I was in the area, so I just stopped by the dealership and was promptly greeted by Brittany. She helped me find the car and she took me on a demo drive. The price was fair, and I decided to buy the car right then. During the demo, we discovered an issue with the rear tires, and they arrange to have them replaced. Kali did all the paperwork and she was efficient and friendly. In fact, the whole team was great. This was a quick and no-hassle deal. I'll definitely be back the next time I need another car.

ONE STAR -- Extremely Disappointing Experience... possibly deceptive practices…read more My experience with Birmingham Luxury Motors was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. A mistake was made on their end, but instead of simply acknowledging it and working toward a fair solution, they tried to make it sound like there was an issue with the vehicle history report. I personally followed up with three other car dealers, and all three confirmed that the Carfax was perfectly clear. Even after that, Birmingham Luxury Motors would not concede to what I felt was a very reasonable $1,500 adjustment. Instead, I felt like I was being lowballed while the explanation for the situation continued to change. The communication was just as frustrating. I repeatedly had to chase them for updates instead of being kept informed. Andy was particularly difficult to deal with, and while Mary is apparently brand new, the overall handling of the transaction made an already frustrating situation even worse. When you're dealing with a luxury vehicle purchase, transparency, communication, and accountability should be the bare minimum. I did not feel I received any of those here. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend doing your homework and considering other dealerships before doing business with Birmingham Luxury Motors.

I appreciated how they kept me in the loop with texts during the process, which took a little less than an hour. I had made an appointment prior online which was a very easy process and definitely how I'll make all my future appointments. FYI, for anyone who's new to this dealership or unfamiliar with Birmingham: there are 2 bays/doors on the left on 13th Street North, which is a one way street. For Subaru service, enter the 2nd bay. Pull forward and someone will come out to assist. They'll move your vehicle to the service garage and when complete, they'll move your car to a parking space on 13th Avenue North. You receive a text when everything is complete and you just go to your service advisor and sign a document, pay, and you're done. I don't see how any part of this process could be any easier! Great dealership.

I drove up to the service area (somewhat of a drop off driveway) and there was a car in front of me. Usually there is a service technician that comes and greets you and ask what type of service you are needing. After sitting a couple of minutes and not seeing anyone, I decided to get out and go inside. The person that was in the car in front of me decided to do the same. Once inside, one technician was on the phone with customer then another service technician came out front. Since the other individual arrived before me, I let them go first. The tech that was taking a call came out and assisted me. After leaving my keys in the car and agreeing to a service I originally didn't come for... I didn't see him again. An hour and half later, my patience was wearing thin. I walked to the desk and ask for the status of my car. Another technician asked what car I had and he went to check things out. He came back after a few minutes and said they were checking my car for potential additional issues and he wasn't sure why my original tech did not update me. Communication is key and essential. It's now a little over 2.5 hrs of waiting, hopefully I can leave soon.

I was buying a relatively new, (for my spouse), Passport. Briefly, the experience was as good as I have ever had when buying a car. The salesman, Deon, knew what he was doing and negotiations were calm. Further negotiations with the manager, Willie, were equally calm and professional. Don't get me wrong. Carlock is a business and they are not giving cars away. But the sales team and I arrived at a fair price and my wife was able to drive her new car away yesterday. We are happy, about the experience, and that is unusual when one has just bought a car. I can't believe I'm giving giving five stars to a car dealership, but they deserve it.

My Corvette sometimes wouldn't start, and I had just had an engine replaced in August. It turned out to be something as simple as the car being a manual transmission with a neutral lock--something no one at Edwards Chevrolet could tell me. This leads me to believe not only are the service clerks (Luci was a great clerk) unexperienced, but the technicians must not be very knowledgeable either. The service clerk Brooks literally told me over the phone, before he acted like a grown man, that no one wants to work on my car. I immediately replied, "Well then let me speak to a manager so I can figure out why." He then changed his attitude and started being professional all of a sudden. That made me suspicious. I told two managers at Edwards Chevrolet that their employee spoke to a customer in that way, and they didn't seem the slightest bit surprised. (Marty Phillips and a Mr. Short.) Manager Mr. Short at Edwards Chevrolet said there were cameras positioned at every bay and he would follow up with me to ensure there was no foul play with my vehicle on 10/16. Since then he's ignored my calls and texts. Marty Phillips didn't even care to investigate. He started mentioning how long everyone had worked there, as if that would prove I'm lying. After reviewing their work on October 16, I found three faults: Drained oil A hose that was detached and not placed back A connector disconnected from my starter I am a 27-year-old United States Army veteran, and I think this business is TRASH. No communication. No accountability. No integrity. I'm ashamed that an American business like Chevrolet is attached to Edwards. Very emotionally charged staff. Very unprofessional. Don't trust this dealership.

Fast…read moreforward to 2026, that vehicle was totaled due to a system issue that caused me to crash into another vehicle. On February 6, 2026, I purchased a used 2022 Chevy Blazer Redline Edition (Black). After having the vehicle for just over a month, the radio and display screen stopped working, and the car completely died, which also caused the key fob to stop functioning. When we attempted to use the physical key inside the fob, we discovered it was not the correct key for the door. After several days of communication with the dealership, the vehicle was finally towed to the service department. The car remained there for almost a week, and after multiple follow‑ups from me, I was finally given a diagnosis. Due to extenuating circumstances, I was unable to purchase the extended warranty, so I understood that the financial responsibility would fall on me. I approved the repair, which totaled $1,085. Today, when I followed up on the status of the vehicle--having now been without a car for a week and a half--I was informed that although the original diagnosis had been repaired and the radio was functioning, the display screen was still not working. I was told this would require an additional $621. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I am deeply concerned about how this vehicle passed inspection prior to being sold. I also question why the technician did not identify the issue with the display screen during the initial diagnosis, especially since it was directly related to the radio problem. Based on my experience, I would caution anyone purchasing a used vehicle from Edwards Chevrolet Downtown to secure a warranty immediately. Without one, the experience can be extremely costly and stressful. I am very disappointed, as I previously had a positive relationship with this dealership. I work hard for my money, and I value businesses that demonstrate loyalty, accountability, and integrity. Unfortunately, this situation has left me feeling dismissed and financially burdened due to issues that should have been identified and addressed before the vehicle was sold. Two weeks ago, I underwent major surgery and am currently on medical leave from work, so my finances are extremely limited. After being without a vehicle for a week and a half--and despite requesting a loaner--I was never provided one, nor did I receive a response regarding my request. As a result, I will now be picking up my vehicle in the same condition in which I brought it to the dealership: still not functioning properly. I am already out $1,085 for the initial repair, and I simply cannot afford the additional $621 that was quoted. When I dropped off my vehicle, I provided detailed information, along with photos and a video clearly showing the issues the car was experiencing. It appears that this information was disregarded. Instead, it feels as though only part of the problem was addressed, resulting in an incomplete diagnosis and additional costs. Furthermore, the issue regarding the physical key inside the key fob not fitting the door was never acknowledged or addressed. This has been a difficult lesson, and I will not be doing business with this dealership again. I understand that I am only one customer, and my decision not to do business with this dealership again will not impact them financially. However, I cannot continue to support any company that takes my hard‑earned money and leaves me feeling as though I have been taken advantage of or made to feel foolish and I feel like BOTH!
