In late October, we had a roof leak. The roofer who fixed the leak suggested we clear the large tree limbs hanging over the roof (which had contributed to the debris buildup that led to the leak). We got three tree care quotes, and ended up choosing Jesus (the owner of this company), even though his was the highest bid. The main reason was Jesus, who grew up learning from his dad Jose (a long-time tree care crew of a different tree service company). Jesus clearly cared a lot about the trees (e.g., making sure the trimming project would leave the trees healthy), while understanding our needs. So, he suggested changes to some of the limbs and locations of the cut I had envisioned, and explained why. I also liked the fact that he and his dad, along with a few other crew members, would be working on this project. Time line: Originally, I had left a voice mail (Tue), he called back the following day (Wed) to arrange a visit in two days (Fri). On Friday, he gave a verbal quote. I informed him of our decision to go with him the next day (Sat). He emailed a written contract on Monday, and they came early that afternoon to complete the project. We had a Cherry Plum tree that had been attacked by boring bugs. We needed help fast before it spread to other trees in our yard as well as my neighbor's. I called Arbor Evergreen based on the number of 5-star reviews I saw on Yelp. OMG were the reviews spot on about this company. I called in the late morning and they were here within an hour to give me an estimate. I had the large plum tree as we as a huge stump from another plum tree with it's above ground root system that needed removing. Their pricing was beyond fair, so much so that I asked them to complete all of the work listed on the itemized bill I requested. The next morning this father/son & brother team were here. They completed removal of the tree, grinding the stump as well as removing the old stump that had to be done with an axe, shovel and hoe, all within their quoted time frame. They left no trimmings behind, not a leaf, just open space from the now removed tree. The area where the old stump had been was raked and cleaned up so well you'd never have known it was there in the first place. Jesus said he'd come back to plant a replacement tree when we are ready. Great experience with Jesus and Arbor Evergreen Enterprises from bid to job completion. I contacted a couple of companies to get estimates on some trees and stumps to remove from my yard. Arbor Evergreen was quick to respond and set up a time to check out what work needed to be done. Jesus arrived the next and and quickly and professionally provided a reasonable quote for the project.
