I don't usually write reviews, but I couldn't help leaving one for this company. From the very first call to schedule the appointment, they were professional and friendly. When my situation changed, they were incredibly accommodating--rearranging their schedule and moving my appointment up when another customer canceled. Arlondo and Ky were fantastic. They were polite, helpful, and professional, even while tackling a difficult job that involved a heavy TV and a wall with electrical wiring. I hang tvs hung a tv for me and it fell due to improper installation. They wanted me to pay a service fee of 99.00 to reinstall it, which is what I paid for the first time. Rip off. I wouldn't recommend them at all. read more

Here are the facts: Ferlando was hired to hang 2 TVs with a stationary mount on Wall A and adjustable mount on Wall B.  His workers did just the opposite. Workers could not get one TV operable and suggested I call the cable company. The cable man wrote the following about Ferlando's employees work: "(1) didn't make coax outlet, just punched hole in wall with screwdriver; (2) didn't hook cable box up to TV or sound bar properly; (3) hooked cable box up to dead coax in attic & didn't remove old line." The cable man did what I paid Ferlando to do. When expressed to Ferlando the remarks from the cable man, he responded, "what does that mean? That doesn't make sense." I went on to express that I was not satisfied and  I would not use him again. He said, "okay". He simply did not care, but if enough comments like this role in, he will care. read more

The estimate they gave me was incorrect. The service was terrible and they still tried to charge me after they failed at delivering what was promised. I'll never do business with a black business owner again. He's very dishonest and unprofessional. read more

If there was a way to give negative stars, I would. DO NOT hire "We Hang TVs" (aka, "I Hang TVs") unless you want to be completely ripped off and get shoddy work! I hired We Hang TVs to mount my 70" TV on the wall in July 2017. When Ferlando Parker (owner) and his son came to hang the TV they were in a huge hurry and knocked it against my wooden coffee table breaking the TV. Any other legitimate, reputable, respectable company would have gone out at that moment, bought a replacement TV and came back in the same day to hang it. Nope, not this shyster and his fly-by-night company. Ferlando told me he had to file a claim with his insurance company first before they could replace it. It was the Friday before the 4th of July holiday and apparently the insurance company was already closed. I just so happened to be off work for six weeks with a broken back and could do absolutely nothing except watch TV. Needless to say, a TV was very important to me during that time. Instead, I was calling We Hang TVs every day for the entire SIX (6) WEEKS trying to find out when they would bring me a replacement TV. Quinetta, their office manager, told me they were negotiating with their insurance company. Farmers Insurance called me within a couple of days to investigate what happened. Farmers told me that Ferlando Parker had chosen the cheapest insurance coverage, and it did not cover TVs they break. Farmers said they do not guarantee his work because hanging TVs is his business and they are supposed to know how to hang TVs. She said if he had broken my coffee table, the insurance would have covered the cost of the table. He didn't break the table. He broke the TV. Farmers also said they have had nothing but trouble out of him ever since they insured him and said, "they break TVs all the time." So, after talking to Farmers in the first week, what was there to actually negotiate for six weeks? When Ferlando FINALLY brought me a TV on August 12th (again, six weeks later) only AFTER I had to hire a lawyer just to make the phone call because my phone calls were obviously not working, the TV was already out of the box and mounted on a stand. I asked him why a brand-new TV was out of the box and mounted on the stand since it was going to be hung on my wall. He said they always take them out of the box to make sure they work before mounting them on the wall. I figured (knew) he was lying, but after waiting six weeks I was just glad he finally brought me a TV, and it was the same name brand and size. When they tried to get it off the stand, he said the screws were stripped on the brackets and the brackets would not come off the bottom of the TV. He said he would send a repairman the next day to get the brackets off the TV. At this point I couldn't take any more of his complete asinine ridiculousness, so I told him to get out of my house, and I would hire someone else to hang it. I then hired Best Buy to come hang the TV. They could not get the brackets off either because the screws were so stripped. Not only that, the Best Buy technician told me the TV Ferlando brought me was older than mine because it had 3 sets of red/yellow cables (old technology) and VGA cables which were already a few years out of date. When I called the manufacturer with the serial numbers, I found out that the "brand new" TV Ferlando brought me was four years older than mine that he broke. The Best Buy tech also told me they have to clean up behind him all the time. He said We Hang TVs hung 30 TVs in a nursing home near our area, and four of them fell off the wall. Best Buy had to go re-hang those 30 TVs. The tech also told me he could not use the cheap extension cord that Ferlando left coming out of my wall because it was a fire hazard. He said I would need a power bridge kit and installation. [See pictures of Ferlando's wall bracket with white cheap cord and all the wires on the floor he supposedly had hidden.] By this time, I was furious. I haven't gone to work every single day since I was 16 years old (except for 6 weeks with a broken back and no TV) just for the fun of it, so I don't take too kindly to someone stealing my money or ripping me off. Therefore, I filed a small claims lawsuit -- not just to recover part of my money but also because of all his lies, the aggravation, countless phone calls, and ludicrous length of time it took for Ferlando to bring me a replacement TV which is 4 years older than mine. Although I won the lawsuit, the judge did not award me full price for the TV since it was some months old and had depreciated according to him. The judge awarded me $1,000 plus court cost to be paid by Ferlando Parker. That was not nearly the amount I spent, but it was at least a win and something for my troubles. That was in February 2018.
