Turns out they pretty much have the best deal there is anymore as prices of the most basic Internet plans have gone up so that there's not really such thing as "deals" anymore. But there are still some discounts if you get paperless billing statements, pay by bank account instead of credit card, and have autopay set up. All in all, we learned some things and although they didn't have a free modem promo unless you changed up to a better Internet plan, at least I found out that what my folks are paying isn't too bad and they weren't being had. Looking out for our elders who are quite intimidated by tech. We asked about mobile plans too, but for now it seems my folks didn't need to upgrade so their basic plan is good. The store is big, clean, bright, calming, I think all of that is to create an atmosphere where they can talk you into a better, higher plan, but there really wasn't any pressure sales, and the staff who helped us was friendly and honest, telling us that what my folks got is the best value there is unless a seasonal promo comes up. Thanks Xfinity. For the most part, it's not too bad minus 1 Star for occasional outages.

I switched from Cricket to T-mobile and got my new phones and ported my numbers at this store, so I've been their customer at one point and they've made money from me. Today I went to the store and request a suspension to my cousin's line because he went back to China and won't be back till later this year. Also I sold my Apple Watch, so I wanted to cancel the line for the watch. I had done some homework before my visit to the store. I know that suspending a line will drop the monthly charge for that line to $10/mo for 90 days. And I can do that twice a year. What they told me initially was T-mobile just recently increased to $20. I said ok go ahead. Then they told me I would still have to pay my regular monthly cost even if I suspended the line. I asked if that's the case, what suspension is for? Their answer is for in case I lose my device and temporarily shut off that line. So there is no point to suspend my cousin's line and just continue to pay whatever my monthly cost just to keep the line active. Then I asked what about my Apple Watch line. Can they cancel it for me. They said for that I'll have to call T-Mobile customer service. Ok. I have no problem for that. Went home and called T-mobile. Got both matters settled in 5mins. These guys may only be helpful when you provide value(in Dollars) to them. And even for that matter, after reading other review for this store, they still fuxx it up. Avoid for your own good.

    This is an update to my previous review…read more I am writing a humble note of appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by  Barbara, manager of the Meadowview location, who reached out to apologize for the poor service I received from the employee mentioned in my previous review.  I scheduled a visit with Barbara on Jan 26 in which she answered my questions and much more about recapturing storage space, removing the clock app, making sure photos are stored in the cloud, replacing the protective glass, how to delete my email signature, and international calling.  Though a half dozen people came into the store during the time I was there, she expertly handled all the questions expeditiously, and I never felt rushed.  In one instance, I observed 2 people who came in to say that they were confused about their charges.  Barbara nicely indicated that they would need to contact billing.  As they explained further, Barbara made the decision to call the main office to personally straighten out their billing issues.  Additionally, she suggested putting the two phones on a more cost effective payment plan. The customers not only got their billing mystery solved, but left with a better cell plan within 7 minutes.  That's customer service above and beyond expectations.   Summarizing, in her soft spoken way, Barbara quietly and adroitly handles problems that arise with customers. She explains things clearly and succinctly.  Her listening skills are outstanding. Her knowledge of the numerous technical details are impressive. She exceeds customer expectations.  Many companies value this skill set that translates across vertical industries.  I'm a happy customer and I will continue to be one as long as Barbara is there.
