Service was quick and friendly. I went with a cinnamon roll, two plain bagels, and two cookies: one ultimate chocolate chip and one peanut butter. I also got cream cheese for the bagel. The cinnamon roll was huge, pillowy, and very delicious. It was a little light on the cinnamon for my tastes, but I would definitely get it again. The bagels were pretty good. Nothing amazing, but a solid bagel chewy texture with good flavor. The cream cheese seemed to be whipped, which was a thoughtful touch. The cookies were huge, and both had a nice soft texture and rich flavor. The ultimate chocolate chip seemed to have maybe a caramel swirl along with chocolate chips. Very decadent! And the peanut butter was rich and chewy, with good peanut butter flavor. This place is a bit of a drive from me, but I will definitely be back some Sunday in the future to try some more of their extensive and tasty offerings.

Grab some specialty coffee from Storm coffee in town got in our car and headed down the road for a long road trip. Popped open the goods and immediately was met with disappointment . The raspberry tart was ice cold and hard maybe partially frozen? Likewise, the sausage turnover was very cold inside. Not sure if that's how they sell them. In my opinion they should offer to at least heat them up or warn the customer that they're not ready to eat. On the good side, the chocolate chip cookies were delicious. Unfortunately, we were too far down the road and did not have time to return. This is not a condemnation on Turner bakery because I've heard nothing but fabulous things but this was just our first experience unfortunately but we will be back but we will ask more questions obviously . Not sure if these are refrigerated from the previous day or night or they got that cold from opening till 11 AM when we picked them up? Super good ice cream in tubs from Umpqua. Was walking back to the room and had to stop for some dessert and am I glad I made that choice because the Vanilla Bean is some of the best I've had. High quality cream here and I love how thick the Vanilla Bean was. This is how real ice cream should be enjoyed. Definitely noting this one because it's going to be enjoyed all seasons of the year whenever I return to visit SMC. The Mountain Blackberry Revel was good too, but not as good as the Vanilla Bean. You can skip the Caramel Macadamia Crunch, the name sounds cool and appealing, but it's not that special. Not only is it locally owned, but they do all the little things that most coffee shops don't do anymore (especially the large chains). They still do punch cards, they compensate you if drinks take longer than usual, they add whip and bean to drinks for free, free pup cups/dog treats, their sizes are fairly large for the price, they don't ask for tip, they don't ask you to "sign up online" or for your ID for a free bday drink, they do things for the local community regularly...I could go on and on! And all these little things are the things that keep me coming back time and time again over going to Starbucks or Dutch Bros...and that isn't even getting into how DELICIOUS the coffee is! They do a wonderful job at creating new drinks each month and they take care in making each drink the right way (mixing the flavor in with the espresso etc). Their syrups are top tier too! The employees are usually young adults that live in Dallas, and are always super sweet....maybe they don't chat you up as much as Dutch Bros, but some of us don't want that. And the prices are on par with every other coffee shop in 2026.
