I really wanted to love this place after seeing all the great reviews, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it for what I was looking for. I had been growing my eyebrows out for months because I wanted to change the shape and make them more even. Unfortunately, my brows were basically just cleaned up and shaped the way I already had them before, so I felt like I grew them out for nothing. I was also offered a tint to help make them look more even. Unfortunately, the tint didn't help and actually made the difference more noticeable because there was dark tint left on the skin underneath one brow, making it look even higher. I also felt like the tint didn't really change anything, so it felt like money wasted. I brought my daughter for her first brow shaping because she has very thick, long brows and only wanted them cleaned up and shaped. Unfortunately, hers were also left uneven -- one was thick and rounded while the other had a more pointed arch. She was disappointed as well. I will say the lady was very sweet, welcoming, and kind, and the place was extremely busy with lots of customers coming in and out. I have nothing negative to say about her customer service. Based on my experience, I would recommend this place more for cleaning up and maintaining an eyebrow shape you already like, rather than creating a new shape, evening out uneven brows, or doing a first-time brow transformation. For those services, I would personally look for someone who specializes more specifically in brow shaping.

And the location is perfect since I live in Emeryville. I could have walked there! Today I met Sarah for the first time and had a eyelash tint and a brow wax/clean-up and tint in prep for a week beach vacation with my girl besties. Sarah is very meticulous and detail oriented which resonates with me as I am the same. And her space is very, very clean, professional and comforting. Sarah is a sweetheart and adorable. I felt like I have known her forever! So comfortable to work with. I was in and out in an hour and now feel prepared for vacation. I didn't say anything I just paid the 13 dollars but it is illegal to charge card fees especially on debit cards. Not to mention I've been to this place multiple times and paid 12 when using my card. I don't mind leaving a tip but it did rub me the wrong way.

I wish I had a more glamorous photo to share of my eyelash extensions but I decided to just take one now on a whim for this review. So this is what my lashes look like, straight out of bed, no brushing. This is it and it looks great. This photo is taken a couple days after a fill. Hayley is very good and I get the impression that she takes a lot of pride in her work. She's actually pretty fast given that she lashes almost every single lash, if not every single lash. I would know since I used to get "one to one" lashes with her. I am pretty particular about my extensions. And for me, her extensions last a long time. They still look really amazing at the end of 4 weeks. I also personally like them "not too long" since I also wear glasses and I like a mix of lashes. Hayley is really wonderful at what she does. I appreciate that she allows me to relax and sometimes even fall asleep during the fills. Even at 39 weeks pregnant with a giant belly, she offers these wedge pillows to make you more comfortable so you can lie on your side for the fills--which I think is very thoughtful and kind of her, especially because it seems like an inconvenience for her to be lashing at a weird angle. I actually have tried a few of the other technicians (Sandy and Daisy) and they are also very nice and good at what they do. Hayley is my favorite though so I will be getting my lashes done by her for as long as she is working! I've been with her for four years now. I highly recommend her. I loved every single one of my sets and she is really the best in the game. Her sets look so natural, not fake mega lash - so don't expect that from her. My retention was pretty good only because I listened to her instructions on proper lash care and I religiously washed my lashes with her lash shampoo. Thanh's attitude and demeanor made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. She is very easy to talk to and she also gives you space if you just want to relax. It's easy to make an appointment online, through IG, or her website. Usually there's a $20 deposit when you make the appointment and instructions are easy. The chair we sit on is also super comfortable that you realize you're all done before you even know it. I wear glasses and she's very accommodating and makes good recommendations as to style and keeps a copy of your profile for future reference. I get the classic look which takes about 2 hours for initial full set for $100. Would highly recommend! Parking is really easy off of San Pablo and services are really clean and within a house and room, masks are worn at all times and there's good ventilation.
