This shit was better than I expected but the portion were a little small for my liking but overall I'd eat here again. Oh yeah! I felt like they needed an update on menu pictures so yall welcome

    Prawn teriyaki with side salad

Was craving some Asian food tonight but I was too lazy to drive far and luckily I found bucks on Yelp and it's in walking distance of my apartment. I ordered the prawn teriyaki and it was a good sized portion and it was satisfying! I'd say the only down side is that the teriyaki sauce was a little too salty for me, so a little goes a long way.

    Chicken Katsu

I want to start off by saying the lady is very rude. She told me to never come back after I asked her to make my food fresh because my chicken was dried out. and hard as a rock the person who cooked my food understood where I was coming from and explained that he cut it too thin and overcooked it and apologized but the lady kept cursing me out and told me and my kids to leave. I do not recommend coming to this location. your Better off at the location in Kent, Washington. Where they are friendly, and treat their customers with respect. And leave them coming back for more. please do not waste your money at this location. It is not worth it.

    Hot tea!
    Jessica K.

We came in around 8pm and there was no one there. I thought that meant our food would take forever. We ordered, got our drinks, I got some hot tea, and barely had time to take a picture of the tea when the food showed up! I was kind of scared. Food that arrives that fast can't be good. But I was wrong. Everything was steaming hot, fresh, and delicious! We will definitely be coming back to Teriyaki Wok!

Katsu and spicy chicken teriyaki were delicious! Took about 10 or less minutes for my order to be ready and portions were great.

Bucks is a classic Teryaki spot with good portions and service. I recommend the Spicy Chicken Teryaki and the egg flower soup.

We were one of two parties dining in on weekday lunch hour - there are many tables for dine in or the location is easy for takeout. It is very clean inside. Between 3 adults we shared the crispy rice appetizer w/tuna and a few rolls. It was plenty for all three of us and we left full. All of the food was fresh and delicious! The crispy rice was surprisingly not too greasy and you could share among 4 adults (if you split and each want a bite) or they are easy to consume before you know... While I enjoyed everything we ordered, my favorites were the H2 and Perfect Wave rolls. Took the chicken katsu curry to go and my husband inhaled it at home. Pricing is what you would expect for this area and was justified by the quality of food. Benny is very friendly and personable. He left a great impression with us for our first time dining in. We will definitely be back!

Salad was tasty, potato croquette was good and the salmon very fresh. It comes with a bowl of miso. Overall bento box portion was very big and we would order again in our future visits. The crispy rice appetizer topped with salmon was pretty delicious. Deep fried cube of rice topped with small chunks of salmon covered in light sauce. The Agedashi tofu was ok. I have had better elsewhere. It was very basic with deep fried soft tofu in tsuyu (soy sauce liked) sauce. The dragon roll was pretty tasty too. I would definitely return for a quite casual meal.

We got a table almost immediately, as we did get there relatively early around 11:30 AM. The place was already somewhat busy, but there were a number of available tables. Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. This might be my personal opinion but Because it's only one group, I hoped it would have been a little more interactive, like the chef could have explained his technique and skills while we were waiting or at least let us see what he was doing. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

The table wait was minimal and totally acceptable. The room was simple (a good thing), and the restaurant's popularity made for a busy but relaxed atmosphere. Our greeter/server was efficient and polite. The sushi was surprising good! Perfectly cooked sushi-rice, and well proportioned topping of fish and other ingredients made for enjoyable bites. The sushi chefs are well trained and talented. Definitely recommend sampling their selections of sushi. You won't be disappointed. Five stars for this. Now for the grill part. Yakisoba is usually a grill item, as it's a stir-fried noodle dish, with it's distinctive Japanese flavor profile, and ingredients. Unfortunately, this was a miss. Though the soy-sauce coloring was correct, the flavor profile was not. The amount of beef in it was acceptable, but the other components were a miss. The only vegetable component was shaved-like slices of small zucchini which I could count with one hand. That seemed to treated more like a garnish, than a component of the dish. Had the grill-cook finished it with a drizzle of tonkatsu-sauce, it would've been closer to what was suggested on the menu. They should rename it "pan-fried beef-noodles" instead. Sure wasn't Beef Yakisoba. Other than that, table-side service was excellent, and the sushi was first rate. Just not the "yakisoba", cuz it wasn't. I will upgrade and edit this review if a few things are fixed.
