I love their coffee latte and their service. I usually take my coffee to go, so I love their paper cups. They have lovely aditional goods and beautiful view from window.

So I come out of the train station on this rainy day and what do I see? "I NEED COFFEE" and I thought to myself, why yes, I do need some coffee! I did really enjoy going to this place. I had a latte which was made perfectly, the girls woring were very nice and welcoming to everyone. It was about 11am and it was pretty empty so I decided to take a seat and stay for a while. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5..is not just because Mama coffee still holds the only 5 star (in my opinion) espresso available in Prague, but because it was the most expensive latte I have ever had in Prague at 64 crowns, and not the biggest or best at that. Also they have no wifi, and the decor is a bit, well, boring. However if you are a writer or reader this place fits the bill perfectly as long as you're willing to pay more for their coffee.

This place has good breakfast (we had yoghurt and toast with cheese, which were really fresh), really good coffee (and nice latte art too), nice service. Perfect for Saturday mornings. Or any morning really.

This place was a bit of a side track for me and I only got to try their cappuccino. The coffee was a bit weak and would have needed another espresso shot. Otherwise it was really good, the coffee beans smelled nice and they really took their time to prepare it even though it was a pretty busy time with lots of customers. The cafe is not that big but still calm, probably a good place to sit down for work or just walk by and grab a take away. It seemed like they also had good options to grad a snack like a sandwich or something.

Super cute and modern café, friendly staff and delicious food! And the prices are amazing as well! The only thing that's missing is an English menu for international guests ;)

Cute coffee shop in the neighborhood serving breakfast and coffee all day. Good coffee and quick bites.

The space itself is grand and beautiful, but the experience went downhill immediately. The hostess seemed to wield all the power in the room--no smile, barely any eye contact, just a curt and judgmental "no reservation." The restaurant was far from full. She then added, "I only have a side table for you," as if that were some sort of compromise. We accepted. At first glance, the waiters looked well presented, but with a bit more observation, the illusion faded. Some had sagging pants, untucked shirts, and most concerning, repeatedly inappropriate hand placement while on the floor. It happened more than once, which was uncomfortable and distracting (see photo). Overall, the place feels very pretentious without delivering on substance. The food wasn't anything special, and the desserts were average at best and certainly not worth the hype or the attitude. I wouldn't recommend Cafe Imperial to friends, especially if you're expecting a warm welcome or standout desserts.

My omlette was very good, with goat cheese and spinach, and my wife liked her eggs which were sunny side up over some vegetables and a avocado purée. The fresh bread was really good, some sort of wheat rye bread that was dense and filing. The menu for lunch and dinner also looked great, and our server was very friendly. She asked where we were from, and got really excited that my wife grew up in San Francisco. She said that she was a big Jack London fan, and wanted to see where he was from. I hope she gets to go one day!

That said, we had a gorgeous yet really disappointing pancake order here that just wasn't acceptable at all. The pancakes were thick, premade and tasted more like crumpets topped with fruit than pancakes, but what was inexcusable was that the pancakes themselves came out cold and hard. How does that even happen? On the other side of things, the expresso drinks were adequate, the egg dishes were enjoyable, the orange juice was fresh squeezed and the brown bread and butter that comes out (complementary) with breakfast is wonderful. If you do opt to come here, head to egg dishes, their bread and expresso, and away from their not good pancakes.) (Wish they would discontinue or replace the pancakes here. These hard, heavy, cold pancakes bring their morning meal average down a level, considering the other dishes here are a-okay.)

Our hotel was very close to the restaurant and we literally stumbled upon it (when quite hungry after a long travel day) and it quickly became one of my top five dining experiences ever! We visited Prague during the Christmas market season so the restaurant was glowing with holiday spirit. The staff was amazing and the food impeccable. I am still dreaming about this meal. The menu changes frequently but on this cold winter evening, we enjoyed the warm mushroom bisque, a grilled seafood dish with pasta, and the duck breast with gratin potatoes. I have never ordered duck before (other than confit on a salad) and this was "off the charts" delicious! Such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them if you ever make it to this beautiful city!

I tried the celery cream soup to start and it was phenomenal! I would go back just for the soup! I also ordered the crispy chicken thigh with salad and to be honest, I just didn't love it. It was just a "fancy" fried chicken. Nothing really special. I should've tried the pasta or one of the other dishes because I've heard the food here is good. I guess I was just confused by the menu and expected something else. I also got a couple fresh pressed juices to-go for the next morning and they were delicious! I would definitely give this place another shot next time I'm in Prague!

The staff is clearly very well organized and efficient. Service was quick, attentive, and professional. The waiters were elegantly dressed, which added to the classic, old-world charm of the place. We also got lucky and were seated by the window, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely outstanding -- truly one of those meals that makes every cell in your body feel happy. Everything was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and comforting, yet refined. You can tell this is a place that takes pride in doing things right. Yes, it's popular and a bit touristy -- but for a very good reason. Café Louvre lives up to its reputation, combining history, atmosphere, and excellent food with smooth, professional service. We highly recommend checking this place out when visiting Prague. The selection of pastries was nice and enticing. I went for the Savoy cake, which was surprisingly light and not too sweet. I thought the marzipan would overwhelmingly cloy the taste, but it just helped the cake out. The raspberry lemonade wasn't really much home to write about. It was hot outside, so I opted for a cold drink. Maybe next time I'll get a tea/coffee. Service was prompt and efficient, but not super warm. However, I wasn't looking for the latter, so I was fine with that type of service.
