Wow, has this company gone DOWN HILL. With no notice they raised my bill. I tried calling them to downgrade (I don't stream movies much at all) and sat on hold forever. Then I took advantage of their recorded voice offer to call me back. They never did. That means that I was sitting on hold that entire time FOR NOTHING. Same thing happened this morning when I tried to call them, still trying to reach them about the same thing, and no response, an no call back (again). Then I look at their web site and they've got notices on there that they have office space and servers available to rent. I guess times are tough now. I can't imagine why with a service decline like this compared to the past. This company used to be responsive and human and real and timely. Now you're on hold for no reason at all (they're never going to pick up) and forever, with raspy, terrible music that's like torture to have to listen to. I'm going to have to find an alternative. This company has LOST ITS WAY. There is NO EXCUSE for leaving customers on hold forever knowing full well you are NEVER going to put a human on to take the call, and you are NEVER going to return the call after offering to. No one needs yet another business run like this, and I'm not rewarding it with my money after putting me through this and wasting my time like this over multiple days. read more

Succeed.net installed my fixed-wireless internet recently, and the tech, James, was professional, personable and quick. The speed is as advertised - my downloads are about 24 Mbps. We've had no buffering, even when streaming HD video much of the day. We typically use about 650 GB per month, so the advertised 1 TB data cap is more than enough for two retired adults. We've had no outgages. We live in an old mobile home park where only very slow DSL is available, so succeed.net was the only way for us to get fast and reliable internet at a reasonable price. We have had their service for 10+ years. (Was Pulsarco before) Used to be reliable and steady. I even referred about half dozen customers after clearwire left area. Not why they find it necessary to cheapen the service lately. Service this past 6 months have been horrible. Their after-hours tech support is worthless. This Company is the biggest joke. Don't waste your time. Their service might be good but I'll never know. They refused to do the install saying it was just too dangerous. I own a standard two story track home. Its not a difficult install for someone who isn't a complete bone head. When I called and talk with Dale Carthouse he said its just not possible for it to be done. They would much rather refuse business and waste time than to try and problem solve. All they needed to get the job done safely was get a longer ladder. The first tech that came out was a complete moron and suggested I put my router on the corner of my couch. Who would do that? The second time they came out the Lead Tech and manger and I all agreed on where to put it and all they needed was a longer ladder. That was on a Monday they left saying we will call you when they can do the install. On Friday I called them after not hearing back from them. They told me they were refusing my business. I don't know how this company is even in business if they can't do a standard house like mine. BTW I run a commercial painting company and am highly trained in ladder safety. I would Like to hear Dale's excuse on the lack of communication. Funny how he didn't breach that subject. read more

Leaving a new updated review after having succeeded for well over a year and a half. I live out of town, where the internet is very expensive and typically nowhere near the top speeds you can find in town. I pay for the best package I can get, 50Mb download & 7 Upload. The issue is peak hours. So think anything between 4ish-11ish p.m., when everyone is home and on the internet. I was seeing slowdowns on my download from 20-35 download and my upload would take a 1-2Mb hit at least. If you're a power user and/or gamer you're going to see a slow down during these times & constant lag spikes while playing online games that are not turn-based. If you just browse the internet and stream movies you'll probably be alright. I've called countless times & started many tickets to get this issue permanently resolved. Only for the issue to be gone for less than a couple of days & be right back every single time. They eventually told me last October they had upgrades planned for the butte tower (more access points) in February. Well, I said okay I'll stop bugging them multiple times a week to fix my internet till then. Fast forward months and it's now February, I call support & ask if the upgrades are started, they then tell me, no, the upgrades got pushed to May...another couple of months of having lag spikes & my internet speed potentially getting cut in half for around 7 hours every day. Whatever, I'll wait it out again. Now it's May, I call again and ask about the "planned" upgrades for the butte towers. They tell me we never had upgrades planned? Are you kidding me, so support was lying to me the whole time or what? This was the most frustrated I've been with them. I just want consistent internet, considering I pay almost $200 for my plan. I really think that once Starlink is in the area they are going to have some serious competition. Succeed used to be great, but if what they are telling me is true over the phone, overcrowding of the access points on the tower is what is causing the issues & nothing is in the works to get it resolved that I know of. The only other company that is reasonable to get for my area is digital path, but they only have a 10 & 2 download/upload plan, which just is not enough for my household. If someone else could provide the same that succeed does I would have already switched. read more

