Holy wow y'all. I kid you not, I went from having a wispy pair that made me look like the sad…read moretheater mask to killer, thick, natural-looking, and hella manly brows. I'm not proud of what the 90s did to my eyebrow hairs, but I'm super proud of myself for finding Mashari lol She is just too lovely for this world, and has found a way to achieve maximum kindness AND professionalism at the same time. I cannot begin to tell you how AFFIRMING these brows are for a trans elder as myself who has struggled with dysphoria a lot. I struggled with how feminine my brows were for so long, and now they are even better than what I thought i could never have! The way Mashari treated my complicated gender-affirming request was gracious, kind, and honestly above and beyond the courtesy you expect as a customer anywhere. I was seen and heard and respected, then sent off feeling like the world is my oyster! I'm going to go ahead and take credit for giving this incredibly talented artist the title of Goddess of All Brows (creating brows from scratch that look like this is no mortal feat). In case you see her pricing and go "oh my i could get it cheaper," then you are not looking at this from the right perspective; this is literally a face tattoo, and should cost a lot in order to be as good as you dream it would be. I got a bang for every penny I spent, and I'm telling you to go ahead and book Mashari rn and do yourself an enormous favor.

It's a big price commitment which is why it took me so long but I finally did it and I cannot be happier. I was a little nervous I would have push back on what I wanted because I wanted a very bold brow for my natural hair color and was so pleasantly surprised with how understanding and supportive of my vision Mashari was. I showed her a few photos of how I fill in my brows and she marked out the exact perfect shape on the first try. I immediately knew I was in fantastic hands. She was great and paying attention to how my face and body were reacting to the process (eyes watering, twitching, etc) so much so I didn't even notice before she did. I was shocked at how little pain I felt from the process. When I finally got to see my new brows I immediately started to cry. This is something I've wanted for a long time and she managed to make my brows so perfect. She was so kind and sweet about my emotional reaction. I really cannot overstate how comfortable she made me feel and how confident these brows make me feel. The studio is STUNNING. I am obsessed with it. Such a comfortable space. She made sure that the tattoo table was as comfortable as possible even having a knee pillow which was so nice I'm thinking of getting one for myself! She even grabbed my sweater for me to make sure I wouldn't get cold. The aftercare instructions and little goodie bag is so helpful. I really love that she gives the exact balm and soap to use. I have a few tattoos and always worry about if I'm using the correct soap and moisturizer during the healing. And with this being on my face I want it to heal as well as possible so I love that she gave me exactly what I needed. Overall this whole experience felt so luxurious to me. From the studio, to the pillows on the table, to the aftercare goodie bag, even to the bathroom! I am blown away with Mashari's talent with tattooing and ability to interpret what her clients are saying and making it happen. She's also just incredibly fun to talk to and I loved getting to know her! I cannot recommend her enough.

I decided to go thicker this time. My next three sessions were more painful than expected and the healing was 10x worse than I remembered. The scabbing and inflammation lasted about 7 days. When talking to her about it, she didn't seem too concerned. I had the same reaction each session. I wasn't sure if I was having a reaction with the pigment or if her technique was way to harsh. She is very hot/cold. She seems to get very irritated easily and has an eerie energy about her. I would not recommend her for eyelids/eyeliner. She may have been doing permanent makeup for a long time but her technique was traumatizing and she is not very knowledgeable about medication. I am a Registered Nurse with ER/TELE/PACU and surgical post-op experience, therefore I have extensive knowledge on wound care. I'm also heavily tattooed and all my tattoos have healed well. This has been a learning experience for me. I highly recommend looking for photos of HEALED tattoos. Most of her portfolio contains fresh tattoos which look great. My eyeliner looked awesome when she was done but final results were terrible. If Yelp allows me to post photos later, I will try to update my results.
