The friend chicken katsu dish was yummy! I haven't had a katsu fried like that. It had a thinner more airy breading than traditional Japanese katsu and it was slightly sweet. The teriyaki chicken was delicious. Service was no frills and friendly.

OK so I had this lady tell me that this teriyaki was so good and the people are so nice so I decided to go and give it a shot. The lady at the front was very nice. The teriyaki is the worst I've ever had sorry The sauce is very thick and does not really taste like teriyaki sauce and the dressing for the salad was just as thick. I'm sure the family likes thick sauce not my favorite.

Teriyaki sauce is gelatinous and doesn't taste good. No ginger dressing for salad, no vegetables as a side. Lots of teriyaki restaurants around, skip this place.

This is their spicy noodle soup ‍

I ordered a hot spicy noodle soup through GrubHub. What I got appeared to be a package of top ramen cooked with a couple slices of fresh carrot and broccoli. Not worth $10.62 that I got charged. The shrimp fried rice and chicken teriyaki was ok; otherwise, this review might've been 1 star.

Spicy Tuna Roll

Overall just a hard pass. "Prawns" had a terrible odor. Teriyaki sauce was so unbelievably thick and sweet not edible. Spicy Tuna roll did not come... rolled and hardly any tuna Bibimbap also had almost no meat. Crunch Roll was the only decent dish but even that was below average at best.

The food wasn't tasty, burnt chicken, o flavor... AND on top of it, I got food poisoning. Definitely never coming back to this place.

We were one of two parties dining in on weekday lunch hour - there are many tables for dine in or the location is easy for takeout. It is very clean inside. Between 3 adults we shared the crispy rice appetizer w/tuna and a few rolls. It was plenty for all three of us and we left full. All of the food was fresh and delicious! The crispy rice was surprisingly not too greasy and you could share among 4 adults (if you split and each want a bite) or they are easy to consume before you know... While I enjoyed everything we ordered, my favorites were the H2 and Perfect Wave rolls. Took the chicken katsu curry to go and my husband inhaled it at home. Pricing is what you would expect for this area and was justified by the quality of food. Benny is very friendly and personable. He left a great impression with us for our first time dining in. We will definitely be back!

Salad was tasty, potato croquette was good and the salmon very fresh. It comes with a bowl of miso. Overall bento box portion was very big and we would order again in our future visits. The crispy rice appetizer topped with salmon was pretty delicious. Deep fried cube of rice topped with small chunks of salmon covered in light sauce. The Agedashi tofu was ok. I have had better elsewhere. It was very basic with deep fried soft tofu in tsuyu (soy sauce liked) sauce. The dragon roll was pretty tasty too. I would definitely return for a quite casual meal.

We got a table almost immediately, as we did get there relatively early around 11:30 AM. The place was already somewhat busy, but there were a number of available tables. We all picked a different sushi roll, I chose the Miyabi roll, which was very good. Our service and server was very good, guided us through the menu as best as she could. All in all it was a great lunch, with a nice active lunch scene and busy vibe. Thank you

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

I almost don't want to leave a review, space is already limited. :)…read more The fish is so fresh, the chef tells you exactly where everything is from, and freshly grated wasabi. I always just get sashimi, so I can't speak to anything else. Since it is a one man operation it is reservation only and no take out. Very much worth it to take the effort and make a reservation. You do have to put a $40/person deposit but it gets refunded once you pay for your meal. There is street parking available. The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. This might be my personal opinion but Because it's only one group, I hoped it would have been a little more interactive, like the chef could have explained his technique and skills while we were waiting or at least let us see what he was doing. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend
