Then they contacted us a week later and said they were going to be in our area, so if we'd like them to come out tomorrow, they can. These guys came out, talked to my husband who told them he wanted the equivalent to "a little off the top, not a buzz cut." They said no problem, and got right to work. My husband and I watched them work while we had our morning coffee, because it was so satisfying to watch, and so interesting. Especially the guy who climbed the trees with a chainsaw strapped to his belt, tying himself to the tree so he could hack away at the branches. They were efficient, and they were very careful with the things in our backyard, making sure falling branches weren't damaging anything. They cleaned off our patio so well, you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. We're SO happy with their work. Our trees all have very nice "haircuts", and it's made such a difference in how our yard looks. They made it very aesthetically pleasing. We're totally going to use them again in 2 years when we have to trim those trees again.

These guys spent a whole day, with the whole team, clearing all of the deadwood and brush that didn't belong. Then the winter hit and boy howdy was I glad I'd had all of that cleaned up. The winds get up to 80mph & all of that deadwood would surely have caused damage. Since then, they've done a hard cut every other year, with soft cuts on the opposite years. They are my tree guys & I plan to keep them forever. They show up on time, do what they say they will do, treat my property as if it was their own, act respectful in interactions & more. Very professional. They are the most reasonably priced in town, too. And I like the fact that this company participates in all sorts of community activities. They give back to their community, to Orangevale. If you live in Orangevale, these are your tree guys.

We highly recommend We Care Tree Care to all potential customers…read more After several high winds last December, a big branch of one of our trees broke threatening to crash into our neighbor's yard. We solicited estimates from four tree service companies. Of these, Michael Fisher, owner of We Care Tree Care, impressed us the most. He inspected every aspect of the problem tree. He also looked at other trees on our property. Finally, he gave us the most detailed analysis and recommendation. So, we decided to go with We Care Tree Care. We are so glad we did. Michael Fisher and his team arrived on time on January 12, 2026. They did a spectacular job trimming our two elm trees and one maple tree. They went above and beyond what they had quoted us to trim the big maple tree. Finally, they removed all the broken branches and debris and left behind a very clean job site. During the cleanup process, however, some cables connected to our satellite dish were inadvertently knocked off our roof. Michael wasn't aware of this. On discovering it, we asked Michael to come back and put the cables back. Without hesitation, Michael came back, climbed on our roof, and secured the cables to the house. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty to make these cables tight and secure for years to come. In sum, we think Michael and his team did a stellar job with trimming our trees. Plus Michael did a great follow-up job restoring and securing our satellite cables. Michael Fisher and We Care Tree Care are surely our go-to tree guys going forward. We highly recommend them to all their potential customers.

In late October, we had a roof leak. The roofer who fixed the leak suggested we clear the large…read moretree limbs hanging over the roof (which had contributed to the debris buildup that led to the leak). We got three tree care quotes, and ended up choosing Jesus (the owner of this company), even though his was the highest bid. The main reason was Jesus, who grew up learning from his dad Jose (a long-time tree care crew of a different tree service company). Jesus clearly cared a lot about the trees (e.g., making sure the trimming project would leave the trees healthy), while understanding our needs. So, he suggested changes to some of the limbs and locations of the cut I had envisioned, and explained why. I also liked the fact that he and his dad, along with a few other crew members, would be working on this project. Time line: Originally, I had left a voice mail (Tue), he called back the following day (Wed) to arrange a visit in two days (Fri). On Friday, he gave a verbal quote. I informed him of our decision to go with him the next day (Sat). He emailed a written contract on Monday, and they came early that afternoon to complete the project. We are very happy with the result, and will follow up with his suggestion on maintenance work in a year or so.

After consulting three licensed arborists, receiving the same removal recommendations, we chose Kent Arborist Services to do the job. Mr. David Powell provided a written estimate detailing the work to be completed along with pricing for each of the 4 phases of the job which included additional tree trimming work. The job was more comprehensive yet was priced lower than the two other bids received. The job took 2 full days and commenced on Monday, 12/16/13 with Mr. Powell and the crew supervisor onsite at 7:30am. I walked the site with Mr. Powell and the supervisor and went over the 4 Phases provided on my written estimate The crew showed up at 7:40am prepping their tools and work began promptly at 8:00am and ended at dusk as previously agreed upon. The entire crew was outfitted in safety equipment, used proper tools and equipment, and was efficient and hard working. We chose to keep all of the oak which was cut into reasonably sized pieces and stacked in predetermined areas. The redwood and tree trimmings were chipped and removed offsite. Stump grinding was state of the art using a remote controlled machine. I was impressed with its precision and efficiency. My yard was left free of tree debris and the roof and gutters were cleaned out as well. The job was completed on time and for the price agreed upon. Kudos to Mr. David Powell and the crew at Kent Arborist Services for a job well done. They deserve every one of these 5 stars.
