying bite--this spot delivers. The reasons for the 4 rating are : fry portion size in the basket and the burger although exactly what I expected but bigger, was out of the freezer and not homemade. Which is fine for a diner but makes this a 4.
