I came to get a pedicure. The person working on me made one of my toes bleed cutting it too short. I came to get my toes done because one of my big toes hurt. So with this in mind, I asked the manager if someone else can just cut my big toe just so it wouldn't be so painful just because it was sensitive. The manager who was cleaning replied it's hurting already it going to hurt regardless. So he told the worker to continue. I told her the last time I came a woman who had helped me made the experience pain free. She did not reply. There was 6 workers. I came in at 12:00pm on a Thursday it was empty the whole time I was here. The workers were on their phone, the manager was the only one cleaning. Right after I had the conversation with the manager she started talking to workers around her and they started laughing. This made me feel like it was at me since the whole time she was quiet and cleaning only right after her conversation she spoke in another language and was laughing. I don't want to assume she was talking about me but it really made me feel insecure and after not taking my request seriously. I had a conversation with manager after my toes were done and I expressed to her how I felt. She apologized however I still felt sad about how I was treated. Me and my mom have been coming here for 5 years and it's very disappointing. I won't be coming back anymore. The photo below is in my car after leaving inail spa. I've been coming here for months now the last two times have been bad experiences. First my acrylics had ridges because I think the polish was old. I asked the nail tech to fix them she seemed upset to repaint my nails. I wanted to give this place another try, I went again, I asked for short square acrylics. A new lady did my set and left the pointer finger acrylic nail crooked, I was embarrassed to ask her to fix it because of the first incident I had with them, it seems like when they mess up and you ask to fix it. They get upset and talk beyond themselves. I found the courage to go back to fix my crooked acrylic nail. The owner fixed it. I won't be doing business at this place again, from my experience I rather go pay more money to another nail salon who are more professional and experienced. You get what you pay for! They need better customer service and hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, you have potential to be a good nail business. read more

I have been coming here for a while now. I feel like over time they just started to care less about how the nails actually come out and just care about taking on more clients. I am disappointed in this last nail set. I had to come back three times in less than ONE WEEK. First time was because they rushed me out the door the first night when I wasn't pleased with my nails, when I came back the second time I wanted a different style because they were literally shit the first time. The third time I came back because 3 of my nails snapped ( which has never happened before in a week) and now two of them have snapped again after I paid an additional 20$ to get the broken nails fixed. I would go back to get them fixed again but honestly going to find another place. This review isn't to necessarily bash them, it's for them to do better, take their time, ask costumers if they are pleased, and stop using flimsy nails when I pay 120$ for just a french tip set. I waited 30 but that's ok, it's covid still and they have limited staff plus I was a walk in. I never got his name but the manager did my nails! He did exactly what I asked and I was in love with the work I did. I was pressed for time as I forgot about an appointment had for 1:30 and asked if I was getting my pedi still and told him about my appointment. He quickly got someone to do my pedi and this dude was awesome too! I felt I had time for a sugar scrub and he rubbed my legs and feet nicely and it was so relaxing. They did amazing. My go to nail spot in Montclair. They do great work and the prices are reasonable too. I live close by so I tend to walk in, sometimes I'll make an appointment but I go early so the waits never bad. The location is always clean and sanitary, the staff is friendly and welcoming plus they move efficiently I'm usually out in under 2 hours and that's great when you're an acrylic girl like me. I won't lie and say they're my #1, they don't have a lot of the extra bling and powders I like but if I'm going for a classic well done set/ fill with a simple design then it's great. I used to come here often, but lately the quality has been really bad and I feel like it's all rushed work. Last week I decided to take a chance and try them out again since the other place I go to was super busy. I instantly regret it... The lady who did my nails didn't use cuticle softener on my nails and when she was cutting my cuticles, it didn't feel good. When she shaped my nails, I felt like it was rushed because there were still some sharp parts to it and I had to fix it when I got home. The worst thing was when she started painting my nails. She didn't use any gel bond on my nails and she was rushing when it came to drying them. Usually other nail techs will ask me to put my hands in the dryer a couple times. She took my hands halfway it drying and started to put on another coat. Now a week later and my nails are chipping. The gel part chipped and crack and I had to cut my nails because it started snag on my clothes. It's only been a week... I'm very disappointed. I've given this place a couple of tries since it went down hill and now I won't be coming back.... it's unfortunate for them to rush because they get busy... Taylor and Steve put so much love and work to there job. I don't leave close by. But it's always worth the drive. I've never had issues with my nails. The amount of money I have spent here...to be treated like garbage blows my mind! I get the most expensive pedicure THE WORKS lol...gel for my acrylic set and toes. I tip $10 to each nail tech. I went to get a full set of French tips for my birthday and the man in my picture is extremely rude. After 4 days of getting the full set, two of the acrylic nails already came off and the acrylic lifted off of my fingers (I work part-time behind a computer so no heavy lifting is involved). I went back to get my nails fixed and told him how I expect my nails to last more than four days. He says "Well go to another place" and continued to fix my nails and burned me with the file at least two times. He is the man in my picture and I will not be going back there anytime soon.