They oversold their bandwidth on wireless DSL. There's horrible connection quality (latency, packet loss, lowered bandwidth) on weekends or holidays. Oblivious tech support and unhelpful, rude managers. If it's not a simple 'restart your modem/router,' you can't be helped. Unless you're just checking email or surfing the web, this is not the service for you; bandwidth is limited to 3 GB per day, or 50 GB per month. For wireless DSL: ~0.5-2% constant packet loss, highly unstable latency (spikes in excess of 1000ms), far lower than promised bandwidth (.2 Mbps at times) and a highly congested network on weekends and holidays, resulting in even worse latency and up to 20% constant packet loss. If you play video games, stream movies or do anything that requires full use of your bandwidth, this will be a game breaker at times. read more

Used them for a few years. Moved three times during that period and each time moved my own antenna and set it up at the new location, sidestepping a pricey and unnecessary tech appointment to do same. It ain't rocket science. Dug in my own underground burial rated CAT5E cable, erected support pole, etc. After the last move, I had enough of speeds not even close to the rated speeds. No, it wasn't 'cause of my installation as sometimes speeds were ok. Called to inquire about improvement and was told they could provide a bi-polar antenna that should improve matters. Also, they mentioned the "...big pine tree..." in the path to the tower was likely the culprit. I informed the tech that it "... wasn't there anymore..." and finally that I'd moved and set up the antenna myself. He became irate and informed me that I was being cut off from tech support from now on. I guess I hurt his feelings... Anyway, contacted Robert Lavelock to complain about this and he scolded me soundly for moving my own antenna-- which I'd done without incident twice before-- and promised to re-instate tech support, but I wasn't EVER to do that again. I believe having the tech move the antenna would've incurred a significant ($100) charge. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. This was a few years ago. So the tech came out and swapped out the old-style antenna for a new, bi-polar. I had clear line-of-sight to the tower about 3.5 km away. Still speeds were well below advertised 6 Gb/sec. A few more calls produced no results, despite my mentioning that if I went to the store and paid for a six-pack and they gave me only two or three beers, I simply would not pay nor go back to that store. Apparently the elegance of my metaphor escaped them. "Six gigs MAXIMUM..." I was told, and that it was normal to only get two, three, or four on a six gig account. So I called Digital Path and had them set up their antenna side-by-side with Succeed's and ran them both for a month. DP promised six gigs and delivered speeds consistently within 10%, and usually very close to the full six. Heck, sometimes they were delivering MORE than six gigs. No-brainer. More courteous service and better connection. Dropped Succeed and went with Digital Path and I've been with them ever since. Seldom does the connection fail or slow down, and, when it does, a call to their tech support line gets the problem fixed expediently. Maybe Succeed.net's service and product have improved since my experience. Don't know. Check out other reviewer's comments. All I know is that I don't need to find out. Digital Path has "succeeded" in delivering what they promise consistently for the past few years, whereas Succeed.net "failed," but I have to admit that if they'd gone with the more honest "Failed.net" epithet, I probably would never have tried them in the first place. In fairness, again, this was a few years ago. I stuck with Succeed.net for more than five years. Again, in the interest of fairness, perhaps they've improved, so do check more reports for reviewers more current experiences... or just get a 30-day trial with Digital Path and see if they can give you the connection you are looking for. Month-by-month billing means you can drop them anytime if they fail to perform for you. Two-year contract required for Succeed.net, thought they offer a thirty-day money-back guarantee. Hey! You could have both installed and run them side-by-side and ditch the one that doesn't perform. How about that idea? read more

They consistently have reliable connectivity and the best customer service and technical support of any utility or telecom company. Service kept getting slower over the months after installation. Tech support often very slow to respond - could be several days before anyone bothered to call. Service down frequently. After months of complaining we were finally told that there were too many trees in the area (for months we had been told the problem was at our end). There are no more trees now than there were last year! Very disappointed with Succeed. Very slow, often dial-up speeds, and very poor tech support. I do NOT recommend this company. read more

I am currently frustrated with succeed.net. If my wife would not be up set I would cancel the service or the service I've been trying to get since May 24, 2017. I can find anyone in a supervisor capacity that will call me back.. This is been gong on for two weeks. Tech support folks are as frustrated as I am. I am now on hold waiting for some fathom person to come on the line that can straighten it out. I don't hold much help. There seems to be too many layers within this organization with too many security measures that nothing can get done. Tech support can't solve the problem. Calling in can't solve the problem. I'm told my account has been canceled. Interesting since it never has been activated even though I paid all the fees up front in May 2017. The most frustrating part is no one from administration will call me back and I can't get an email or phone number to call anyone except the office which limited as to what then can do. read more
